In an effort to demonstrate its “commitment to inclusivity,” Washington State University has begun stocking men’s restrooms with free menstrual products.

The initiative is one of many focusing on “improving the transgender community experience on campus,” and is currently being tested in three restrooms on the Pullman, Wash. campus. The university is in the process of “assessing similar needs” at other WSU campuses to determine which men’s rooms will receive new accommodations.

Something Else The Media Will Never Show You

Trump makes unscheduled visit to Arlington to honor fallen soldiers during ‘Wreaths Across America’ event

I don’t recall Barky ever honoring our war dead this way. If he did,he’d have his personal boot licking media covering it.

President Donald Trump made an unannounced visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday to honor America’s fallen as thousands across the country laid wreaths on veterans’ graves.
Trump paid his respects as volunteers for ‘Wreaths Across America‘ waited in long lines to place a Christmas wreath on the tombs of America’s greatest heroes. The event, which is held every December, aims to “remember, honor, and teach” about those who served, and perished, fighting for America’s freedom. In addition to Arlington National Cemetery, Wreaths Across America Day is observed at more than 1,400 cemeteries in all 50 states, as well as at sea and abroad.

Another Good Man Destroyed

Interior Secretary Zinke to Step Down After Dems Bury Him in Legal Fees and Investigations Over His Trump Socks, Real Estate Deals

Bloomberg White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs reported, “Ryan Zinke has notified the White House he intends to step down as interior secretary. Concern about legal costs and scrutiny of his travel, political activity and potential conflicts of interest were factors in Zinke’s decision, I’m told. Plan is to announce Wednesday.”

“Replacement names that have emerged include Nevada’s Dean Heller, Nevada’s Adam Laxalt, Wisconsin’s Scott Walker, Idaho’s Butch Otter, Utah’s Sean Reyes and others,” Jennifer Jacobs added.
In July, the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with Mueller’s Special Counsel) opened a case file on President Trump’s Interior Secretary, Ryan Zinke for a possible violation of the Hatch Act because he posted a photo of Trump socks on Twitter.

Yes, that is correct. A Trump official was being investigated over his socks

Enviros already start their campaign to derail Zinke’s likely replacement

In the several hours since President Donald Trump announced Ryan Zinke would be stepping down from his position as Secretary of the Interior Department, critics have already launched an attack website against his likely replacement.

The Western Values Project (WVP), a left-leaning environmental organization, has launched http://www.davidbernhardt.org, a website that purportedly lists the conflicts of interest in David Bernhardt’s past. Bernhardt is the current deputy secretary of the Interior, and will serve as acting secretary once Zinke leaves at the end of the year.

KFC’s chicken-scented yule logs unleash 11 herbs and spices, sell out within hours

One of the more memorable holiday items of 2018 will probably have to be the chicken-scented yule logs from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The chicken chain restaurant launched its own KFC-scented Enviro-Logs on Thursday, claiming that once burning, the logs will smell like the Colonel’s signature blend of 11 herbs and spices, Fox News reported.

Jackpot

Democrats win the Justice Department lottery

It is amazing how so many government officials under investigation conveniently lose or destroy things that would be helpful to determine guilt.

Robert Mueller’s office wiped information off Lisa Page’s and Peter Strzok’s phones when they obviously knew that Congress and others would like to see the messages. I am sure that Mueller would be congenial if his targets wiped off stuff he wanted to see and said, Don’t worry! There was nothing important to see.

Lois Lerner’s computer conveniently crashed when she was being looked at for violating first amendment rights of Obama opponents.

Hillary’s computer was completely wiped clean, but she didn’t have to worry because she knew that Comey was there and would forgive Hillary’s violations of the law by saying essentially that she wasn’t smart enough to follow the law so she didn’t have to.

It is well known that Hillary handed out access for money, but almost six years after she left office, I still haven’t see any prosecution.

Not only did Obama sell access and jobs for donations, but his administration had multiple slush funds for political purposes and to reward supporters. Where are the prosecutors and investigative reporters?

Meanwhile, Trump is being continuously investigated while Obama continues to say there were no scandals or prosecutions while he was in. It helps to have a complicit Justice Department and media.

Maybe Trump should have set up a war room with campaign staffers and campaign money and hired private eyes to destroy the women who accused Bill Clinton, as Hillary did, instead of paying them off quietly with private funds, as Trump did. Then the media, Democrats, and the Justice Department would say it’s OK and support him, as they did the Clintons for decades. Is my assumption correct?

