HONEYMOON: It looks like the initial enthusiasm for Biden’s replacement is over.

KOPY KAT KAMALA: CLICK https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1822462941603516631 [:16] to hear, side by side, how she stole Trump’s policy for no tax on “hospitility” workers. Trump posted on Truth Social that she was only copying him for political purposes. There is no way a President Harris would actually do it. “Kamala has proposed the LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN HISTORY.”

FWEEDOM: It’s not the first time she has plagiarized materials. In her 2010 book “Smart on Crime” and also her 2019 book “The Truths We Hold: An American Journey”, Harris recounts remembering going to a civil rights rally with her parents. When she became upset, her mother asked her, “Baby, what do you want? What do you need?” She allegedly replied, “Fweedom.”

It’s uncanny how Harris’s story mirrors a tale recounted by Martin Luther King, Jr. in a 1965 Playboy interview: “I never will forget a moment in Birmingham when a white policeman accosted a little Negro girl, seven or eight years old, who was walking in a demonstration with her mother. ‘What do you want?’ the policeman asked her gruffly, and the little girl looked him straight in the eye and answered, ‘Fee-dom.’ She couldn’t even pronounce it, but she knew. It was beautiful! Many times when I have been in sorely trying situations, the memory of that little one has come into my mind, and has buoyed me.

KAMA KAMELEON: The NY Post Editorial Board has published an Op Ed entitled “Kamala Harris is being recast as a centrist Dem — but the radical truth is plain to see.” In it, they note how the lapdog media has been helping Dems hide Harris’ far left record. “A centrist Democrat has a better chance of winning the election, so a centrist she shall be.” They then list “some of Harris’ beliefs that most Americans disagree with, and the press is so desperate to hide.

Now, she is claiming that, as president, she would not ban fracking. But during the 2020 presidential campaign, she repeatedly said she was in favor of banning both fracking and offshore drilling. And in 2016, Harris, as California attorney general, she sued the Obama administration over fracking approvals off the West Coast.

Now, she claims she no longer supports the enormously unpopular idea of a single-payer healthcare system. But in 2020, when asked if people should be allowed to keep their private health insurance, she said no. “Let’s eliminate all of that. Let’s move on.”

KAMALAFLAGE: James Bovard posted an opinion piece at the NY Post entitled, “Kamalaflage: Dems race to expunge the evidence of Harris’ leftist history.” In it, he notes that Harris has heartily condemned any effort “to erase and even rewrite the ugly parts of our history.” However, the “ugly parts” of her own record are exempt. TIME magazine (cover above) clearly is on board with this 1984-esque effort.

Bovard also notes, “Harris plainly ascended to the nomination thanks to a de facto coup of Democratic Party kingpins and donors. Yet The Washington Post on Sunday hailed those machinations as ‘the most spectacular transformation in recent American political history, a flashbang midsummer swap at the top of the presidential ticket.’

COVID TIM: CLICK https://x.com/joma_gc/status/1821896524671992296 to hear Walz explain that he left his mom to fend for herself while recovering from heart surgery, because if he had not isolated her, “that front page story would have gone on day after day after day.” Seriously? He was more worried about his image in the press than about his own mother’s well-being?

Why couldn’t he have arranged for some live-in help? Recovering from heart surgery is rough! Who was there making sure she remembered to eat and take her meds on time? Nobody. Who was there to help her in and out of bed, on and off the toilet? Nobody. Who made sure she was getting washed every day or hadn’t fallen? Nobody.

DEMOCRAT MACHINE: The week after Biden dropped out of the presidential race, the black pastors of more than 50 churches hyped Kamala Harris during their worship services using the same talking points. CLICK https://x.com/cottinghamcarl/status/1822001484520943744 [6:53] to hear supercut. This is just one part of the machine that Trump is running against.

KAMALA: She has finally proposed an actual policy. During her rally in Las Vegas on August 10, 2024, Kamala plugged the idea of eliminating taxes on tips for people who work in the service industry, something Donald Trump proposed on June 9, 2024.

