New study reiterates: Abortion is not pro-woman

Women deserve better than abortion

A new study published in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons found that abortions are not helping or empowering women.

Nearly 1,000 post-abortive women were interviewed.

  • 74% said they had felt pressured or coerced to abort their unborn babies.
  • 58% said they had had their abortions to make other people happy.
  • 20% said they did not feel any pressure whatsoever to abort.

When asked what ways the abortion positively impacted their life, 53% said either said “none” or did not provide a response.

Dr. Jane Orient, managing editor of the journal, told OneNewsNow that most of the women sought some sort of counseling after their abortions.

Before the pregnancy that led to an abortion, only a very small number of women had had any type of psychiatric or psychological care or counseling. Afterwards, the great majority of them had to have some sort of counseling to help them cope with post-abortion emotions.

It is time for public officials to finally hold Planned Parenthood and their criminal abortion enterprise accountable under the law.”

Call me crazy, but I just think dismemberment is wrong.

It never ceases to amaze me that leftists can endure the cognitive dissonance of condemning waterboarding as too cruel, while demanding access to dismemberment as a right. But maybe this is one reason they seem to be such lunatics. Their brains are broken.

A former abortionist explains the dismemberment abortion procedure.

In June, Texas banned this gruesome and inhumane procedure. Abortionists have challenged the ban, which has now gone to trial in the District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Texas is vigorously defending its ban, pointing out that several abortion procedures which do not dismember the unborn child while still alive are still legal including fetal injection of intracardiac potassium chloride, transabdominal injection of digoxin, and cutting of the umbilical cord.

Similar bans have remained unchallenged in Mississippi and West Virginia, been temporarily or permanently stopped by court order in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, and been overturned as unconstitutional in Alabama.  The Kansas Supreme Court is expected to hand down a final decision sometime soon on its challenged ban.

Laws like this that get conflicting district court decisions usually end up being tried by the Supreme Court.

Is ending the life of a human fetus moral?

A recent Marist poll has shown that an overwhelming majority Americans are in favor of restricting abortion to the first trimester or to cases of rape, incest, and life of the mother.

Given that a ban on D&E does not eliminate the possibility of a second trimester abortion, one must wonder why abortion providers like Planned Parenthood are fighting in court for the right to continue tearing live fetuses to death.

Free speech and safe spaces for me!

But not for thee!

2017_10 25 Vandalizing pro-life display

Ontario passed a bill to prohibit pro-lifers from reaching out to women outside abortion facilities. Pro-life advocates who violate the law could face fines of up to $10,000 and six months in jail.

When does life begin?

Some guy called Patrick Tomlinson tweeted what he considered to be proof positive that the “life begins at conception” crowd are hypocrites. Briefly, he proposed a situation where a pro-lifer is trapped in a burning fertility clinic and can rescue only a five-year-old child crying for help or a frozen box labeled “1000 Viable Human Embryos.” Which would you choose? The child, of course. GOTCHA! You don’t really believe life begins at conception. Ba-da-bum.

Matt Walsh skillfully and logically took his silly hypothetical to pieces. Just one paragraph of his article:

“It doesn’t matter how I value them personally. It’s their intrinsic value that matters. I value my family over your family but your family has the same intrinsic value. I’m making the decision based, as I said before, on emotion. I can see the child. I hear him crying. I’m looking him in the eyes. I grab him. It’s instinct. But there’s also some logic to it. I don’t really know how many of those embryos are still viable and whether they’ll ever be implanted and given the chance to develop. Again: this calculation WOULD NOT justify killing the embryos under any circumstance, but it would justify my decision to save the child instead. By the way, if it were a five-year-old and a 70-year-old in there, I’d save the five-year-old. If it were a five-year-old and Patrick Tomlinson in there, I’m still saving the five-year-old. Sorry, Pat. But does that mean Pat’s life has less value? Does that mean I could crush his skull and suck his brains out with a vacuum hose? No, it just means that my emotional impulse leads me to the child, not the pretentious pro-abortion dude who spends his time posing disingenuous hypotheticals.”

Tomlinson responded to Walsh’s response: “Oh Matty. If only I gave a shit what you think.”

Wait, what? Didn’t he specifically ASK pro-lifers to respond to his hypothetical?!

Walsh pithily responded with this.

Another tweeter added the cymbal crash with:

“It’s like watching Batman solve the Riddler’s puzzle, and the Riddler’s subsequent tantrum afterward.”

LOL!

Good!

Hillcrest abortion clinic has FINALLY been shut down.

2017_09 Hillcrest closed

In the past six years, the clinic was cited four times for health and safety violations that included everything from failing to maintain proper medical credentials to maintaining supplies that were 13 years old. Hillcrest also performed a number of abortions without having a nurse present and failed to perform mandated criminal background checks on staff.

The latest inspection yielded 44 PAGES of violations which the clinic failed to correct by the August 31st deadline. It doesn’t look like they have any plans to reopen, since they had the gas cut off for non-payment and the Pennsylvania Department of Health website now lists the dump as “closed.”

Civil Rights: Persons vs. Property

CIVIL RIGHTS unborn babies

Planned Parenthood head, Cecile Richards, says every person has the right to live. This may seem to be an odd statement given that PP kills more than 300,000 unborn babies a year.

The key point to understand here is that Richards doesn’t believe unborn babies deserve to be called “persons.” Science says they are alive and human, but they are classified under the law as PROPERTY.

Legal abortion is the ONLY so-called civil rights issue where a group of living, human Americans moved from being defined and protected as PERSONS under the law to being defined and disposable as PROPERTY under the law.

Slaves and women went the other way. Those were true civil rights advances. Legal abortion is not.

Hate racism? Tear down the statue of Margaret Sanger!

Margaret Sanger photo statue

The Progressive Left claims to want an honest discussion about America’s past.  Okay, let’s discuss Planned Parenthood’s revered founder, Margaret Sanger, who would have fit right in with the racist and anti-Semitic mob in Charlottesville last weekend.

As Jonathan van Maren explains, “I’ve been writing about the alt-right for over a year now, first detailing their anti-Semitism and later examining their pro-choice position on abortion.”  [Excerpts and link below.)

Richard Spencer is the neo-Nazi who actually coined the term “alt-right.” He runs the website AltRight.com where he has affirmed that the alt-right does not believe in human rights and, like Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), does believe in eugenics and the extermination of non-whites and the disabled.

Mr. Alt-Right Spencer says he was inspired by Lothrop Stoddard, a long-dead Klansman who thought that African Americans posed a threat to “white civilization” and wrote a white supremacist tome called The Rising Tide of Color.

Stoddard was also so beloved by the Nazis for his racial theories that he even met personally with Adolf Hitler. He also worked closely with Margaret Sanger who appointed him to the board of Planned Parenthood’s forerunner, the Nazi-friendly Birth Control League.

  • “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” – Margaret Sanger
  • A drastic curtailment of the birth rate at the source of the unfit, the diseased and the incompetent” was necessary, and to accomplish this “the birth control clinics all over the country are doing their utmost to reach the lower strata [minorities] of our population.” – Margaret Sanger
  • In her book The Pivot of Civilization, Sanger advocated for the elimination of those she considered to be “human weeds,” stating that she was calling “for the cessation of charity, for the segregation of morons, misfits, and maladjusted,” and additionally, the sterilization of “genetically inferior races.”

Planned Parenthood condemns the Alt-Right.  Yet Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading killer of black lives and regularly donates to and bestows awards on America’s Democrats.
