This Holy Week

“This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ — the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.

“Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.

“During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness — signaling that death does not have the final word.

“This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.

“As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience — even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.”

“May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.”

The SAVE Act of 2025

The House just passed The SAVE Act.

Democrats have been sending out scary messages claiming this would make it impossible for married women to vote, because our birth certificates don’t match our married names. This is a Big Fat Lie!

The SAVE Act specifies a long list of acceptable forms of “documentary proof of United States citizenship” that will be acceptable for a voter to register. The number one is a driver’s license. Note: Every state has a procedure for getting a new driver’s license after a legal name change.

Only four Democrats voted in support of the bill, including Rep. Henry Cuellar (TX), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA), Jared Golden (ME), and Ed Case (HI). The photo above provides inside information into why Dems don’t want to limit us to “one living citizen, one valid vote”

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, We ask today for an extra dose of courage. Whatever challenges we face, keep us strong in faith, trusting in Your power and Your love to carry us through. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BORDER: The Supreme Court has lifted a court order blocking President Trump from deporting Venezuelans under rarely used 1798 wartime law.

DOGE: The US African Development Foundation has terminated $51 million in grants, including: $229,296 for marketing 100% organic shea butter in Burkina Faso; $84,059 for a business incubator for spa & wellness entrepreneurs in Nigeria; $239,738 for marketing pineapple juice in Benin; $246,217 for mango drying facilities in the Ivory Coast; $99,566 to increase yogurt production in Uganda; $48,406 for a WhatsApp marketing chatbot in Kenya; and $50,000 to train farmers to grow dragonfruit in Senegal.

I saw some comments about these being worthy causes. The problem is that, when you’re in debt, your extra money belongs to your creditors. It is not yours to give away, regardless of how worthy the cause. The USA is trillions of dollars in debt.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, We ask you for the wisdom to know what You want us to say, the courage to speak when what You want said may be unpopular, and the serenity to keep our pie holes shut when now is not Your time. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

ELECTION INTEGRITY: Thanks to years of work by Judicial Watch, more than five million ineligible voter registrations have been removed from the rolls in California, Colorado, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Other voter roll clean-up lawsuits by Judicial Watch continue in Illinois, Oregon, and California.

FIGHT: [9:10] – “Fight is the backstage story of bloodsport politics in its rawest form—the clawing, backstabbing, and rabble-rousing that drove Donald Trump into the White House and Democrats into the wilderness. At every turn, the combatants went for the jugular, whether they were facing down rivals in the other party or their own.”

IGNORANCE: Grandpa is rolling in his grave that his offspring think Trump is a fascist. Grandpa also knew how to spell “fascist.” But hey, kudos for the cute reference to Harry Potter.

J6 COMMITTEE: Biden gave them all a presidential pardon. If they did everything right, why did they need to be pardoned?

JOBS: During Biden’s years, the jobs reports were consistently lower than the predictions. Then, later on, they had to revise their reported numbers down even more, because they had inflated the reports. The opposite is now true. The newest March jobs report exceeded expectations by more than 50%. And they didn’t even need to fudge the numbers to do it.

SCOTUS: The Supremes have granted Trump permission to continue withholding $250 million in Department of Education grants that would fund diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

GRAMMY NOTES: My heart breaks for this little one. My mother couldn’t get 3 seats together on a flight, so decided I (age 11) should sit alone with a stranger while she enjoyed the company of her favorite child (age 21). The stranger spilled boiling hot coffee on me and said nothing except to demand a refill from the attendant. I am 70 now and this memory still hurts. I can’t imagine how this little girl felt, riding all alone in the BAGGAGE CAR! I can only hope she had a kind attendant like the one who put cold water on my burned leg and helped me feel better.
