EDUCATION: A public school district in Maryland told a home schooled teen he could not join a local JROTC unit because of a state law. Excluding home schooled students bars them from accessing benefits should they choose to enlist. The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) helped the teen by pointing out to the school district that (a) JROTC is federally funded and (b) federal regulations declare that home schooled students who are otherwise qualified for a local JROTC program cannot be excluded.
LIFE: It’s not safe. It’s not harmless. And we who oppose it are not “stupid” and/or ignorant of how “science” works. The science says human life begins at the moment of conception.
MILITARY: When Navy SEALs went on night operations in the rivers and jungle of Vietnam, leeches attacked. Standard issue gear did nothing to keep them out. So the guys had their girlfriends and wives mail them pantyhose which leeches can’t bite through.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE: On September 24, former President Joe Biden received the Sonia Schorr Sloan service award from Planned Parenthood of Delaware. His thank you speech for the “incredible honor” begins at 9:35. I didn’t listen to it.

TENNESSEE: In 1995, Christa Pike tortured Colleen Slemmer with a meat cleaver, then bashed her head in with a large chunk of asphalt. She kept a piece of Slemmer’s skull and would show it off and boast about how she got it. In 1996, Pike was convicted of the murder and sentenced to death. On September 30, 2026, having finally exhausted all appeals, she was injected twice with what should have been but failed to be lethal doses. She is now in a hospital on life support. I am praying she is spending some quality time with Jesus before it is too late for her to repent.
VISAS: State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott says, “A U.S. visa is a privilege, not a right—and if you violate the terms of that privilege, you will lose it.”
Thus far, the Trump State Department has revoked more than 250,000 visas, because of violations or other conduct by the holders, including criminal activity, public safety concerns, immigration violations, fraud or misrepresentation, or other information indicating that they were no longer eligible for a visa.
“Every visa decision is a national security decision. Through continuous vetting on a scale never seen before, we are identifying and removing those who commit crimes, support terrorism, defraud Americans, or abuse our immigration system,” Pigott said.
VOTING: A federal judge on Oct. 1 threw out a case against a Jamaican woman who voted in a U.S. federal election, finding that the law the prosecution says she broke is unconstitutional because it was passed by Congress. “Congress has no power to say who can vote or who cannot vote in federal elections—that foundational power is reserved for the States.”