MINNESOTA SNITCHES: CLICK https://x.com/Acyn/status/1820954258168279222 [1:06] to hear a segment of the VP hopeful’s stump speech in which he brags about how, in Minnesota, we “respect our neighbors and the personal choices that they make. Even if we don’t make the same choice for ourselves, there’s a golden rule: Mind your own damn business!”

His so-called respect only extends to protecting the rights of adults to brutalize children through abortion and medicalized gender transition. It went out the window when it came to protecting the rights of adults to make personal choices during a (so-called) pandemic. For example, he imposed a mandate on all state employees to to take an experimental MRNA COVID shot.

CLICK https://x.com/ShivenChabria/status/1820894023726592437 [:33] to hear the answering machine message on the hotline say, “The information you leave is considered public information,” it continued. “At the tone, please leave the following information: your name, your callback number, how the stay-at-home order is being violated, and where the stay-at-home order was violated.”

The hotline generated thousands of reports – against people playing basketball, walking their dogs, or attending church, Inexplicably, Walz kept the hotline operational until June 2022.

2024: CLICK https://x.com/JohnLeFevre/status/1822081323944550489 [2:35] to hear Greg Gutfeld explain … in all seriousness … how Trump’s presser yesterday showed everyone the number one reason everyone should want him in the White House.

BAR EXAM: During his presser, Trump mentioned that Harris failed the bar exam. Fact check: She did fail to pass the first time. I don’t like Kamala or her policies, but there are two reasons I can’t care about the bar exam. One is that, when my super-smart niece took the California bar exam and passed the first time, there was a big brouhaha in the family, because half the people who take it fail on their first try. The other is my hubby, who also failed the New York State architecture exam, another notoriously difficult exam. Like my niece, those who pass on their first try are lauded for this accomplishment. He’s an excellent architect.

HATE: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ll3IusVluPc to hear a black woman report on how her “love, peace, and unity” Democrat friends have responded to her deciding to support Trump.

KAMALA: [10:11] – My favorite comment on this video – “A strong and confident woman WOULD talk to the press. Period.”

Fox News reports (video embedded) on Harris talking very briefly with reporters next to a screaming jet for less than 2 minutes. She said absolutely nothing of consequence … much like her campaign website @ https://kamalaharris.com/.

Despite having been the presumptive Democrat nominee for President of the United States for weeks, she has yet to post a single policy position. There are donations buttons, one page bios for her and Walz, a page to sign up to volunteer, an events calendar, and a store.

LOGIC: I saw this on the internet – “When there is an argument, one or both of the people lack some important basic information, so it’s important to figure out what it is.”

Actually, I more often find that we are operating from different unproven basic assumptions. Like when we studied geometry in high school. Point, line, and plane were merely defined; they were never proven to exist. We just started with them as our basic assumptions and moved through our proofs to show what was true and what was untrue. BUT our conclusions were true ONLY in so far as the basic assumptions were true.

When I reach an impasse with someone who is willing to discuss a subject logically, I find it very helpful to back track to find what our basic assumptions are. Most of the time, they are so different that, unless we can find some other common ground, we must agree to disagree.

MILITARY: [3:17] – At Trump’s presser yesterday, he said that he knew the 13 families of the American “soldiers” who were killed at Abbey Gate in Kabul in 2021. The Lamestreamers jeered because, you know, they weren’t all “soldiers.

This is true. Eleven were Marines. One was a Sailor. One was a Soldier.

Never mind Trump’s actual point, which was that he had taken the time to get to know those families, unlike Biden who was so bored by the whole thing that he kept looking at his watch while their caskets came off the plane.

Still, someone does need to teach Trump that, when speaking of multiples like this, you’re supposed to use “troops” or “service members.”

BTW, I was told by the fruit-of-my-womb Marine that she should be referred to as a “warrior.” The video above says otherwise, but I do what my military kids tell me. They’re all trained in hand-to-hand and armed combat, thank you very much.

Dem Lies

It beats me how these people sleep at night. [17:23]

The Dems are trying to present Tim Walz as a down-to-earth, middle-of-the-roader … a mid-Western version of foksy Joe Biden. His record as governor of Minnesota shows a very different picture.

