DAILY PRAYER: Ave Maria, gratia plena. Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus. Sancta Maria mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

CALIFORNIA: A fast-moving wildfire erupted in the Southern California coastal city of Pacific Palisades, about 20 miles west of Los Angeles, destroying homes in one of the nation’s wealthiest communities and forcing 30,000 residents to evacuate.

Comments on X: “Due to environmental laws, California doesn’t remove dead brush and trees so places like this become a massive fire hazard waiting to go up in flames.” Also, “Even worse, the Los Angeles fire hydrants are OUT OF WATER because the county REFUSED to refill reservoirs. Also, the Mayor did ZERO prep despite the advanced warning of winds and fire risk. This is EXACTLY what happened on Maui!”

CLIMATE HOAX: [1:14] – Carbon is the stuff of life. Before mankind started digging up fossil fuels and releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, almost all of the available carbon on the planet had been used and buried. The planet was literally on the brink of starving to death for a lack of carbon. Far from harming the planet, our fossil fuel use has given Earth a new lease on life.

Naturally, the Green New Deal “Save the Planet” morons thought it was essential to spend $281,000,000 of our tax dollars to capture and permanently store the carbon dioxide being emitted by a plant that turns corn into ethanol. Thankfully, for the good of the planet, the moronic project only managed to capture 10% to 12% of the plant’s output. Not so thankfully, they wasted $281 million dollars!

DEI: Meet the Fire Chief who did not refill Los Angeles County’s reservoirs. LA’s first lesbian Fire Chief’s says that her #1 priority is “creating, supporting, and promoting … diversity, inclusion, and equity.”

LAKEN RILEY: The newly seated House of Representatives passed its first bill, The Laken Riley Act, with bipartisan support. Zero Republicans opposed. The act proposes that feds be required to detain illegal immigrants found guilty of theft-related crimes. It also would allow states to sue the Department of Homeland Security for harm caused to their citizens because of illegal immigration. The bill is named after a nursing student who was killed by an illegal immigrant while jogging on the University of Georgia’s campus.

MASCOTS: Bootz cried when he heard Daisey had died. He said he wished he could see her one more time. So Mama got out their photo albums so they could remember the fun times they had with her. Then, Mama made a page in her journal. I thought the lady in the photo was her until I zoomed in and realized it was me. We look a lot alike! 🙂

NATIONAL ARCHIVES: Colleen Shogan, the current Archivist of the United States, once wrote that anti-intellectual Republican presidents won because their stupid rhetoric allowed them to connect with the stupid American people. [7:58] – Trump has announced he will be firing Colleen Shogan who famously weaponized the National Archives against him. According to whistleblowers, she has a history of abusive, retaliatory, and partisan conduct in the work place. Cuz, tolerance!

NEW YORK: An appeals court in New York has rejected President-elect Donald Trump’s attempt to halt proceedings in his business records case, which is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 10. Trump has asked SCOTUS to rule, citing presidential immunity concerns and potential harm to the institution of the presidency.

OH, CANADA! CLICK https://x.com/bennyjohnson/status/1876306722433990837 to see one group’s reaction to Trudeau’s retirement announcement. My Canadian cousin keeps sending me emails proclaiming her home U.S.’s 51st state. I’ve been pondering this and I think it could/would/should be ten states. Canada has ten provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

OKLAHOMA: CLICK https://x.com/MAGAVoice/status/1876601823886455242 [1:50] to hear how one state is returning education to its roots.

TRUMP: [1:12:2 5] – Yesterday, The Donald gave more press conference in one afternoon than Slow Joe did in all of his four years. No note cards. No scripted questions. CLICK https://x.com/greg_price11/status/1876678817084801471 [:44] to hear him answer just one of the many questions.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Thank You for this reminder that You really get what we’re going through. Have mercy on us as we struggle with our humanity and keep on loving us into Your kingdom. Amen.

BACK THE BLUE: Or they will not back you.

FAUXTUS: Biden’s minders flipped a totally pointless bird at Trump supporters in his last days by signing an executive order banning offshore drilling in large areas of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Trump will no doubt rescind the stupid thing in 13 days.

The NY Post reports the lame jerks also created a ban on new non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters, a move they are so proud of that they did not announce it. Dunno how the Post learned of it. And I don’t know if it’s as easy to undo as the drilling ban.

