VIOLENCE: Following the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, a man shot 3 bullets into the Sacramento ABC10 news station. Thankfully, no one was harmed. The shooter, Anibal Hernandez-Santana (64), has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, negligent discharge of a firearm, and shooting into an occupied building. His X account is full of anti-Trump posts like this one: “The authoritarian oligarchy is now complete. The gentleman holding the baby in the pregnant-lady-on-the-airplane story looks so much like Tom Hanks that when I saw it I assumed the story was about him.
The girl who longed for a phone that stays in one place reminded me of something that happened forty years ago, shortly after my son was born.
