I’ve researched and it appears our two options are to switch to one of the free ad free blog hosting services or stay here and pay $4 a month.
Mindful Webworkers mentioned that he switched to the Opera browser and doesn’t see pop ups.
I use Firefox and don’t notice them except at YouTube where little boxes appear on some of the videos as I’m watching them. But I am not sure if those are technically pop up ads or if the specific YouTuber gets paid to host them.

BRAZIL: Brazil’s new top diplomat is provoking strong reaction among leftists due to a number of statements that have recently surfaced showing him bucking against some of their most cherished beliefs. Ernesto Frago Araújo has called climate change an “ideology” contrived by “cultural Marxists” in order to stifle western economies. He has also, at the same time, called out the left for attempting to “criminalize” the “family,” “heterosexual intercourse,” the statement that “a person is born a man or a woman,” and “faith in God.”
ICE: BWAHAHA! New Jersey is following California’s lead by adopting new sanctuary state-like rules regarding how its local law enforcement agencies will cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It’s part of blue state America’s ongoing war on the Trump administration, flipping them off whenever they can, especially when it comes to immigration. ICE responded by saying that they would just increase immigration raids in New Jersey.
BILLARY MEETS THE MARKETPLACE: A funny thing happened on their way to insignificance —The New York Times’ Maureen Dowd paid $177 for her ticket to see the Clintons yammer, but prices for future events have plummeted. Tickets to see the duo at the Financial Centre in Sugar Land, Texas, on Dec. 4, are running anywhere from $11 to $80 depending on the seat quality.

ALL of them kinda sorta TOTALLY MISS THE POINT, which is that all those bad behaviors get shown up at the end when Rudolph saves Christmas. Sheesh.

IMMIGRATION: Mayor of Tijuana is NOT happy — Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum called for the arrest of the organizers of the Central American illegal migrant caravans. It’s not surprising that Gastelum is growing impatient with the caravan. There is an estimated over 6,000 migrants settled in his city, and they are beginning to cause problems. “We’ve have never, never, never, never had this problem,” Gastelum said. “Some of these people are coming in violently, disrespectfully, not as a good, law-abiding citizen. And that’s what’s hurt us.” Gastelum said the migrants are also significantly hurting Tijuana economically.

BUILD THE WALL: President Donald Trump’s $5 billion request for funds to use building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border equals 0.11% of the estimated $4.5 trillion the federal government is expected to spend this fiscal year. The funding for food stamps in October alone cost more than the president’s entire FY 2019 request for the border wall.
IMMIGRATION:Using kids to game the system — Homeland Security Department reported a 110% increase in the number of men showing up at the border with children, noting they can be used not just by families, but also by by smugglers and drug traffickers to enter the country. Families are also using fraud to game the immigration system. The department said that 170 families have been caught lying about their relationships to enter the U.S.
KEEP THEM OUT: DHS Sec Nielsen sent an internal memo to the leaders of the departments of State, Labor, Energy, Transportation, Interior or Justice asking them to send law enforcement officers to the border to help keep caravan riders from entering the U.S. Should they do it, the move would be unprecedented. But then, so is the assault on our border. If law enforcement does head to the border, active duty troops will be pulled from their mission sooner, DHS officials said.

