Bits & Bytes

AMERICAN HISTORY: On April 7, 1805, the Lewis and Clark Expedition left Fort Mandan, beginning their journey to the Pacific Ocean.

MIDTERMS: Midterms elections usually brutalize the party that holds the White House. There have only been three exceptions – 1934 (FDR), 1998 (Clinton), and 2002 (Bush). Will 2026 be the fourth?

STUPID PEOPLE: Stupid (adj) “Slow to learn or understand; obtuse. Tending to make poor decisions.” – CLICK https://www.facebook.com/reel/2778044569240816 [2:31] to hear this woman’s before and after. She dismisses her Mexican family’s concerns and says things like “I want to be part of the majority,” then citing a desire for “diversity.” Wait, wut? She also cites “affordable health care,” then admits in the second video that they could not actually afford the health care their kid needed for a serious problem that developed after they moved. I mean … it’s sad, but it’s also infuriating. Why didn’t she listen to her relatives?! And can I just ask the universe … why do all these women wear nose rings?

UGLIEST BUILDINGS: I was racking my brains trying to think of any building on Earth that is as or more ugly than the Obama Center. Finally, I googled. Sadly, there are two that I think qualify. Links below.

GRAMMY NOTES: The Mascots are driving here tomorrow and staying until Sunday. Please pray for us to have an excellent visit in every way.
