AG: Trump’s nominee for attorney general, Todd Blanche, has been confirmed in a 50–49 vote. Blanche has served as acting attorney general since April after previously serving as former AG Pam Bondi’s number two.
BALLROOM: The D.C. Circuit Court voted 2-1 that President Trump can’t demolish the East Wing of the White House and replace it with a ballroom without first receiving authorization from Congress. The dissenting judge said the ruling gave too little weight to the President’s national security judgments. Common sense says the ruling also ignores the fact that the East Wing of the White House was demolished more than a year ago.

BIBLE: Jesus performed miraculous feedings twice. In the feeding of the five thousand, He fed a Jewish crowd in Galilee with five loaves and two fish, with twelve baskets of fragments collected afterward. Because of the twelve tribes of Israel, twelve is the number of completeness for the Jewish people.
In the feeding of the four thousand, Jesus fed a largely Gentile crowd in the region of the Decapolis with seven loaves and a few fish, with seven baskets collected afterwards. Because God rested on the seventh day, in Jewish numerology, seven is the number for completeness for all of creation.
Note also that, for the Jews, He began with seven and ended with twelve while, for the Gentiles, He began with seven plus three and ended with seven.
Jesus did not perform the same miracle twice by accident or because the tradition confused two memories of one event. He performed it once in Jewish territory and once in Gentile territory, with numbers that said, to anyone who was listening carefully, that what he had done for Israel He was now also doing for all nations.
BONANZA: A U.S. company has found a mineral system containing lithium, potash, boron, and 1.78 million tons of tungsten. The multi-billion-dollar tungsten deposit alone is reportedly five times larger than any we’ve currently got and comes at a time when we are relying heavily on imports for the strategic metal.

PSA: I saw this on my Facebook feed – “We would like to warn everyone about a scam complaint that we received today from a resident who purchased a new cell phone from Spectrum. Upon delivery by FedEx, the resident received a call from the cellular provider who informed them that they had received the wrong cell phone and needed to send it back. An email was sent to the resident with a QR code with directions to go to a local store that returns FedEx packages. The resident sent the phone as directed and later learned from the cell phone provider it was a scam. This has been occurring nationwide for the past few months. If you purchased a new phone, don’t send it back! Please call your cell phone provider and don’t EVER call any numbers provided by an unknown person. Thanks. ~ Homer Police Department”
SPOKANE: This photo captures an untouched statue of the Virgin Mary standing amid the debris of a residential property destroyed by the Indian Trail Fire near Spokane, Washington. While the image has given hope to many of the faithful, it is not miraculous. Concrete is fire-resistant; statues like this frequently survive house fires.
