MINNESOTA: On Wednesday, border czar Tom Homan announced that 700 immigration agents will be leaving the state. Homan said the staffing reduction is possible because of what he described as unprecedented cooperation from local and county jails in Minnesota, which are increasingly notifying ICE before inmates are released. NEVADA: [26:00] – Inside the locked garage of a residential home in Las Vegas, investigators found lab equipment, hazardous chemicals, and refrigerators/freezers containing potentially infectious agents.
The lab’s stated purpose was selling test kits, but it mainly imported and resold counterfeit kits from China. The house is owned by Jia Bei Zhu (also referred to as David He in some reports), a Chinese national who is in jail for operating a similarly unauthorized biolab in Reedley, California.
Incredibly, Ori Solomon, Zhu’s property manager, had been renting out three bedrooms in the house via AirBnB. The video police report linked above says the renters are not connected to the investigation.

WARMTH OF COLLECTIVISM: At least 14 New Yorkers have died outside during the recent cold snap. The Socialist mayor of New Yuck City, a man who has never had a real job in his entire life, dispatched 20 “warming buses” around New York City to provide shelter and sandwiches to the homeless. City officials said it was part of their “all-hands-on-deck” approach to helping the homeless deal with the brutally cold weather.
The only problem is … none of the “hands-on-deck” bothered to tell anybody about the busses. The Gothamist was at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal where two warming busses sat empty, because nobody in the terminal — including homeless people, an NYPD officer and terminal employees — knew they were out there.
