FAKE NEWS:  MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow made an unjustified claim that the White House altered a video of the Putin press conference. She said, “It is a form of information warfare and it is being waged against us.” Hours after the no-friend-to-Trump Washington Post busted her for pushing a fake news story, CNN’s Media Analyst Brian Stelter pushed the fake news story. Red Steeze notes, “Brian will watch Fox News all day long looking for even the most minute discrepancies in reporting but then quotes Rachel Maddow at will, doesn’t correct her and doesn’t correct himself.”

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: Denial

Dearest and I watched this last night. We were riveted throughout and very satisfied with the ending. I don’t know how closely it follows the true story of this trial, but as entertainment, it’s excellent.

Sorry for being gone so much. I’m having another bad week. :0/  The good news is that Dearest is feeling a LOT better!  He lost ten pounds during his illness, which looks good on him, so there’s that to be grateful for.  🙂

TRUMP APPROVAL: President Trump’s approval rating reached an all-time high of 45% in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. That’s up 1 point from their June poll. Of the last four presidents, only George W. Bush, after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, had a higher approval rating than Trump at the same point in his presidency.

The MASCOTS Move

July 20 from Mama Buzz: “Most of the house is packed and multiple crates have been loaded on to the truck.  Last night, after the excitement of staying at a hotel wore off, Bunny was laying in bed telling me she misses her home and she doesn’t want to leave. We talked about how we are all sad to leave and its ok to cry about it, but to also remember we have exciting things to look forward to with our move — mainly getting to see so much family more often! I’ve been reminding myself of this a lot too. Tomorrow, we have our good-bye potluck picnic at the park with whoever wants to see us one more time.  We have to clean the house, get it inspected, etc., then we’re going to do a day cruise to see glaciers and ocean wildlife before we leave. Lots of prayers please!”
