Global Warming death to infidels

I could use some Global Warming right about now.

The Gore-ists who Believe man’s use of fossil fuels is damaging Earth’s climate love to portray themselves as the smart, pro-science people, but a recent study proves the real smarty pants are the Skeptics that the Believers portray as “anti-science.”

A recent study asked 2,000 respondents nine questions about where they thought scientists stand on climate science.

Skeptics got more answers right than Believers did.

One Believer yawned and said so what. Denies are just “choosing to reject those findings, usually for political reasons.”

Uhhhhh … no. When I began to read up on the climate issue, I was completely neutral on the topic. It was the science that convinced me Al Gore is a con artist and the people pushing for so-called climate regulations are faking their “science” to push a political agenda that is deeply anti-human.

Studying the climate issue actually drove me much further to the right politically, not the other way around.

Why do you hate science?

Left Wing Environmentalists: Watch out everyone, this is going to kill you!
Everyone: Oh no! What do we do?
LWE: Quick pay more taxes!
Everyone: OK, here you go!
LWE: Just kidding. That probably won’t kill you, but this will!
Everyone: AHHHH!
LWE: No, OK, not that. But this!
Everyone: Dear Lord, help us!
LWE: Alright, never mind, we dodged that bullet. But this new thing will definitely wipe us out!
Everyone: We’re so afraid!
LWE: Scratch that. It’s this. This will do it!
Everyone: Uh, OK, we’re starting to get a little skeptical –
LWE: WHY DO YOU HATE SCIENCE?

CLIMATE It changes

“Now, why might a person be skeptical about the theory that humans are causing dramatic shifts to the climate, and that these shifts will eventually kill us all? Have you ever thought about why someone might have these reservations, JM? Have you really taken the time to consider the reasons for this skepticism? Yeah, they’re morons, right, I get it, but have you determined that they’re morons because the media and people on Twitter told you they’re morons, or because you gave their case a fair hearing and came away with the impression that they have absolutely nothing even slightly coherent to say? I’m guessing it’s more the former, which makes you not necessarily a moron yourself, but an intellectually lazy chump who can be easily herded and exploited.”

ESA Comet Lander Fails to Anchor, Perched on Cliff, But the REAL Story Turns Out to be Criminal Sexism Among ESA Rocket Scientists

Philae
First appeared at the Blog of Monte Cristo.
The world’s first spacecraft to land on a comet has apparently become merely the first craft to ‘bounce’ off of a comet and settle into a precarious perch on a dark comet cliff where it’s batteries may not be able to recharge enough to keep it alive for more than a few days. The European Space Agency’s Rosetta mission has succeeded in depositing it’s lander, called Philae, on the surface of comet 67P/Churyumox-Gerasimenko Wednesday. The world awaits word on whether this spectacular accomplishment will yield precious data about the comet in coming days.  It may be that very little can be saved after the craft failed to anchor to the comet as planned.

But that has not kept the international community from finding something else gossip-worthy about the mission.  It seems that the wild shirt worn by a British member of the ESA operations team during the landing and a press interview has caused feminists everywhere to start shrieking uncontrollably.  I’m not sure why.  See one of the more insanity-inducing tweets here. Make sure you read the smug comments. They’re a scream.

Discovery Channel Under Fire for Man-Eating Snake Stunt

According to The Guardian today, over 20,000 people have complained about an upcoming DiscoverTV show (December 7) in which Paul Rosolie dons a “snake-proof suit” and allows himself to be eaten alive by a large anaconda snake.

Weather Channel Founder Shuts Down CNN’s Brian Stelter on Global Warming

Via SooperMexican and The Right Scoop: Click HERE to see the video.
CNN1
In this interview set up to make John Coleman look like a senile climate denier, with the current (adversarial) CEO of the Weather Channel coming on right afterwards to pummel him unopposed, the tables were turned. Coleman made a striking statement condemning global climate hysteria as unscientific.  Stelter was left sputtering about how “Scientists would disagree with you.” Coleman’s response, paraphrasing: “I AM a scientist, and you’re not.” When asked to respond to Obama’s claimed “97% consensus” on climate change, Coleman calmly explained that the government only gives money to researchers who will produce papers supporting the adopted theory, so that consensus is not surprising, but “bought and paid for,” nevertheless.