If these morons actually cared about the environment, they wouldn’t be wasting paper on this nonsense.

META: Meta is ending its fact-checking program in the United States. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “It’s time to get back to our roots around free expression on Facebook and Instagram.” The fact-checkers “have become too politically biased and have destroyed more trust than they created, especially in the U.S.”

Meta is switching to a community notes system, similar to Elon Musk-owned social media platform X. Community notes are based on feedback from users. Notes that receive a certain number of votes across people with different ideologies are displayed under posts.

NEW YORK: On Jan. 3, New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan’s Jan. 3 decision to reject Trump’s request to dismiss the witch hunt New York Dems used to keep him sitting in a court room for weeks during campaign season. Instead, Merchan set Jan.10 for passing sentence. In his order, Merchan said he “a sentence of unconditional discharge appears to be the most viable solution to ensure finality and allow the Defendant to pursue his appellate options.”

As we learned with Hunter Biden’s pre-sentencing pardon, the felony convictions against Trump would become finalized with sentencing. On Jan. 10, Trump and his lawyers filed an appeal to stop the sentencing, hoping to trigger an automatic stay, or pause, in the proceedings.

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said. “The Supreme Court’s historic decision on Immunity, the state constitution of New York, and other established legal precedent mandate that this meritless hoax be immediately dismissed.” The alleged crimes all involve hush money payments that Trump made to shut up scandal mongers looking to make a quick buck.

NOKO: Fat Little Rocketman has banned all forms of sausage. People caught cooking or selling hotdogs could find themselves arrested for treason and sentenced to hard labor. Reports have also emerged from the hermit nation that people who get divorced face one to six months in labor camps for their “crimes” against the state.

TEBOW: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZfwTnlPt2TI to hear an extraordinary true story.

TURN THE PAGE: Fox News contributor Joe Concha discusses President Biden’s ‘lecture’ to reporters at a White House event and his decision to award Medals of Freedom to the likes of Hillary Clinton and George Soros. [3:13] – I must give credit to the Dems in Congress for confirming the 2024 electoral vote without unseemly drama. Kamala held up well, though I did think she looked like she might burst into tears at one point. I’m curious how many tranquilizers she needed to get through that lengthy and humiliating event.

GRAMMY NOTES: Thankfully, Daisey passed in her sleep during the night … in her own cozy bed and in her own time.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Please help us all to strive for eternal life with You! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

119thCONGRESS: The members of the 119th Congress took their oaths of office yesterday. CLICK https://x.com/_johnnymaga/status/1875241394329239895 [:13] to hear VP Kamala Harris screw up the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mike Johnson was re-elected as Speaker of the House on the first ballot, with every Republican except Thomas Massie voting for him and every Democrat voting for Hakeem Jeffries. CLICK https://x.com/greg_price11/status/1875273293814755391 [:05] to hear Jeffries declare the Democrats’ commitment to “fart hard for the freedom to vote.”

On January 6, the House and Senate will hold a joint session to count electoral votes and certify the 2024 United States presidential election. Pray with us that it will go smoothly.

BOOTYJUDGE: On December 31, Biden’s Secretary of Transportation tweeted, “I’m confident that a century from now, future Americans will look back on the work we’ve done—much as we look at the Hoover Dam—and see how the Biden-Harris Administration’s “Big Deal” for infrastructure made big things possible.”

This is the man who was handed 7.5 billion dollars to build EV charging stations and only got seven (7 … as in six plus one) built.

CATHOLIC: To all those who claim the Catholic Church is only pro-birth, not pro-life, your argument doesn’t wash.

FAUXTUS: In one of his (many) FUs to the American people, Joe Biden is awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, to Hillary Clinton and George Soros and 16 other people, half of whom aren’t even American citizens.

NEW YORK: New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan has ordered soon-to-be-POTUS Donald Trump to appear either in person or virtually for sentencing on Jan. 10. CLICK https://x.com/ABCNewsLive/status/1875289736278851731 [1:18] for a news report.

Trump Communications Director Steven Cheung responded to Merchan’s order by calling it “a direct violation of the Supreme Court’s Immunity decision and other longstanding jurisprudence” and that “President Trump will continue fighting against these hoaxes until they are dead.”