Workers Stage Rally At Amazon Warehouse In Shakopee

During the heart of the holiday season, Somali Amazon workers staged a protest and rally against the company they say is not responding to community demands. Joining them Friday evening at an Amazon warehouse in Shakopee will be U.S. Rep.-elect Ilhan Omar, who’s the first Somali-American and one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress.

After meeting twice with Amazon management, members of its East African workforce say they were forced to stage this rally.

What they want are safe jobs and respect for Amazon’s majority East African workforce — 60 percent of Amazon’s 3,000 workers in the area are East African. They want Amazon to be fair when dealing with them when it comes to productivity.

Workers say its hard to reach that 230 item an hour requirement because their time is interrupted when they leave the production line for prayer. Muslim workers are given paid leave for prayers breaks, a requirement by state law.

This group wants Amazon to promote workers from their majority East African workforce and to use profits to fund initiatives that address issues like lack of safe and affordable housing.

They believe Amazon should work with it’s Somali workers to reduce economic disparity in the community it heavily recruits from.

The workers are being represented by the nonprofit Awood Center. But the Star Tribune reports the two sides have not resolved their differences, which include increasing workloads and limited advancement opportunities.

Never Cross Mike Madigan

He’s not the most powerful politician in Illinois by accident.

An incoming freshman legislator from west suburban Naperville — who campaigned on a promise to vote against Mike Madigan as speaker — says she is receiving warnings from Democratic lawmakers and unions that a “no” vote on his leadership bid will lead to retaliation against her.

State Rep.-elect Anne Stava-Murray told the Sun-Times she has received many calls, with many following a “script.”

In addition, she says that at a dinner featuring lawmakers she and other freshman legislators were “forcibly kissed” — although she didn’t immediately elaborate on that situation.

In a lengthy text message Stava-Murray wrote to Jessica Basham, Madigan’s chief of staff, the new lawmaker said that she has “fielded several calls from colleagues seeking to change my mind about my vote that had made me actively worry about retaliation if I didn’t ‘choose my battles wisely’ and if I ‘started off on the wrong foot.’”

Why The Second Amendment Is Vital

Venezuelans Lament Gun Ban: Allows Government to Dominate Them

As violent as the left is by nature, imagine if we did not have the means to defend ourselves.

The ban was passed under Hugo Chavez and then bolstered with $47 million for enforcement under Nicolas Maduro. The penalty for “illicit carrying or selling a weapon now is 20 years behind bars.”

In addition to the threats from their own government, Venezuelans now face a surging violent crime rate. For example, fewer than 10,000 people were murdered in Venezuela in 2012, the year the gun ban was put in place. Thereafter the death numbers began to climb; “28,000 people were murdered” in Venezuela in 2015.

In the United States, the Founding Fathers put the Second Amendment in place for the explicit purpose of guaranteeing the citizens could defend themselves from their own government. In Federalist 46, James Madison made clear that Americans are exceptional because armed.

Hating The President Is Not a Strategy

As Never-Trumper Bill Kristol has learned the hard way.

The Weekly Standard, a 28-year old neoconservative institution, is reportedly headed towards dissolution after its founder, Bill Kristol, devoted almost three years of work to attacking the President and his supporters.

It’s not just Kristol. The entire world of clickbait Trump-hate seems to be in jeopardy, including sites that cater to the liberal base.

On cable TV, one network in particular has abandoned decades of journalistic tradition and ethics, devoting its resources to a relentless, nakedly partisan crusade to savage President Trump: CNN. Its ratings, predictably, are in the tank — in October, CNN fell behind both the Hallmark Channel and Home and Garden Television.

The Left Eats The Left

CNN election analyst on Dems’ 2020 race: “I am not sure it’s the time to nominate a white man”

Enten’s not giving you his personal take on white male candidates writ large or white men in general, he’s saying that to Democratic primary voters being a traditional white male candidate may be more of a liability than an asset at this point. Which is true. By the time 2020 gets here, it’ll be 16 years since they’ll have nominated one for president and almost 24 years since they successfully elected one president.

And because the left measures all things in terms of “progress,” nominating a white guy after the trailblazing candidacies of Obama and Hillary will be seen by some as a “step back.” Activist righties spend much of their time nowadays complaining about the left’s obsession with identity politics, with good reason, but that’s exactly Enten’s point in the segment. Identity politics will matter next year in the primary. A lot.