True down-to-earth, middle-of-the-road mid-Westerners go to church and Walz is no exception. But, like Obama, his church – Pilgrim Lutheran Church in St. Paul – is “a trainwreck of heresy and blasphemy.” Some samples from Sunday sermons:

  • The culture of individualism and nationalism, personal status and private ownership, are antithetical to the Divine Life longing to be in us.
  • (We must) renounce the aspirations in Psalm 8 to rule over creation or imagine that God has set it beneath our feet. What may have been innocent words of praise 3000 years ago, became an ecocidal delusion in the last centuries and decades.”
  • “It’s Trinity Sunday and I must confess, I’m not much interested in reflecting on the sacred mystery of the godhead: three persons in one divinity, whatever that means… Like you, I am torn over the racial injustice, the roots of white supremacy.”

Roughly 80% of the deaths in Walz’s state happened in long-term care settings.

Last year, “Tampon Tim” signed a bill that went into effect Jan. 1, mandating requiring schools to provide menstrual products — including pads, tampons and other items — “in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12.” State Republican lawmakers tried, but failed to get the bill amended to apply only to girls’ bathrooms.

CLICK https://x.com/TrumpWarRoom/status/1821201183714746667 [:26] to hear a top Harris surrogate brag about Walz’s military service, while claiming she was “not aware of any military service that J.D. Vance has ever served.

FACT CHECK: Vance enlisted in the Marine Corps and served on Active Duty from 2003 to 2007. During that time, he deployed to Iraq for six months. Let’s look at the difference between Vance’s four years Active Duty time in the Marine Corps and Walz’s 24 years in the Army Reserves.

VANCE: Active Duty troops work for a branch of the military full time, living on or very close to the base to which they are assigned. They do get occasional three-day week-ends, time off for certain holidays (depending on what they’re doing), and block leaves after a deployment, so we can reasonably deduct something like 120 days, leaving approximately 1,340 days active service.

WALZ: Reserve units are free to pursue civilian lives, working and living where they choose. Their military service is limited to one weekend per month, plus two weeks per year for training. For Walz that came to about 912 days active service, plus 240 or so additional for one 8-month deployment to a non-combat zone.

WAR SERVICE: Both Active and Reserve units can be deployed for war or natural disaster relief at any time. The big difference with the two here is that, when Vance was deployed, he went. When Walz was asked to deploy, he resigned from the service.

I can empathize with what Joel Berry said (above). I once knew an Army officer who was forced to go to Cornell for a Master’s degree just before the unit she had commanded for several years deployed to Iraq. I won’t detail the level of emotional distress it caused, because it’s not my business to share. But it was bad.

Dems are also trying to make a case that, because Vance was a combat correspondent, he wasn’t “really” a “war veteran.” Sorry, but no. He served in a war zone. Period. Look at the stats in the graphic above. There is an entire category for military deaths that were not the result of combat. These include deaths from bombings, massacres, disease, suicide, and murder. Both my daughters served in non-combat jobs. One of them came within a hair’s bredth of being blown to kingdom come by a suicide bomber. The other (a Marine combat correspondent like Vance) has had multiple surgeries for a disease she picked up while deployed that will affect her for the rest of her life.

And let’s just NOT forget who is actually at the top of the Democrat ticket. CLICK https://x.com/mazemoore/status/1820541467271524439 [:14] to hear Kamala summarize her political philosophy.

BIDENOMICS: On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average posted a more than 1,000-point loss. On Wednesday, it went even lower.

BOEING: On Tuesday, federal investigators opened a two-day hearing into the door that blew off a Boeing 737 Max in January. Boeing factory workers who testified said they were pressured to work too fast and asked to perform jobs that they weren’t qualified for, including working on the door that blew off the Alaska Airlines jet. One said, Boeing’s safety culture is “garbage. Nobody’s accountable.”

CATHOLIC: Pray for our nation. [1:07]

CELEBRITIES: Please feel free to smack me upside the head if I forget my policy of never reporting what these people say … unless it’s to praise Jesus or our nation. Then, yeah. You might hear about it!