USA: [4:11] – “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

GRAMMY NOTES: My cousin-in-law sent me a photo of how she is using the Christmas card I made for her. I can’t imagine a higher honor! <3<3<3

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, let us never become so discouraged by our failures that we stop coming back to You for forgiveness and a fresh start. We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BORDER: Remember when Biden took office and halted construction of border wall that was already paid for? He left piles and piles of expensive border wall units sitting around, then put them up for auction for pennies on the dollar. Lone Star State Attorney General Ken Paxton sued to block the sales and won.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND: A whistle blowing vicar says Anglican priests throughout England were urged to modify “problematic” Advent hymns and Christmas carols that might be possibly offensive to non-Christian. One example of offense was affirming that Jesus Christ is the true Messiah. Why am I not surprised to learn that, over the past decade, more than 400 Anglican churches in Britain have shut down due to a lack of attendance and support from the local community?

COVID-19: The Wall Street Journal has done some actual journalism, revealing what those of us who were paying attention knew early in 2020. That is, that the virus was engineered in and escaped from the Wuhan lab in China.

The WSJ further revealed that three scientists from the National Center for Medical Intelligence – John Hardham, Robert Cutlip and Jean-Paul Chretien – reported this fact to the FBI and were told to shut up about it.

It might be news to the WSJ’s readers that all information about the lab leak origin was omitted from presidential briefings. But it wasn’t surprising to those of us who were paying attention. Real journalists told us years ago that the research funding had Tony Fauci’s sticky fingers all over it.

FAUXTUS: That’s about 52 years worth of vacation days for your average American. And when Slow Joe was in the office, he rarely worked a full day and never worked overtime.

GALLUP: The number of Americans who are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. has dropped to 19%. I‘m wondering if the 20% who are not satisfied with our direction, yet approve of Biden performance are mad about Trump’s win.

GEORGIA: A judge in Georgia has issued a ruling forcing Fani Willis to testify under oath before the State Senate to answer for the crimes she committed in the Trump “lawfare” case.

MASCULINITY: “I say embrace masculinity. We need more and more boys to grow up to be strong fathers.” – Kevin Sorbo. CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/k24wFad9IB8 to see one guy who has the good dad thing nailed. We have a similarly good dad here at Casa Hyphen where, years ago, a certain member of the tribe lost her door privileges for a time.

SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN: I’ve heard this used to be a respectable magazine.

SINSICK: William (34) and Zachary (36) Zulock both pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, sexual exploitation of their two adopted sons. The gay couple, who lived in Atlanta, have each been sentenced to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole. DA Randy McGinley said, “These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else.

GRAMMY NOTES: I want to share my friend Hans’ first podcast @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LA325997PgM. He recently retired (again) and, Hans being Hans, came up with yet another new thing to keep him busy. We’ve been friends since high school where we shared the school’s morning announcement duties for “WIHS.” Since then, Hans has managed a radio station, owned and operated an ambulance business, trained and used bloodhounds for search and rescue operations, taught me to rappel, became a forest ranger, met and married the love of his life with whom he adopted and raised 4 kids, supported her through becoming a Lutheran pastor, wrote and published a popular series of Christian science-fantasy novels (see “The Gewellyn Chronicles” by Hans Erdman at Amazon) while his beloved was undergoing cancer treatment, retired from the forest service and started a new career in security at a local college, engaged in a number of bicycle mission trips, and served as a bicycling EMT at numerous sporting events. Phew!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us all to focus on the central point of Christmas, which is to welcome Jesus into our hearts and lives. Making the holidays special is important, but it isn’t the reason for the season. Guide us in finding a good balance. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2024: The Electoral College voted on Tuesday, formalizing President-elect Donald Trump’s 312 vote victory over Vice President Kamala Harris’ 226. A U.S. presidential candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win. Trump also won the popular vote with 77.2 million votes compared to Harris’ 75 million votes.

CONGRESS: On Wednesday, Trump, incoming administration nominees, and House Republicans succeeded in getting the House to scrap a 1,547-page, year-end, pork-loaded spending bill. Among other things, it would have given massive pay raises for Congress members, allowed them to avoid Obamacare, shield corrupt Jan. 6 House committee members like Liz Cheney from congressional subpoenas, and extend the life of a censorship agency within the State Department.

