Each time, I was handed a consent form stating I understood that the procedure caused 1% of pregnancies to miscarry. Later on in the pregnancy, I asked, “What happens to this 1% with multiple procedures? Does it go up?” The staff member shrugged and said, “Nobody knows. There aren’t enough women who need so many to evaluate that.”

Well, they certainly can’t say this about kids who have had dozens of vaccine doses injected into them.

I thought it sounded fishy. Why would such a large bird be able to handle thinner air than a smaller bird? So I asked Grok. The behavior is called “mobbing.” As an allegory, the behavior works better as an illustration of communities working together to protect children from predators.

Acetaminophen, commonly sold under the brand name Tylenol and many others, has been considered the safest painkiller for pregnant women to manage fever, headache, and other pain. It’s also called paracetamol in other countries, including the United Kingdom.

The authors of the study analyzed the results of 46 studies on the painkiller that represents data from 100,000 participants, the researchers looked at a possible connection between pregnant women taking acetaminophen and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD.

They report the studies show that children who were exposed to the drug in utero “may be more likely to develop neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) including autism and ADHD.”

The case involved the son of a Nicaraguan diplomat who had assumed he was a citizen, because he was born here. When he applied for a passport, they told him he wasn’t eligible, because his father had had full diplomatic immunity. The court ruled that he is not a U.S. citizen, because IOW, he and his family had not been “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States at the time of his birth.

Being “subject to the jurisdiction” means being under the complete legal authority of the U.S. government, including its laws, courts, and regulations. In United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898), the Supreme Court ruled that the U.S.-born child of parents who were legal residents, though not citizens, was himself a citizen.

The question remains if those who are here illegally qualify as “subject to the jurisdiction” or not. IRS, anyone?

Uganda prefers they not be violent criminals. Since Dems insist Abrego Garcia isn’t a human trafficking, woman beating scumbag who works for MS-13, he could go to Uganda. Right?

HOUSING: I’ve been watching a YouTube of proud tiny home owners bragging their weensy little $200K house was such a bargain. I mean … seriously?!

We paid $42,000 for our little ranchburger back in 1984. Granted, it was a nothing special starter home, but it was sturdy, everything worked properly, and it was/is in a great neighborhood. It had 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a partially finished full basement. IOW, much larger than anything that qualifies as a tiny house. At 210.8% inflation, a house like ours should cost about $130,000. But according to the map above, the average home in New York currently costs $482,700, which suggests even a starter home is going for waaaay more than $130K.

I plugged the NYS average income ($86K) into the mortgage calculator linked below. It says someone with that income should be able to comfortably afford a house costing up to $287,739. Wow. No wonder so many young people and retirees are opting for tiny homes!

This all reminds me of something my Communication Arts professor at Cornell said once. He was talking about marriage counselors telling couples in trouble that they aren’t communicating. “They’re communicating just fine. It’s what they’re communicating that is the problem.”