OLYMPICS: Paris 2024 is such a freakin’ joke. After beating the CRAP out of real female boxers, these two pathetic excuses will be going for the Gold. And they might both win, since they’re in different weight classes.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: Remember back in 2015 when undercover pro-lifers released video of conversations with Planned Parenthood execs and employees laughing about how they were illegally selling aborted baby body parts? All of the video was shot in public settings where California law says people have no right to expect their words or actions are private.

Do you remember back in 2016 when the two leaders of that effort, David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, were charged with 15 felonies for allegedly violating these scumbags’ rights to privacy?

Do you remember how their homes and offices were raided by armed SWAT teams?

Do you remember that it was then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris who ordered these raids and prosecutions? She did so just two weeks after she met with Planned Parenthood officials, and after the organization had specifically requested the computers used for the undercover videos to be seized. Harris has long maintained close ties with Planned Parenthood and has made promoting abortion a central point of her campaign.

David Daleiden says, “Kamala Harris weaponized her office and weaponized the law in a completely unprecedented way to try to discriminate against free speech that her powerful political backers disagreed with and that they wanted to suppress because the evidence was so damning for them.”

Litigation is still ongoing in California’s case against Daleiden and Merritt, though about half of the charges have been dismissed. CLICK https://x.com/daviddaleiden/status/1821709089371742592 [6:04] and https://x.com/daviddaleiden/status/1821526483581768011 [10:00] to see clips of the offending videos … if you have the stomach for it. I watched them in 2015. I’m not going to do it again.

GRAMMY NOTES: An off-campus friend was waiting for me to eat my meal plan breakfast in a cafeteria that was down a flight of stairs. IOW, she was standing above the munching crowds. When I met up with her, she told me that, when I bowed my head to say grace, everyone else stopped eating to stare at me. I hope it made at least one person stop and think about their eternal destiny.

2024: [15:09] – Vance is very, very articulate. It’s so cool that he’s a former Marine. A SMART former Marine. My brother and my daughter are also both former Marines, as well as war veterans. They both have Master’s degrees.

2025: CLICK https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1820544999584666038 [:54] to hear U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) tell us exactly what Dems plan to do if voters presume to boot them out of power.

ABORTION: The Clinton-era FACE Act prohibits “violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services.” It was supposed to not only protect abortion clinics, but also pro-life pregnancy centers and places of religious worship.

Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, 70% of the abortion-related threats of violence in the United States have been against pro-life groups. There have been at least 90 attacks on pro-life groups and pregnancy centers and approximately 276 attacks on Catholic churches. Yet, only 24% of the FACE Act cases Biden’s DOJ has prosecuted have been against the perpetrators of this violence.

Seventy-six percent has been against peaceful pro-life protests outside abortion clinics. Several of these cases have involved armed FBI raids on pro-life activists’ homes, denial of basic medical care for defendants, and long jail sentences of elderly protesters, including an 87-year-old communist concentration camp survivor.

OLYMPICS: If it’s all about making losers feelz good, then we should allow failed female athletes to self-identify as whatever age, weight, or handicap they think can get them into a competition they’re sure to win.

WALZ: On Saturday September 23, 1995, Timothy James Walz, current Governor of Minnesota, was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Walz was charged with DUI and booked into the Dawes County Jail, he was later released on bond.

At the time of his arrest, Walz was working as a high school teacher and football coach in Nebraska. According to the police report, on September 23, 1995, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the officer recorded Walz going 96 mph in a 55 mph zone.

I don’t like Walz or his policies. But in this instance, I believe he did the right thing, took his punishment, and used the experience to educate his students about how stupid it is to drive while intoxicated.

GRAMMY NOTES: Papa Buzz has been called up for fire fighting duty. He’ll be gone at least 30 days. PLEASE pray he’ll be back in time to attend Buzz’s and Bunny’s Confirmation in September! ♡

2024: CLICK https://x.com/MAGAIncWarRoom/status/1820847540515877006 [:37] to hear J.D. Vance’s pithy summation of Kamala’s VP pick. “They make an interesting tag team because, of course, Tim Walz allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the summer of 2020 and the few who got caught, Kamala Harris helped bail them out of jail.” There will be memes!