Noting that the giveaways were bribes to get Schumer and Biden to approve aid to farmers and disaster relief, Trump said, “Republicans must GET SMART and TOUGH. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless we give them everything they want, then CALL THEIR BLUFF.”

FAUXTUS: A new Marquette poll likely cements Joe Biden’s status as least popular president ever. At the end of his first (and blessedly only ever) term, he scored a -32 (Approve: 34% minus Disapprove: 66%). By comparison, at the end of Trump’s first term, he scored a +6 (Approve: 53% minus Disapprove: 47%).

GEORGIA: This morning, the Georgia Court of Appeals found in favor of Donald Trump’s suit to disqualify the biased and corrupt Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the election-related criminal case against him and about a dozen codefendants.

J6: On Tuesday, House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight released a new report that concludes the events of J6 were preventable. It also outlines why Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney should be investigated for witness tampering while serving as Vice Chair of the January 6 Select Committee. Cheney was one of the two NeverTrump Republicans that Pelosi agreed to allow on her corrupt kangaroo committee.

DAILY PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I pray for Your protection. Surround us with Your love and care. Shield us from all harm. Guard our hearts and minds. Keep us safe from accidents and illness. Help us to trust in Your provision and to know that You are with us in all things. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

2024: [5:01] – Satan’s post-election presser.

DEI: This week, a U.S. appeals ruled the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) “intruded into territory far outside its ordinary domain” when it attempted to impose a DEI rule for the boards of directors of companies listed on Nasdaq.

According to the rule, companies listed on the exchange had have “at least one director who self-identifies as a female” and at least one who “self-identifies as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Asian, Native American or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, two or more races or ethnicities, or as LGBTQ+.”

DUKE LACROSSE: CLICK https://x.com/kcjohnson9/status/1867355689259049024 [:37] to hear Crystal Mangum confess she lied when she accused team members of raping her. Mangum has been in prison since 2013 for the murder of her boyfriend. This case was very personal for me. Tony Cullen was my baby brother. You can read about him at the third link below.

FBI: Trump’s response to the resignation of Director Wray – “The resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice. I just don’t know what happened to him. We will now restore the Rule of Law for all Americans. Under the leadership of Christopher Wray, the FBI illegally raided my home, without cause, worked diligently on illegally impeaching and indicting me, and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America. They have used their vast powers to threaten and destroy many innocent Americans, some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them.”

GIVING: Oscar Morris and his nonprofit, Free Canes for Veterans, recycles Christmas trees into free canes for veterans. The Florida native, who retired from the Navy eight years ago, says the trees make lightweight, strong, and beautiful canes. In addition, he puts the veteran’s military history on his or her cane. These include the branch of service, rank, units, and medals or ribbons. To date, Morris and his organization have made more than 1,000 canes for veterans, and seeing the effect it has had on his fellow veterans has made it all worth it. “They’re tough guys, women, and they don’t show any emotion. … It’s been a personal challenge of mine to make them cry when they get their cane, and I can squeeze a tear out of the toughest veteran.

DOJ IG REPORT: The DOJ Inspector General has released a report that says the FBI had 26 confidential human sources in the crowd on January 6. Only three were assigned by the FBI to be present for the event and none were authorized or directed by the bureau to break the law or encourage others to commit illegal acts. During the event, four of these people entered the Capitol Building, while another 13 entered the restricted area outside. One wonders if these 17 people were charged and jailed for actions that put so many others behind bars.

J6: The FBI testified before Congress that they couldn’t identify the person who planted two pipe bombs during the Jan. 6 incident, because the phone data was corrupted. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., the chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, says they contacted every major cell carrier about their data. They all responded and said none of it was corrupted. Nor were they ever notified by the FBI about issues accessing the data. “This contradictory testimony raises some serious questions about the status of the investigation into the pipe bomber and about why the case remains unsolved nearly four years later.”

MILITARY: I still have 2 kids still in uniform. It is such a load off my mind to know Trump will soon be (practically already is!) their CiC! Please pray with us that his choice of a warrior to lead the Pentagon will receive swift and uncontroversial approval from the new Senate.