NAFTA GONE: USMCA IN— President Donald J. ASYLUM: Bogus claims — New numbers from the Department of Homeland Security show that just 9 percent of asylum claims made by individuals from Central America turn out to be legitimate. Clearly, we are wasting resources on detention space, court space and the time of our asylum officers and immigration judges to handle so many frivolous claims.
ELECTION FRAUD: Always seems to favor Democrats –– Orange County, a traditionally conservative enclave in Southern California “somehow” turned all blue after election day, when Democrats “found” tens of thousands of votes that managed to flip every House seat result.
H8T: The Party of Tolerance — I read half-way through this mess, but really HAD to stop when I saw someone accusing Palin of hurting the poor with oil drilling. HER gubernatorial negotiations with the oil companies got all Alaskans annual fair share pay outs from them! Even military personnel can apply. The Buzzers were in AK for 6 years and got muy dineros every year, because of SARAH PALIN.
H8T: Profiling — A Massachusetts landlord told a Harvard University graduate student that he wanted her to move out of her apartment because her legally owned, fully compliant firearms made some of her roommates uncomfortable. Turns out the roommates only found out she had guns, because they searched her room. And why did they feel compelled to violate her privacy? Because she has a MAGA hat and she’s from Alabama! And why does she have firearms? Well, gollee, #MeTooers … cuz she’s an abuse survivor. Roomies don’t care. They are forcing her to move out, which means finding new digs, packing, moving, etc. Exam week starts on December 12. Hopefully, the witches will let her put off moving until intersession. Sheesh.
WHISTLEBLOWER: Disturbing if accurate— According to Daily Caller, the FBI illegally raided a whistle-blower’s home, ignoring his protected whistle-blower status and totally bypassing his lawyer. The whistle-blower properly delivered documents showing that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One.
FAKE NEWS: NPR puts out totally false story — After being called out by the Washington Post, which is surely no friend to the Trumps, NPR retracted its blatantly false article saying Donald Trump Jr. had committed perjury during testimony in Congress on Russia and a proposed building in Moscow.
DEPTHS OF DARKNESS: The cusp of an abyss — Who knew that a booming economy with record low unemployment was the “depths of darkness”? Who knew that Democrats taking back the House was an epic moment in American history like landing on the moon and passing civil rights? Never mind that it’s absolutely NORMAL for the House to flip to the other party in the first midterm after a new president takes office. ::snort::
CARAVAN: On Ellis Island, they sent sick wannabe immigrants back where they came from. More than one-third of the 6,000 migrants gathered in Tijuana are receiving medical care. There are confirmed cases of hepatitis, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, chickenpox, lice, plus a variety of skin infections.

ONE LESS ABORTIONIST: Thank God! Columbus, Ohio abortionist Harley Blank has voluntarily surrendered his medical license rather than face formal disciplinary proceedings. While working as an abortionist at Founder’s Women’s Health Care, Blank illegally prescribed controlled substances to men, failed to maintain medical malpractice insurance as required by law, and did an abortion on a woman who had an ectopic pregnancy that later ruptured, leaving her unable to bear children.
In a statement released on November 28, 2018, Greater Columbus Right to Life (GCRTL) stated, “We have known for a considerable amount of time that Founder’s is not a safe place for women or their unborn children, and we have observed increasingly erratic behavior on the part of Dr. Blank, who joins another Founder’s abortion provider – who is currently serving time in federal prison for child pornography – as having his medical license permanently revoked.”

Daily Caller has obtained internal Google documents showing employees discussing the pros/cons of burying conservative sites, particularly Daily Caller and Breitbart News, in search results in response to Donald Trump’s winning of the 2016 election. A Google VP was part of conversation. This is the second known instance of Google employees advocating for manipulating search results for anti-Trump purposes.
OOPS: Yale study shows Liberals are more racist. According to a study at Yale, white liberals have a tendency to downplay their own level of intelligence when they interact with blacks and other “racial minorities.” The study also revealed that white conservatives don’t do this and they tend to use the same language no matter who they’re speaking with. Which would point to conservatives not seeing color as much as liberals. This seems to go against the popular narrative that white conservatives are the ones who have issues with race.
UNIVERSITIES: People pay real money to send their kids to these places? Detroit’s Oakland University is passing out hockey pucks to faculty and student government leaders to throw at active shooters should such an event break out. Meanwhile, The Associated Students of Stanford University have awarded a conservative club a measly $16.50 to host Dinesh D’Souza, then slapped a more than $19,000 fee on the club for “security.” And to add insult to injury, when a private supporter offered to pay that exorbitant fee, Stanford said nope, cuz half of the funding to pay for security had to originate from “on campus sources.”

