TRAVEL BANS: President Trump has signed a declaration banning all travel from 12 countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. President Trump says in the proclamation, “I must act to protect the national security and national interest of the United States and its people.” In addition to outright bans, the proclamation also calls for heightened restrictions on visitors from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela. The new travel protocols go into effect at 12:01 am Monday.

GRAMMY NOTES: Years ago, we had to get public assistance for a brief period. We received a new monthly check a couple of days after Dearest had landed a new job, so I took the check down to the welfare office to return the money. I guess they were short-staffed, because only one window was open and the line was very long. When I was finally in the #2 spot, the lady ahead of me told the beleaguered staff worker that she was there for the same reason I was. Upon hearing she’d have to wait until someone from upstairs told the worker how to handle it, the woman flipped out and, cussing at the poor worker, wadded up the check and threw it over the counter. The poor worker looked like she was going to cry, so I tried to be as nice as possible, telling her I was FINE with waiting while she called upstairs. A few minutes later, the answer came down from on high. With a big grin, the worker told me, “You can keep the check.”

We’re all going to have to learn how to tell AI from reality.

FTC: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) voted 3-0 Thursday to dismiss a lawsuit against PepsiCo that was filed in the final days of the Biden administration. ECONOMICS: It’s an odd take, them bitching that he is enriching his friends when one of his closest buddies, Elon Musk, is not only working at DOGE for free, but also losing $$ big time as the Left’s attacks on Tesla damage sales and stock prices.

EDUCATION: In other news, Trump has signed an executive order ending federal funding of the allegedly educational, but mostly left-biased NPR and PBS.

HARRIS: On Thursday, nominations were announced for the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards. Among them was an “Outstanding Editing” nod to the interview “60 Minutes” did with Kamala Harris during the campaign.

In case you’ve forgotten, this was the interview during which CBS chose to edit out a terrible “word salad” answer Harris had given and substitute a more coherent one she had given to a different question. This would also be the interview that has Trump suing CBS News and the one that inspired the show’s executive producer to quit.

In addition, he takes hundreds of thousands in “bonuses” and “other reportable compensation.” Over the last seven years, these extras totaled $940,054. FEC filings reveal that the Harris campaign shoveled half a million into NAN’s coffers this past fall. One can only guess how much of that ends up in Sharpton’s pockets.

In addition, the “Reverend” Sharpton is paid somewhere between $324,000 and $1.5 million by MSNBC to host his 60 minute week-end show, “Politics Nation.” The show, which he has been doing since 2011, draws an average of 500,000 viewers per week, though the number dropped to half that after the election. Ad Fontes Media rates it “Hyper Partisan – Left.”

PELOSI: Nancy Pelosi fell down a marble staircase in front of all the lawmakers and dignitaries during an official visit at the Grand Duke’s palace in Luxembourg. She suffered a fractured hip and has been hospitalized. The photo above was taken in front of said stairs shortly before the accident. Methinks an 84 year old woman should not be wearing barely there stilettos, especially not while traversing slippery stairs. And what’s with the death grip she’s got on the guy next to her? GRAMMY NOTES: This reminds me of the day when our pooch was demanding to go outside. I told him the weather was awful, but he didn’t care. So I opened the door to show him. KAMALA: Reports that Kamala Harris paid $1 million for Oprah town hall are false. Turns out she spent $2.5 million.

LITERALLY HITLER: Scott Jennings noted the raging hypocrisy of Democrats and their lapdogs in the Left Stream Media. “It’s amazing that ‘literally Hitler’ is getting all these meeting requests. What it tells me is that all the rhetoric that came from the left, from the Democrats, from The White House, from Kamala Harris and everyone else before the election. Vladimir Putin has said in the past that this would constitute an act of war by NATO.

This morning, CNBC reported, “Russia says Ukraine attacked it using U.S.-made missiles.”

In response, Putin signed an “updated nuclear doctrine” authorizing the use of nuclear weapons in the event of a mass drone strike or aggression against Belarus.

Donald Trump said, “I’m calling on Putin and Zelensky to meet with me and end this terrible war. We’re closer to nuclear WWIII than ever. The killing must stop!“

OREGON: After the driver of a Columbia River Fire & Rescue ambulance plowed into a cyclist, the crew scooped up their victim and took him to the hospital. In addition to the loss of his bicycle, the 71-year-old man suffered a broken nose and multiple lacerations across his body. The hospital charged him tens of thousands for patching him up. Rather than apologizing and replacing his bicycle, the ambulance company sent him a bill for $1,862. The man is suing. I hope he gets every penny.

TOLERANCE: Angry whack-a-doodle Harris women are posting videos of themselves taking vows of chastity, shaving their heads, getting blue heart tattoos, encouraging one another to get hysterectomies, and … get this … sharing poison recipes. Best comment I saw: “This is a mix of mental illness and demonic possession.”

TRUMP ECONOMY: He won’t take over for two months, but the optimism among investors has already caused this past week to hit the best in 2024.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Democrats are busily ‘splaining how Trump managed to win the electoral college, the popular vote, and all of the swing states. But it’s not in an effort to actually understand or learn from their loss. Here’s a small sampling. Try not to get dumber as you read them. Kamala lost because … of Obama … she isn’t a white man … she ain’t black enough … Americans are soft, stupid, privileged babies … the election was rigged … Elon Musk’s Starlink did something … Russia cheated again … of Netanyahu’s traitor network … Ann Selzer (an obscure Iowa pollster) galvanized Republicans into going to the polls to prove her wrong … there are too many gays in the Democrat consultant class … men aren’t reasonable or rational … the internet was censored … the working class is largely stupid, uneducated, and suspectable to propaganda.

P.S., from Grammy Grammar – This “largely stupid, uneducated” Trump voter would like to point out that “suspectable” means “that may be suspected.” In the last statement in the list above, it modifies “the working class” not “propaganda.” It says, “the working class may be suspected”, leaving “to propaganda” just dangling at the end. The word this “highly educated” and totally “not” stupid Kamala supporter wanted was “suspicious” and it’s suspicious “of”, not “to.”

P.P.S., Keep on doing what you’re doing, Dems. We like winning!! Or emigrate to a “better” nation. That works too. Reuters reports that Google searches for “Move to Canada,” “Move to New Zealand,” and “Move to Australia” have surged by thousands of percentage points since Trump won.

GRAMMY NOTES: Oh wow!! The Mascots received this wonderful piece of history from a fellow Post Crosser and it even arrived yesterday, right on the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall! I have a chunk of the wall. I remember being in a department store and seeing them for sale. We were so broke back then, but I thought about the German teacher at our high school who had actually risked her life to climb that evil wall and knowing I’d probably never have the chance again blew three whole dollars (lots of money for us then!) on it. But left-wing activists decided this was an assault on their right to cheat in a swing state, so the county’s Dem district attorney started an official investigation. Multiple agents have since raided his home and his office. The warrants list of items to be seized: “All personal computers. Mobile communication devices, or digital devices owned, utilized and/or possessed” by the mayor, plus conduct personal searches of the mayor and his wife. They also searched the couple’s vehicles and took the wife’s phone. Even more outrageous, the warrants authorized seizure of all of Diny’s communications going back to April 1 — before he was even elected.

Y’all know as well as I do that if a Democrat had done this, the box would have simply been returned to the sidewalk with no harm done. But, you know, if you’re the horrible person voters decided should replace the far left Progressive incumbent as mayor, you’d better believe they’ll find some reason to make your life a living hell. Cuz Democrats suck.