Name That Island!

Ooooooooh! I saw this once on Animal Planet. Papua New Guinea? Java? Nope. Manhattan Island, New York City, USA. Some call it the center of civilization. Some also say this People’s Climate March is all about science. Wait, I mean SCIENCE! Do you see any scientists in this picture? Neither do I. But these days, how could you tell?
PCM1
Hat tip to Marc Hilliker for the photo.

Wherever this island is, it’s certainly not a place that has a Constitution with a Bill of Rights protecting free speech.  That much is obvious, because this aspiring dictator, Robert Kennedy, Jr., was there …
RJKJ
And he just stated quite explicitly that he wants to put you in jail if you disagree with him on just about anything. He especially wants to put you in jail if you are a climate change “denier”, because you are guilty of “a criminal offense – and [you] ought to be serving time for it.”

Dr. ‘Fraudpants’ Mann’s Lawsuit Against Mark Steyn Generating Hilarity on Twitter

MannGraph2
Something significant happened Tuesday in the court case filed by Penn State’s Professor Michael E. Mann against notorious “climate denier” Mark Steyn. The very poorly thought-out lawsuit, perhaps encouraged by some of the worst lawyers in the world, was filed in order to silence Mr. Steyn from criticizing the “settled” climate science claims of Dr. Mann. I’ll let Mr. Steyn describe the new developments:

Ever since this tedious suit was launched by Doctor Fraudpants in defense of his global-warming hockey stick, Michael Mann’s supporters have insisted that it’s not, as I and my fellow defendants have insisted, about free speech. Instead, as they see it, it’s about science finally fighting back against a sustained assault by Koch-funded “denialists”.

A few weeks ago, you’ll recall, the ACLU, The Washington Post, NBC News, The Los Angeles Times and various other notorious right-wing deniers all filed amici briefs opposed to Michael Mann and his assault on free speech. They did this not because they have any great love for me, but because their antipathy to wackjob foreign blowhards is outweighed by their appreciation of the First Amendment – and an understanding of the damage a Mann victory would inflict on it.

Well, yesterday was the deadline, and not a single amicus brief was filed on behalf of Mann. Not one. So Michael Mann is taking a stand for science. But evidently science is disinclined to take a stand for Michael Mann. The self-appointed captain of the hockey team is playing solo.

But that’s not all that happened. In the wake of his lawsuit misfortunes, Dr. Mann decided to go public with a Twitter discussion entitled #askdrmann that was intended to demonstrate the overwhelming support for Mann’s climate change hysteria. That’s not the way it worked out. In fact, over the last two days, the Twitter traffic on that hashtag hit the ground running as a hilarious mock-fest against the good doctor, and it hasn’t let up. The exchange has been reported by Twitchy, and here are some examples:

Space Taxis and Muslims

Sept 16, 2014: NASA has awarded contracts to Boeing Co. and SpaceX to design and build space taxis to carry U.S. astronauts into orbit by 2017.  Since our last space shuttle was mothballed in 2011, we have been dependent on Russia for space rides.

2014_09 16 NASA awards contract for space taxis

“Most ambitious and exciting chapter in the history of NASA.”  Excuse me?!?!  Weren’t the people who took us to the MOON not HUMANS working for NASA?

1969 Moon landing

According to Wikipedia, the reason NASA has been reduced to thumbing rides from the people we beat to the moon is … BARACK OBAMA.

In November 2007, presidential candidate Obama announced his intention to delay NASA’s Constellation program by five years in order to fund education programs. There was concern that any delay would prolong the gap after the Space Shuttle’s retirement, when the US would be dependent on the Russian government for access to the International Space Station. Other presidential candidates, including Hillary Clinton, did not support the delay.

So, Obama got into office, stole shuttle development money from NASA to pay back the NEA for all the money they had shoveled into his campaign, and the American shuttle program went the way of the dodo.

Then, he told his new NASA chief to stop wasting time with all that science-y space stuff and get busy helping Muslims feel better about the fact that they have contributed nothing meaningful to scientific and technological research since the 11th century.

2010 NASA mission - Make Muslims feel good
