Bits & Bytes

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us find comfort and strength in Your words! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

COMEY vs. COMER: These two men are in the news a lot lately. I thought it would be a good idea to get them straight.

NATO: Instead of us subsidizing the cost of defending the other NATO nations, Trump has gotten them to increase their own defense budgets and buy their weapons from us.

PEACE MAKER: CLICK https://x.com/GuntherEagleman/status/1944778161545208152 [2:07] to hear Trump lower the boom on Russia.

QUILTING: I saw this on FB. “I found a couple quilting books at the thrift store and in the back of one were hand drawn diagrams of patterns. There was one half finished. So I took what was drawn and mirrored it to complete it. My day job is at a custom millwork shop so I decided to ‘finish’ this anonymous person’s possible last project but to do it in wood. I used maple, mahogany, black walnut, red grands, cherry, white oak, and a single piece of butter nut.”

A commenter added, “This pattern is called the Carpenter’s Star.” !!!!! I googled. It really is!!!!

  1. Seems to be a word missing from that top poster. “For I am your [unseen Divinity].” Unless this is one of those color-contrast tests and I failed.

    Precious doggie was precious.

Whoops! You’re right! I never noticed that. It’s one of a set of Scripture stickers Mama Buzz bought for her art slash prayer journaling.

  2. I always get Comer and Comey confused. Is there an easy mnemonic device for keeping them straight?

Since the only difference is “ER” and “EE”, I’m going with “EE” is the one who used to be in charge of the “GEE”-men.
