Twenty-Second Day of Advent

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Draw all close to You this holiday season. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

ART OF THE DEAL: President Donald Trump announced agreements with nine of the largest pharmaceutical companies to offer drugs to Americans at lower prices. The deals with Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Genentech, Merck, and five others will reduce costs for treatments related to autoimmune diseases, cancer, diabetes, and other disorders. Five others signed on to the initiative earlier this year, leaving only three holdouts.

EPSTEIN: CLICK https://x.com/Bubblebathgirl/status/2002365509103144960 [:30] to see a montage of photos showing how chummy Bill Clinton was with this convicted pedophile. I have long suspected Trump resisted releasing these files to protect the office of the presidency from more of Clinton’s vile behavior.

EVERYDAY HEROES: [1:30] – Shout out to all the moms and dads out there who play with and celebrate their kids on a daily basis.

FILM HISTORY: [3:39] – The stop motion version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer first aired on NBC on December 6, 1964. It took about 18 months to complete, with filming done in Japan, music recorded in England, and the voices recorded in Toronto. Nine of the puppets — including Santa and young Rudolph — were given to the producer’s secretary, who gave them to her nieces and nephews, who played with them under the Christmas tree. In the early 2000s, the family sold them to TimeandSpaceToys.com president Kevin A. Kriess who had them restored. In 2020, they were sold at auction for $368,000 sale price, then donated to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS: President Trump granted many federal workers an unprecedented five-day holiday break over Christmas by adding two extra paid days off, the 24th and the 26th.

INDIANA: In 2022, between July and September, there were 2,967 abortions reported. This year, with the state having fully implemented its abortion ban, that number was 42. At this time, abortions are allowed only in instances of rape, incest, fatal fetal anomalies, or to prevent substantial permanent impairment of the pregnant woman’s life.

LA: Just one year after the Palisades fire, Los Angeles leadership has shut down the same reservoir that was empty at the time it was needed most. CLICK https://x.com/TheKevinDalton/status/2001644844876476657 [2:10] to hear about more Democrat incompetence.

OPERATION HAWKEYE STRIKE: On Dec. 13, an ISIS gunman killed two U.S. Army soldiers and a civilian interpreter and wounded three others in Palmyra, Syria. Trump ordered a retaliation strike on dozens of ISIS infrastructure and weapons sites in Syria on Dec. 19.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth said, “This is not the beginning of a war — it is a declaration of vengeance. Today, we hunted and we killed our enemies. Lots of them. And we will continue.”

President Trump said on social media that the Syrian government fully supported the strikes.

PHILATELY: On December 21, 1913, the first modern crossword puzzle was published in the New York World. In 1998, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the event. To see and solve that first puzzle, click https://www.crosswordtournament.com/more/wynne.html.

PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, May we each respond to the call to pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TRANS: The Protect Children’s Innocence Act passed the House in a 216-211 vote. The bill makes it a federal crime to knowingly perform or attempt to perform gender “affirming” procedures on or provide medications to minors. Exceptions are carved out for specific medical conditions and prohibits the arrest or prosecution of patients.

GRAMMY NOTES: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FDf2JzKDo34 to be blessed. I need a tissue. This prayer really hit the spot for me today. Lyrics: I pray for your healing, that circumstances will change. I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus’ name. I pray that a breakthrough would happen today. I pray miracles over your life in Jesus’ name. I pray for revival, for restoration of faith. I pray that the dead will come to life in Jesus’ name. In Jesus’ name. Ohhh.