GRAMMY NOTES: I got the bright idea to harvest all the tutorials I did during the year I was studying watercolor with Emily Olsen at Watercolor Mastery and make greeting cards. I ended up with more than 50 cards! Then I got a hankering for a rubber stamp of the logo my sil designed for my old jewelry business to make the backs look fancy. Joey still had the layered files and was able to quickly remove the colored parts and send me a file I could use to order a stamp. I am SO happy with how cool my cards look!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, help us all to humbly ask You each day where we have hurt others through our thoughts, words, and deeds. Also show us where we failed to be “Jesus with skin on” and failed to help through our silence and inaction. And, Lord, after You show us, grant us the graces we need to repent and do better tomorrow. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ARGENTINA: After more than a century of out-of-control spending, President Javier Milei’s major governmental cuts have resulted in a surplus. “The deficit was the root of all our evils—without it, there’s no debt, no emission, no inflation.” January 20 can not come soon enough.

ANTI-SEMITISM: It’s not the first time something like this has happened to Acker. In May, an extremist showed up to his home at 4:40 a.m. and hung a note with a list of demands. Then, a few weeks later, four anti-Israel extremists vandalized Acker’s law firm office with anti-Israel messages. Acker says he will not back down. “Divestment [from Israel] is not something any one of us is considering.”

BUTLER: A House task force has determined that the near-fatal attempt on President-elect Donald Trump’s life at a Butler, Pennsylvania, campaign rally was enabled by “preexisting conditions and leadership failures.” within the U.S. Secret Service. The task force also noted that the Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service, Department of Justice, FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) all failed to provide full cooperation with the inquiry. It’s past time to take out the trash.

CNN: A judge has ruled that Zachary Young’s defamation lawsuit may continue. During the disastrous 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal, Young, a U.S. Navy veteran, helped facilitate evacuations. Reporting on his efforts, CNN’s Jake Tapper claimed Young “was ‘exploiting’ ‘desperate Afghans’ on a ‘black market.‘”

Young says he used “his unique skillset and relationships to assist U.S. corporations and charities that wanted to safely and swiftly extract certain persons from Afghanistan.” He never took a single penny from any Afghan and everything he did was legal.

Judge Henry noted that CNN’s Alex Marquardt had already pitched his story before even talking to Young using what Henry described as “explosive” terms like “price gouging,” “extortion,” “shadowy black market,” and “fraud,” to preemptively malign Young. Agreeing that Young “did not do anything criminal or illegal”, the judge is allowing his suit seeking punitive damages to go to trial.

In other news, CNN finished No. 17 among cable stations during primetime last week. Despite breaking news that included the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the ensuing manhunt for his killer, more of Trump’s Cabinet picks, and a rebel alliance taking over Syria … the Cable News Network’s viewership was smaller than the Food Network, the History channel, HGTV, and even MSNBC.

And in even other news, a new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans support Trump and his transition moves. CLICK https://x.com/TimRunsHisMouth/status/1866930422212329956 [:44] to see the report.

DOJ: The DOJ’s Inspector General issued a new report in which he reveals that the Department of Justice spied on Kash Patel as well as two House members who were working on the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee. The report says the DOJ also asked the courts to help hide their actions. Little wonder the swampers are panicked about Patel taking charge of the FBI.

In other news, the FBI’s current director, Christopher Wray, has announced he will be resigning as of Inauguration Day.

SAN DIEGO: In a 3-1 vote, the County Board of Supervisors has passed a resolution declaring San Diego County a “super sanctuary” for illegal aliens. CLICK https://x.com/jim_desmond/status/1866611711022862592 [3:15] to hear details from the one guy who voted No. Check out the chick to his right who does not want to listen to him. One commenter noted this is merely a resolution and that the county sheriff plans to ignore it.

TRUMP: President-elect Trump has been named TIME magazine’s Person of the Year. He also had that honor in 2016. Wokies are shrieking as per usual.

UK: The Brits have joined the smart nations in banning puberty blockers for minors with gender dysphoria, because they pose “an unacceptable safety risk.” Sadly, in the U.S., a number of courts have blocked state legislation aimed at protecting minors from the trans mind virus. Please pray with me that the U.S. Supreme Court will side with sanity in United States v. Skrmetti.

USPS: CLICK https://x.com/GuntherEagleman/status/1866612617131049181 [:51] to see the current Postmaster General behave like a toddler at a congressional oversight hearing. Under his leadership, the USPS lost $10 billion in 2024.

