AMERICAN HISTORY: On October 29, 1998, John Glenn returned to space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. At the age of 77, he was the oldest person to go into space.

These are people who grew up with the draconian one-child policy, people who had been assured that they didn’t need off-spring because the state would take care of them to the end.
COURT: A three-judge U.S. Fifth District Circuit panel has removed U.S. District Judge Henry Wingate, of the Southern District of Mississippi, from Jackson Federation of Teachers v. Fitch. The ruling said Wingate had “ignored and manipulated governing law, apparently to satisfy a policy agenda.”

TRUMP: A new report from the Department of Justice shows serious violent victimization (rape or sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated assault) fell 25%, from 9.9 to 7.4 per 1,000 persons age 12 or older. That equals roughly 669,000 fewer injured and traumatized Americans.
