FLORIDA: This week, Florida’s State University System Board of Governors voted unanimously to ban illegal aliens from the state’s 12 public universities, beginning in the 2027-2028 academic year. The decision follows moves by the Florida Board of Education to bar undocumented students from the state’s 24 public colleges, GED programs and, most recently, career and technical education programs.
IRAN: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier and guided-missile destroyer and missed. In response, we shot our missiles at three of their crude oil carriers and destroyed them all.

MURDER: Corie A. Walsh, a mother in Illinois, was arrested and charged with the murder of her 2-year-old son after a neighbor found the child in the basement of the home. Witnesses say that Walsh was “heavily invested” in the Lindsay Clancy trial and was debating it over text just hours before the murder occurred.

NEVADA: In January 2020, Democrats were 38% of the state’s electorate and led Republicans by more than 83,000 active voters. When automatic voter registration kicked in that year, the Democratic edge rose to more than 110,000. Joe Biden won the state’s electoral votes by 33,596 votes.
Since January 1, 2025, the state has been actively cleaning up its voter rolls, removing people who have died, moved, or never should have been registered in the first place. At this point, registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by a scant 672 individuals.

Elias Henry (also a woman who identifies as a man) who pastors at The Corner House, a Lutheran, LGBT-affirming campus ministry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
GRAMMY NOTES: One of my brothers (see link below) used to host Chinese tourism students for summer programs at Cornell University. He told us they always wanted to see our stores. The quantity and quality of goods, particularly food, always made them suspicious that he was only showing them the government stores, so he would pile them on the bus and let them choose where it went.