BIDENOMICS: According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report, 1.2 million fewer American workers and 1.3 million more foreign-born workers in the workforce as compared to last year.

CATHOLIC: “Forgiving someone does not mean tolerating their behavior. It doesn’t mean to forget how he hurt you and don’t let him hurt you again. Forgiveness means coming to terms with what happened. It means recognizing your wounds, giving you permission to feel pain, and understanding that pain no longer controls you.

It means letting go of pain and resistance so that you can heal and move forward. Forgiveness is a gift to oneself. It frees you from the past and allows you to live in the present. When you forgive yourself and others, you are truly free. To forgive means to set a prisoner free and discover that it was you.

~ Father Pio (now St. Pio of Pietrelcina)

COMMUNISM: In 1972, I went on a tour to Russia. Our tour guide said she wanted to stay home with her 3 yo. The State said she wasn’t allowed. They gave her two choices of jobs. She picked tour guide, because she thought she’d hate it less than the other choice.

LIFE: CLICK https://x.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1820919364398301446 [:10] to hear Walz brag about how pro-abortion he is.

In 2015, Minnesota enacted the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act” which requires that “An infant who is born alive shall be fully recognized as a human person, and accorded immediate protection under the law. All reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice, including the compilation of appropriate medical records, shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to care for the infant who is born alive. “

In 2019, Walz was elected Governor of Minnesota. In 2021, five infants were born alive during botched abortions. None of them received any medical care.

OLYMPICS: I don’t think it’s any coincidence that some photographer caught the AMAZING photo above! Read below to hear the back story.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is full of anti-Christian hypocrites. They claim that “the Games have strict rules and focus on total neutrality” to strictly enforce Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter. “No type of political, religious, or racial demonstration or propaganda is permitted in any Olympic venue.”

The IOC also told female Muslim athletes they were not allowed to wear hijab during competitions. And, although athletes are not banned from displaying or talking about their faith within the Olympic village or outside the venues, members of the French team were told no hijab, period.

Then they put gays and trannies front and center, featuring them as torch runners and allowing/praising their blasphemous parody of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper during the Opening Ceremony. They also brag about their “gender equity”, which only refers to allowing males to beat the s**t out of females, not to forcing female Muslims to choose between their religion and their sport.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games also forced Brazilian surfer João Chianca to remove an image of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue from his surfboard. The statue is not just a religious image, but also a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. It was even voted one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. But it’s Jesus, so the IOC said it had to go.

Chainca complied. CLICK https://www.facebook.com/reel/1035853121220656 to see how Chianca chose to honor the One True Lord! God honored him back by allowing a photographer to perfectly capture the moment.

WALZ: [12:16] – Stolen valor and cowardice in one liberal package.

WALZ’S “VP”: CLICK https://x.com/greg_price11/status/1820860171574464772 [:37] to hear Tim Walz’s Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan tell us that allowing surgical castration of minors is “life-affirming health care” while wearing the shirt shown above. The lack of self-awareness on the left is mind boggling.

WMCX: [2:07] – “Wheelz” invented WCMS (wheelchair motocross). I am so glad I’m not his mom. She’s amazing, cheering him on the way she does. There are more short clips at the link below.

FAUXTUS: August 2, 2024: Biden bragged, “I cured the economy.”

August 5, 2024 – Stock markets took a nose dive and Biden’s economic advisor announced he was resigning to go work on Kamala’s campaign.

MOUNT RUSHMORE: Sculptor Gutzon Borglum chose George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln for his massive monument, because he thought they led the country during important times and made decisions that shaped the future of the country.

We all know about Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln. It seems we don’t study Teddy Roosevelt as much, so here are a few factoids. As our 26th POTUS, Teddy Roosevelt …

  1. negotiated the construction of the Panama Canal that links the west to the east;
  2. fought against corporate monopoly, ensuring that the common American was protected from greedy capitalists;
  3. established national parks, forests, and monuments to preserve America’s natural resources;
  4. was awarded the 1906 Nobel Peace Prize for his successful efforts to end the Russo-Japanese War.

