UK CONSIDERING REPLACING THANKSGIVING TURKEY WITH CANADA GOOSE
I included this link as an excuse to tell you of some advice an old goose hunter gave me on how to properly cook a Canada goose.(They’re not called Canadian geese.)
1.clean goose properly
2.fill body cavity with aromatic vegetables and herbs
3.place in roasting pan
4.preheat oven to 375
5.place goose in oven
6.put brick alongside it on rack
7.allow about 20min./lb for roasting
8.when done,take goose out of oven and throw away
9.eat the brick-it tastes better

I was debating whether or not to travel to Iowa for Palin’s Tea Party speech. General consensus on C4P is that she won’t announce that day for a variety of reasons. I think I may stay in my a/c and watch online if there is that option. Anyone else considering going?
