Disclaimer: I know close to nothing about Islam. I just think these videos and the article linked below (which I used for the graphic) are worth your time. I do find it interesting (in a WTF kinda way) to note that Obamacrats seem to always go for the “don’t paint all Muslims with the terrorist brush” thing, while simultaneously tar-and-feathering all Republicans, all Tea Partiers, all Pro-Lifers, all 2d Amendment supporters, all supporters of traditional marriage, yada-yada-yada as “Extremist H8ers.”

The article linked below discusses how moderate Muslims interpret verse 8:12 of the Quran.
EXCERPT: “Some non-Muslims either through ignorance or Islam-bashing continue taking the verses of the Holy Quran out of context and its history to justify their false propaganda. In order to gain a proper understanding of many verses in the Holy Quran, it is important to understand and know the historic context of the revelations. So many revelations in the Holy Quran came down to provide guidance to Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) and the fellow Muslims based on what they were confronting at that time. The verse 8:12 is one such verse which is misinterpreted. …
“Imagine if the following Biblical paragraph is used in the same way the above verse is used. Muslims know that Jesus, peace be upon him, like all prophets, came with the message of peace to earth. However, a misquotation may change the whole meaning. Read: ’34 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn ” ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.’“ Matt 10:34-35

Exhibit A: The EPA office in Denver, Colorado is having trouble with “inappropriate bathroom behavior, including defecating in the hallway.” The EPA is a federal government agency. These people behaving like junior high boys are getting paid with tax dollars.
Exhibit B: The “gender assignment is evil” article quoted in my graphic below was published by Slate, which is NOT a satire site. It is an online “current affairs and culture magazine” owned by The Washington Post Company.

Yesterday, Mika Brzezinski tweeted that she was “one of the people” because she was … GASP! … riding in COACH.
MorningMika is the MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host who fell off her chair laughing at a video of Dick Cheney gasping for breath during a heart attack.
And in other news … the same people who regularly berate right-wingers for an alleged lack of diversity proudly displayed their own lily whiteness in another May 4, 2014 tweet.
If the left didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.

I truly believe that the Left is dragging souls into Hell; therefore, I feel I have a responsibility to God to reach them with the truth. In order to do this well, I must stay in prayer and remember always that God loves these lost sheep with a passion I cannot begin to fathom.
I must also strive to be the best communicator I can possibly be, which means knowing both my material and my audience. Angelaisms has a good piece up at Misfits about why the most effective arguments speak to both the heart and the mind.
I picked the graphic above, because I think it does this brilliantly.
EXCERPT:
It wasn’t that long ago that I was little more than a parrot for Progressive talking points. I was one of the low-information types that we frequently bemoan; I cheered on the Democrats because I believed that compassion lived on the Left, and I wanted to be aligned with compassion. My change in thinking came about not because someone laid out a pile of facts before me, or because I saw the sexiest pie chart ever. In fact, my husband had tried the “lay out the facts” method, and I had stubbornly refused to walk those paths of logic with him, because I had Smart People and Compassion and School on my side. All he had was Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, and everyone “knows” that both of those things are Stupid and Evil®. No, my change of mind was the direct result of seeing first-hand, in a no-pressure environment, that something I “knew” was a flat-out lie.
