BORDER: DHS is revoking the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) of roughly 76,000 Haitians currently living in the US. Created by Congress through the Immigration Act of 1990, TPS allows individuals from countries affected by natural disasters, war, or other dangerous, unusual circumstances to seek refuge in the U.S. This program can be renewed in 18-month increments.
Secretary Noem said, “Temporary Protected Status was designed to be just that—temporary. It is clear that the Government of Honduras has taken all of the necessary steps to overcome the impacts of Hurricane Mitch, almost 27 years ago.” IOW, it’s time for those people to go home.

MILITARY HISTORY: Mule tails have been and, in some places still are trimmed in bell shapes to indicate the animal’s level of training. This was common in the U.S. Army during the 19th and early 20th centuries, because it allowed soldiers to quickly identify a mule’s capabilities in a corral. The system worked as follows:
- Shaved Tail (“Shavetail”): A new, untrained mule had its tail shaved, marking it as a “shavetail” with no training.
- One Bell: Once the mule was trained to carry a pack, its tail was trimmed into a single bell shape at the bottom of the tailbone.
- Two Bells: If the mule was further trained to drive in harness (e.g., pulling a wagon), a second bell was trimmed below the first.
- Three Bells: A mule trained to pack, drive, and carry a rider received a third bell, indicating it was a highly skilled, versatile animal.

SO MUCH HATE: After Dr. Christina Propst posted her vile message, her employer – Blue Fish Pediatrics in Texas – announced she had been placed on administrative leave and subsequently fired. Blue Fish Pediatrics condemned the comments, stating they did not reflect their values, and confirmed her termination on July 6, 2025. The Texas Medical Board also noted that any complaints about Propst would be thoroughly investigated.
In 2021, the Left celebrated her for opposing ending mask mandates in schools and serving on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Children and Disasters. She is still a member of the Council on Children and Disasters. The council’s website welcome page says, “The Council on Children and Disasters areas of expertise include equitable disaster planning and management for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults throughout all disaster phases, such as preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery.”
Apparently, Dr. Propst doesn’t subscribe to the “equitable” part.
