    The Left’s “concern” for voter rights always rings very hollow with me. When the Bush-Gore election results were disputed, Democrats did everything in their power to prevent absentee military ballots from being counted, because the military overwhelmingly votes … Republican!

    And let us not forget it was Democrats who passed Jim Crow laws to try and prevent blacks from voting and when they couldn’t stop them that way, they put on white hoods and lynched blacks trying to vote, because at THAT time, blacks went with Lincoln’s party … Republican!

    Chunk. ::snort:: Pete, you and my brother are soul mates! Back when tree huggers were apoplectic about the ozone, he’d tell them he did what he could for that hole, went out every morning on his porch and emptied an aerosol can of hair spray into the atmosphere. They’d blanch and back away as if just being near such a heretic might cause malignant melanomas to break out on their faces.

    I gotta question FredEureka’s statistics. 40% unemployed black men? Did she count the ones who are working off the books as pimps, drug dealers and whatnot? It’s not like there isn’t a flourishing underworld economy out there in the gang lands of America.

    No time to read until tonight, but just checking in to let you know that even though I am only about 15 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake, it was not bad at all. I was in the hardware store with about a dozen other guys and we thought it was the paint spinner acting up at first. No big deal. I have no earthly idea why they evacuated the Capitol in D.C., or closed the 3 New York airports, but I say lock the doors to the Capitol and keep them out until Jan. 2013. Later, friends…..