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, I pray for your healing power for ourselves, our friends, and our families today. Touch our bodies and relieve areas of illness or pain. Give us and our healthcare providers and caregivers the wisdom and knowledge they need to do Your will in our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2024: Some of the races for seats in 119th Congress’ House of Representatives were so close, they had to have recounts. They finally concluded on Dec. 4, nearly one month after Election Day. Final tally … Republicans will have a slim majority of just three seats.

CANADA: Saskatchewan is the first Canadian province to officially declare December as Christian Heritage Month and Calgary, Alberta’s largest city, will do the same. British Columbia refused, saying that, despite the fact that other faiths get entire months of their own, Christians should be satisfied with Christmas.

DEA: Trump nominated Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff Chad Chronister to lead the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. A torrent of conservative opposition over his COVID record ensued. The most famous issue was his arrest of a pastor for hosting church services in March 2020. Chronister has withdrawn his name.

DEI: Following a federal civil rights complaint by America First Legal (AFL), Southwest Airlines has canceled all of its DEI employment practices.

DOJ: In response to her refusal to comply with a FOIA request from Judicial Watch, District Attorney Fani Willis has declared her in default and ordered her to release all communications with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the January 6th Committee within five days. These documents could show there was coordinated (and illegal) effort to take out the leading Republican presidential nominee and chief rival of the current Democratic administration.

NASA: Trump’s choice to head up NASA is SpaceX’s Jared Isaacman. Isaacman is an actual astronaut who completed the first private spacewalk and commanded Inspiration4, a private spaceflight using @SpaceX‘s Crew Dragon. Also, earlier this year he completed the first private spacewalk.

NOTRE DAME: President Donald Trump has announced he will attend the grand reopening of Notre Dame de Paris this coming weekend. Pope Francis will not.

POMPEII: This road is more than 2,000 years old. It was buried in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Those small white stones meticulously embedded into the pavement helped keep the streets safe for night travelers by reflecting available light. Ingenious!

DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, I come before You, acknowledging the times when I have allowed fear to dictate my actions and decisions. I ask for Your forgiveness and the courage to step out in faith, trusting in Your guidance and provision. Help me to release the grip of fear and embrace the abundant life You have prepared for me. Grant me the confidence to pursue Your will for my life, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

APPLE: [1:50] – Benny Johnson said on his podcast that this ad and the one by Volvo below are evidence that we have won the cultural war. I pray it is so. But Satan isn’t going to pack up and leave the country, so keep on praying.

BORDER: [2:41] – I’d say “unbelievable” except it’s Biden’s America. Thank You, God, it won’t be so for much longer!!

JAGUAR: CLICK https://x.com/Jaguar/status/1858800846646948155 [:30] to see the Jaguar ad that is so awful, it cost them 10% of their market share. As for blaming the customers … did they learn nothing from Bud Lite?

JOE ROGAN: The most popular podcaster in the world made a good argument that this election was the first in history where the elites did not control the media. When asked why this is, Rogan replied, “Because of us, because of podcasts. Because of social media, because of X.”

When Elon Musk heard that MSNBC might be for sale, he asked, “How much is it?” Joe Rogan tweeted, “If you buy MSNBC I would like Rachael Maddow’s job,”

KAMALA: ITA. It’s similar to why I believe in weddings, not elopement. If a couple can’t get through planning a ceremony and a party for their relatives and friends, then they are not ready for marriage.

MINNESOTA: Democrats suck. CLICK https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1861848407582654967 [1:05] to hear about how they tried to cheat their way into a state house majority. The investigation has shown that the 21 missing mail-in ballots were likely disposed of. Let me guess which party they were for …

VOLVO: CLICK https://x.com/cabot_phillips/status/1859620031572607249 [3:49] to see the antithesis of the Jaguar ad. Pro-life, pro-family, grab-a-tissue sentimental. And, unlike the Jaguar ad, it actually has a car in it.

WEAPONIZING GOVERNMENT: A report by the American Principles Project (APP), says nearly 70% of Biden’s Department of Education’s (ED) enforcement actions targeted private Christian colleges and trade schools. These institutions serve only 10% of the post-secondary student population in the U.S.

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, please give me all the physical, emotional, and mental strength I will need to persevere through today’s difficulties. And grant me too the spiritual strength I will need to trust in Your power, goodness, and love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

BORDER: [8:03] – Within days of Trump telling Mexico to protect our southern border or else, the Mexican president assured him that migrant caravans are no longer heading our way. I heard a news anchor refer to him as “the president” … cuz he kinda already is.