He also once gave a 50-page speech, in its entirety, beginning first by saying, “Friends, I shall ask you to be as quiet as possible. I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot.

Then he unbuttoned his coat to show the crowd his blood-stained shirt and laughed. “It takes more than that to kill a bull moose.”

WALZ: Vice President Kamala Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. This is the most radical ticket in American history.

WOMEN’S SPORTS: CLICK (or not) https://x.com/KnownHeretic/status/1820247609279451616 to hear IOC spokes twerp babble about it’s okay now for men to beat up women at the Olympics, because “We did away with sex tests in the last century.”

Fact check: From 1968 to 1999, for more than 30 years, every woman who competed in the Olympics in every single sport had to take a chromosome test and get a card verifying that they were female.

GRAMMY NOTES: This good woman was a rock, the kind of person who lived holiness with her feet on the ground. So many times when our family was hanging by a thread, she said or did just the right thing to keep us going. I love this photo. That little smirk is what she did right before she bust out with her great laugh. I look forward to spending days with her in eternity, just hanging out. I want to hear her laugh again.

Crossing the Rubicon

Note: The text below is by David Marcus, co-founder of the payment platform Lightspark. I interspersed it with graphics to make it easier and more fun to read.

“I am crossing the Rubicon and backing the Republican Party and President Trump.

“Many — including a former version of myself — get trapped in a mental framework that becomes their identity and prevents them from radically evolving their thinking with new facts and information. I finally broke free from it.

“My journey has been a gradual political 180 from where I stood in every previous election. It has been an eye-opening process of disenchantment, zero-basing lifelong beliefs, and rebuilding from there.

“In 2017, a good friend enlisted me to pitch the DNC to raise $100M from Silicon Valley founders and executives. The aim was to use these funds and know-how to build a CRM and tech platform to prevent a repeat of Hillary Clinton’s inadequate, outdated 2016 campaign. We met with DNC leadership, who told us we could raise that money, but it would have to go to the general fund; a single-digit percentage would then be allocated to tech. In the wake of one of their most shocking failures, they didn’t want the help.

“The next series of realizations began in 2019 while I was at Meta, right after we announced the Libra white paper. I testified before the Senate and the House and subsequently spent significant time in DC, engaging with lawmakers, cabinet members, regulators, and two White House administrations. At the time, I still believed the mainstream idea that Democrats were all about serving the People. However, I was shocked to learn that, for the most part, Republicans cared more deeply about their constituents, while Democrats, in my experience, cared more about government power and control. This is my observation on balance, with many stories to back it up. I also found that more Republicans wanted to understand our project’s goals and took the time to learn about the risks of censoring payments and controlling the network. I found myself remarkably aligned with them.

“Then COVID came, revealing more. While I don’t subscribe to the most malicious vaccine conspiracy theories, I do take offense at the censorship machine put in place to hide the origin of the virus from the NIH-funded Wuhan lab and all dissenting voices on vaccinations and lockdowns. At that time, I fully appreciated why Republicans value freedom of speech and preventing censorship.

“This trend of spinning and manufacturing a parallel reality to serve the Dem agenda, solidified by complicit mainstream media, hit home with the Hunter Biden laptop story, the coordinated vilification of President Trump and his followers, and President Biden’s cognitive decline — depriving voters of a voice in a proper primary. These examples displayed the hubris of the current Dem leadership. You must think the American people are fools to believe the spin on these issues. I despise this elite vs. general population ideology viscerally.

“This version of the Democratic Party is sidelining moderates and centrists and has adopted an increasingly leftist ideology. This drift to the left has dictated policies from which I’ve found myself estranged.

“On the domestic front, there has been a total departure from the core American value system of meritocracy, an extreme and weaponized DEI agenda, an open door to massive illegal immigration, and a once-fringe narrative, now mainstream within the party, of vilifying success. This shift is also causing us to fall behind due to an anti-innovation regulatory climate, notably on crypto and soon AI — two non-linear technological breakthroughs that will likely determine tomorrow’s leading countries.