Also, Rep. Tom Reed’s bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus struck a deal with Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on a series of rules changes aimed at giving more lawmakers a voice in lawmaking. The deal isn’t as far-reaching as what the Problem Solvers originally sought, but it would open up the legislative process to popular bipartisan measures while diluting the influence of lawmakers on the far right and far left.
Reed (who is my rep) says, “These rule changes represent a hopeful and substantial breakthrough to empower the people we represent, enable rank-and-file Members to truly govern and make it easier for bipartisan bills to pass.”
CATHOLIC CHARITY: The California wildfire hit hard within the Diocese of Sacramento. Before the fire was even fully contained, the department of schools for the diocese announced that it would be offering free tuition at its Catholic schools for any Butte County students displaced by the wildfire.
INGRATES: Obama saved GM with taxpayer dollars. Now the company says it’s going to cut up to 14,000 workers in North America. President Trump threatened to cut off subsidies. “Very disappointed with General Motors and their CEO, Mary Barra, for closing plants in Ohio, Michigan and Maryland. Nothing being closed in Mexico & China. The U.S. saved General Motors, and this is the THANKS we get! We are now looking at cutting all @GM subsidies, including for electric cars. General Motors made a big China bet years ago when they built plants there (and in Mexico) – don’t think that bet is going to pay off. I am here to protect America’s Workers!”
CLIMATE ACTIVISTS CLOBBERED IN MIDTERMS: Voters rejected the two highest-profile climate-activist ballot initiatives, severely punished Republicans who joined the congressional Climate Solutions Caucus, and sent home the Democratic climate activist most heavily supported by billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer.
Washington State voters soundly rejected a ballot initiative that would have taxed carbon dioxide emissions. Arizona voters inflicted a humiliating defeat on a ballot initiative that would have required 50 percent of the state’s electricity to come from renewable sources.
WELL, THAT’S JUST WRONG: On Nov 20, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said this as part of his pitch for an international convention against speech critical of the Muslim prophet:
“There were prophets of Allah other [than Muhammad], but there is no mention of them in human history. There is negligible mention of them. Moses is mentioned, but there is no mention of Jesus in history.”
Yeah, no. The life of Jesus Christ is better documented than that of any figure from ancient times. Written accounts of His life date from as early as twenty years after He left Earth. Compare this to the over 200 year gap between the death of Alexander the Great and his earliest biography!
SHRILLARY: On Tuesday, Bill and Hillary Clinton kicked off their 13-city tour dubbed ‘An Evening with the Clintons.’ They spoke in Toronto to a hall that was 83% empty. This figure is made even more embarrassing by the fact that as the date of the event neared, the venue was not able to give tickets away at just $6.55 each. Ticket prices started between $200 and $53 Canadian. VIDEO: Right after trashing President Trump, Hillary had another of her coughing fits that went on an on.
2d AMENDMENT: “West Wing” and “Get Out” actor Bradley Whitford hates the Second Amendment. And he isn’t afraid to use Twitter to drip scorn all over those who believe we have a right to bear arms. I copied his original tweet with my favorite response above. Here are some other good come backs:

AVENATTI and STORMY: On Wednesday, Stormy Daniels told The Daily Beast that not only did Michael Avenatti sue Donald Trump for defaming her against her wishes, but also he started a fundraising site to raise money for her legal defense without telling her. She says she learned about the fundraising on Twitter and that Avenatti has been ignoring her repeated requests for accounting information about it for months.
NOT MY PRESIDENT, THANK GOD: At an event on Tuesday night, Obama said, “Suddenly America is the largest oil producer, that was me people … say thank you.”THEN, he accused America of having a big “smugness” problem. Oh well. At least he still looks good in a tux.
DEMOCRAT v. DEMOCRATS: California Rep. Barbara Lee lost her bid to become the first woman to lead the House Democratic Caucus when her fellow Democrats chose a younger-than-her black man for the position. She blamed ageism and sexism. ::snork::