BOSTON: On November 18, Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu announced her sanctuary city will not cooperate with the looming mass deportation operation from the incoming Trump administration. On November 19, Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, pointed out that it’s a felony to harbor illegal aliens and that he’d be happy to arrest her and anybody else who hinders ICE. On November 20, Mayo Wu said, “My comments have never been directed towards the federal government or anyone except for our own community members.” Point. Set. Match.

Tom Homan’s strong statements represent more of Trump’s “peace through strength” at work. Homan has the perfect temperament for this battle.

DEATH THREATS: [6:08] – The FBI says it is aware of swatting incidents and bomb threats targeting Trump nominees and appointees. “We are working with our law enforcement partners,” the FBI’s statement said. “We take all potential threats seriously, and as always, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement.

FAUCI: Since Tony Fauci retired, taxpayers have shelled out millions providing U.S. marshals to guard him, a private chauffeur to tote him here and there, law enforcement equipment, and more. His salary and pension were and continue to be upwards of $400,000 per year. (What happened to retiring at half pay?) The worst of it all is that not only is his net worth $12.5 million, but also that it increased by a whopping $5 million between the years 2019 and 2021. You remember those years, right? When the rest of us were locked in our homes, anxiously watching our savings and pantries empty out? Tony Fauci is a private citizen. Let him pay his own bills.

IRS: They want Congress to write them a $20 billion check. Vivek Ramaswamy tweeted: “Thousands of IRS employees & contractors literally *aren’t paying their own taxes.* @SenJoniErnst audited the IRS & found they owed nearly $50 million. The government-wide number of employee unpaid taxes is over $1.5 billion. The hypocrisy is insane.

MENTAL HEALTH: TDS [3:46] – A practicing therapist has an interesting article at American Mind (linked below). An excerpt to whet your appetite: “I speak from some experience, having spent multiple hours per day over the past few weeks hearing from clients about the damage inflicted upon their psyches ‘by the Trump win.’ This is their account of things. My own opinion, however, is that someone has subjected these kids to psychic trauma. But it wasn’t Donald Trump. …

“Of course, we will laugh at the libs of TikTok shaving their heads and screaming in their cars. … But we should not laugh at those who break their sobriety, or plunge into isolation because of the Trump victory. They are truly sick, and ideological bad actors have preyed off their desperation for personal clout, terrorizing them with confected fears and then discarding them to suffer the psychological consequences.

There’s a mental health crisis in this country—on this we can all agree. But the peddlers of Trump Derangement Syndrome don’t seem to care that their cynical, apocalyptic politics bear no small part of the blame.”

MISSION: Cal Zastrow spent Thanksgiving in prison as part of a six-month prison sentence over a peaceful protest at a Tennessee abortion facility in 2021. He was convicted by the Biden DOJ earlier this year for violating the FACE Act by praying, singing hymns, and sitting in front of the door to the entrance of an abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He says he is “on a big mission trip here,” keeping busy praying, reading his Bible, and teaching his fellow inmates about Christianity. “This prison holds almost 2,300 men and their need to hear about Jesus, their need for that is greater than my need for liberty. And so I’m here on a DOJ-sponsored mission trip.

THANKSGIVING: This is what Dearest and I prayed for on Wednesday night. ❤

TOLERANCE: CLICK https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1861174417679593753 to see what one of the disappointed wokies cooked up for her MAGA relatives. These people need prayer.

VATICAN MAIL: [6:30] – This is really interesting! I have some wonderful Vatican stamps in my collection. 🙂

VAXXXINES: CLICK https://x.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1861189891985678696 [12:15] to hear an undercover video of an NIH division head admit that the ‘rona jabs weren’t properly tested and probably aren’t safe, that he personally doesn’t get the jab, that ‘rona mandate requirements were based on fake science, and that Fauci and NAIAD probably funded the Wuhan research. He seems like a good-hearted guy. I feel for people like him who work for corruptocrats.

GRAMMY NOTES: My doctor has ordered vocal rest. I am learning things about myself. Like, that I talk to myself (a lot). Also that I don’t actually need to say every single thing that pops into my head.
