AUSTRALIA: After a Sudanese refugee was found guilty of brutally raping a 20-year-old woman in a park in June 2024, a Queensland judge described him as “this wonderful young man with a very bright future who has worked very hard to get to where he is, considering his background.” While allegedly acknowledging his crime as one of the most serious under the criminal code, she nevertheless sentenced him to only two years in custody, followed by three years parole.

FLORIDA: The state’s new “HALO Law” went into effect on January 1, 2025. The HALO Law, which builds on existing “Move Over” laws regarding emergency scenes on roadways, establishes a 25-foot buffer zone around first responders while they perform their duties. Violators first receive a verbal warning not to approach from someone who they know or reasonably should know is a first responder; if they knowingly and willfully violate the warning and come within or remain within 25 feet of that first responder with the intent to impede or interfere with first responders’ ability to perform their duties, harass, or threaten with physical harm, they will be charged with a second-degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to 60 days in jail and/or a $500 fine. First responders include law enforcement officers, correctional probation officers, firefighters, and emergency medical care providers.

MILITARY: On Sunday, the U.S. Departments of Energy and War transported a small nuclear reactor on a C-17 cargo plane from California to Utah to demonstrate the potential to quickly deploy nuclear power for military and civilian use. “This gets us closer to deploy nuclear power when and where it is needed to give our nation’s warfighters the tools to win in battle,” a spokesman said.
MINNESOTA: In March and early April 2025, Dylan Bryan Adams was captured on surveillance video keying at least six Teslas in Minneapolis parking lots. The vandalism was part of a broader wave of anti-Tesla/Musk protests tied to Musk’s role in DOGE, which focuses on cutting federal inefficiencies and identifying fraud in programs like Medicaid.
He was arrested by Minneapolis police in April 2025 on suspicion of felony criminal damage to property. But, because this was Minnesota, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office declined to press charges, despite the fact that Adams had caused approximately $20,000–$21,000 in damage.
Now we learn that this same individual has been employed by Minnesota DHS since 2018 as a financial policy compliance lead; his position is also referred to in reports as a fiscal policy analyst or data analyst. In this position, he was involved in reviewing and overseeing Medicaid fraud cases, including financial compliance and data analysis for the state’s welfare programs.
IOW, the guy who was never punished for vandalizing Teslas was busy, busy, busy ignoring the billion$ in blatant fraud going on in Minnesota.
