AUTOPEN: On Friday, President Donald Trump announced that he is revoking all executive orders that were signed with an autopen under President Joe Biden “because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.” According to Trump, 92% of documents signed by Biden were done so with the autopen.

SCIENCE: A new study entitled “Does tattoo exposure increase the risk of cutaneous melanoma? A population-based case-control study” has been published in the European Journal of Epidemiology. It reports that people with tattoos face a 29% higher risk of contracting cutaneous melanoma (CM), an aggressive type of skin cancer.

SOCIAL SCIENCES: This study and its result remind me of a study one of my professors told us he had done in which he and a buddy pretended to stall their car in the middle of an intersection, then timed how long it took for someone to honk. The times were significantly longer for the high end car than for the beater.
GRAMMY NOTES: In 1982, at a family gathering, I told Dearest it was his turn.
