The Year-Long Temper Tantrum
It was just a year ago yesterday when the idyllic world of the progressives, dreams of total domination, a presidency that was theirs in perpetuity, and a new world order all paid for by somebody else came crashing down. In what may be an even bigger upset than Harry Truman defeating Thomas Dewey in 1948, an amateur politician, reality TV star, and billionaire hotel mogul named Donald Trump shocked the presumptive queen, Hillary Clinton, in stunning fashion.
This was her destiny. This is why she married a charming liar and took charge of silencing his sexual assault victims while “standing by her man,” because if she left him she had nothing. Being First Lady, a New York senator, and Secretary of State were just warmups for her real goal: president of the United States. The democrat party owed it to her.
After all, it was promised to her in 2008 until the party went head over heels for a street hustler from Chicago whose only qualification was that his daddy was African. She’d just have to wait her turn and spend her time scooping up hundreds of millions of dollars from companies and foreign countries who knew that when you want anything from the Clintons it’s going to cost you… big.
So confident of victory was she that she didn’t even bother even spending time in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Even after her people on the ground tried to warn her. THEN…….

Consider the alternative: How would Hillary have handled the hurricanes? Would the Clinton Foundation been put in charge of relief efforts in Puerto Rico? It worked so well in Haiti. Immigrants would surely be pouring over the border to grab a seat on the taxpayer gravy train. What kind of Supreme Court would we have? How many bodies would remain buried and uninvestigated?

President Trump has made 56 nominations thus far to the federal courts to fill the 166 current and upcoming vacancies on the bench, with more coming soon. Those nominees are the most consistently and provably conservative picks of any president since the courts became a political issue more than a half-century ago.

How many times has CNN told us an apple was a banana?
- CNN has repeatedly claimed that heavily regulated and difficult to obtain weapons are legal and easy to obtain.
- One month after President Trump made an Article 5 commitment to our NATO allies, CNN said he had never done it.
- CNN “reported” the non-fact that Republicans wanted to make rape and domestic violence pre-existing conditions in their Obamacare repeal bill. They even interviewed rape survivors so they could get their reactions to the fabrication.
- CNN spent hours pushing a four-byline story that alleged James Comey would publicly dispute the president’s claim that the former FBI director told him on three occasions that he was not under investigation. Comey did the opposite.
- CNN host Chris Cuomo, who has a law degree, said “Hate speech is excluded from protection” under the First Amendment. Hate speech is the REASON for the First Amendment. Nobody needs to be protected for warm cuddly speech!
- CNN Sally Kohn and her cohosts raised their hands in the air in a nod to the “hands up, don’t shoot” slogan and CNN pushed the video out on its social media channels. Yet nothing in the Michael Brown case, not the ballistic or the DNA evidence or the witness statements, backs up the contention that Brown was shot with his hands up.

CNN’s Absurd New Ad Campaign
“Facts are facts. They aren’t colored by emotion or bias. They are indisputable. There is no alternative to a fact. Facts explain things. What they are, how they happened. Facts are not interpretations. Once facts are established, opinions can be formed. And while opinions matter, they don’t change the facts. That’s why, at CNN, we start with the facts first.”
Unless, of course, the FACTS you’re starting with include things like:
- “Fetuses are living human beings.”
- “Human beings with vaginas are women.”
- “Human beings with penises are men.”
- “Women and blacks are equal under the law.”
- “The American economy has been booming since Trump was elected.”
Then, it’s all “facts be damned” with CNN.

Anger Addiction: It’s All About the Rush
The latest stupid thing Leftists are mad about really takes the cake.
“All women’s shoe emoji have high heels. This striking campaign wants to change that.”
It’s like Leftists can’t deal with winning OR losing. Feminism won; women are equal. Hillary lost; she’s not your president. Regardless, they’re all still mad.
Methinks the point of Leftism is not to solve problems or make the world a better place, but to pander to the need of immature adults to be perpetually angry.
Science says anger addiction is a real thing. In fact, rage can be positively exhilarating.
“Anger addiction starts in the brain’s limbic system, which is the seat of all emotions. This system also causes the secretion of dopamine, the pleasure hormone. …
“Dopamine is a naturally occurring pleasure chemical that is unleashed by your brain in response to or even in anticipation of fun stimulants like a vodka martini, a cigarette, sex, food, even a shopping spree. Since you like the way you feel, you learn to repeat the behavior and your brain participates big time. …
“The problem with chronic dopamine release is that with time your brain’s receptors get desensitized and bring little pleasure. A small amount of dopamine can only help you to feel temporarily ‘normal’ again. As with drugs, an angerholic will in turn crave a larger release of dopamine to feel the same ‘high’ and the only way to achieve this is to up the rage and act out more; either verbally or violently.

The Left Does Voters No Favors
Left-wing identity politics leaves voters totally ignorant.
My feeling is that
(a) they knee jerk to their “racist, sexist, homophobe” ad hominem attacks, because they can’t actually defend any of their policies with facts or logic, and
(b) voters who learn a thing or two quickly become skeptical of the Left’s whole schtick.
Take, for example, the young man who asked Dearest for GOP candidate yard signs for the upcoming local election today. He described himself as a “formerly lifelong Democrat.”
Video: Liberal college students don’t care much for Donald Trump’s new tax plan … unless of course they’re told that Bernie Sanders came up with it.