“On foreign policy, the administration is exacerbating tensions with Russia through an aggressive NATO expansion narrative focused on Ukraine and prolonging an unwinnable war. This is costing American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars, the world hundreds of thousands of lives, depleting the U.S. military arsenal and risking World War III. On Iran, this administration is continuing a misguided Obama-era plan to bring Iran closer to the West by unfreezing Trump-era sanctions, thus giving the Mollahs’ regime the ability to fund terrorism and pursue its anti-America, anti-Israel, and anti-Jewish agenda. The withdrawal from Afghanistan was also handled disastrously. We’re leaving a door open for China to invade Taiwan by coming across as weak. Most importantly to me, concerning Israel, the administration is enabling Iran to fund Hamas and Hezbollah, restraining Israel in its fight against its enemies, thus prolonging another conflict, which is costing more lives on both sides and allowing unprecedented levels of antisemitism to rise at home.

“I believe we need a President who is unequivocally pro: America, the Constitution, business, Bitcoin/crypto, innovation, Israel, small government, legal immigration, free speech, meritocracy, and common sense — and anti: regulatory proliferation, illegal immigration, unjust wars, Iran’s current regime, and domestic groups that oppose American values. These issues are central to President Trump’s platform.

“Naturally, I disagree with President Trump and the GOP on some issues, particularly women’s reproductive rights. While I’ve come to learn that extreme views exist in both parties, I firmly believe that women should have the unalienable right to make their own decisions on this polarizing topic. President Trump confirmed he was against a national abortion ban and supported the Supreme Court’s decision on maintaining access to mifepristone, which was reassuring and a sign that the party was moving closer to the center.

“It’s impossible to close this post without mentioning President Trump’s recent assassination attempt. The courage and resolve he displayed seconds after being hit by a bullet was awe-inspiring for his followers and detractors alike. This was a man, however imperfect, who, at that moment, incarnated the American spirit in the most vivid way, starting to bring a split nation together.

“Some claim that reelecting President Trump will bring our democracy to its knees. However, the alternative — having unelected individuals with this much power and no accountability run our government coupled with four more years of bad policies at home and abroad — might present a more significant threat. Neither will likely change in a Harris administration and could potentially worsen.

“In this pivotal moment, confronted with the choices we have, I am endorsing and supporting a return to a Republican administration in 2025.”

CENSORSHIP: A U.S. District court has upheld the first and fourteen amendment rights of three students at Clovis Community College in Fresno, CA. The school’s policy, which forbade displaying materials containing language or themes deemed “inappropriate” or “offensive”, was used to rip down anticommunist posters put up by the students’ campus chapter of Young Americans for Freedom (YAF).

All the parties in the lawsuit consented. It cost taxpayers $330,000 to defend ripping down the posters … $250,000 to cover the students’ legal expenses, plus $20,000 each in damages to the three students and the YAF.

In addition, the district agrees to conduct annual First Amendment training sessions for all administrators going forward.

SCREEN USE: A study entitled “Functional connectivity changes in the brain of adolescents with internet addiction: A systematic literature review of imaging studies” was published on June 4, 2024, in PLOS Ment Health. It reports on a meta analysis of studies looking into the effects of internet addiction (IA) on developing brains.

Basically, they found that it is bad news. Individuals with IA (or the associated Internet Gaming Disorder” have similar impulse control issues as those with gambling and substance addictions. These display as an inability to stop the behavior despite its negative effects on their physical, psychological, social, academic, and professional well-being.

The study notes that “adolescence is a crucial developmental stage during which people go through significant changes in their biology, cognition, and personalities … which creates risk of psychopathological vulnerability.

IOW, excessive screen use by adolescents is likely to cause actual changes in their brains.

And here’s a scary thought. A 2023 Statista survey found that U.S. teenagers spent an average of 4.8 hours on social media platforms every day, with girls spending an average of 5.3 hours compared to 4.4 hours for boys. That’s the average.

VATICAN: It only took a week for top dog Catholics to finally get a round tuit and, even then, it was pretty bland stuff.

In a prestigious event where the whole world comes together around common values, there should not be allusions ridiculing the religious convictions of many people. Freedom of expression, which is obviously not called into question, finds its limit in respect for others.
