“In fact, for months I’ve been trying to tell the American public that this president is dangerous [and] that he’s in bed with Putin,” Waters told host Joy Reid. “Don’t forget this president can’t borrow money in the United States from any bank. This president is looking at Russia for his new money, financial playground.”
Waters accused Trump and his former campaign associates—or as she called them the “Kremlin clan”—of having some form of an agreement with Putin to lift U.S. sanctions on Russia in exchange for help in the 2016 presidential election.

Maxine Waters, the Democrat Party icon and ‘rock star’ drew a crowd of seven people for an event in Inglewood. The ‘crowd’ included four students, two teachers, and one school counselor. They either felt sorry for her or they are just diehard supporters.
This event was held at St. Mary’s Academy. That is the district she represents but doesn’t live in. She lives in a mansion in a nice neighborhood.

FLORIDA: A Florida man was watching fireworks in his driveway when someone stopped and started yelling at him to remove his Trump flag. When he said no, the driver punched him in the face, then drove off with the guy’s arm stuck in the car. The man, who was dragged for about 30 feet said, “I have some bumps and bruises that I don’t think you want to see.”
NEBRASKA: GOP headquarters vandalized by some of those “tolerant” leftists who preach to us about “civility.”
NEW YORK: A woman wearing an anti-Trump T-shirt and spouting anti-ICE sentiments climbed the base of the Statue of Liberty on Independence Day, sparking a mass evacuation of Liberty Island and a nearly four-hour standoff with first responders before she was taken into custody.
Jim Geraghty noted, “In order to defend liberty, Okoumou risked damaging the Statute of Liberty; to help her country, she concluded she had to disrupt the Fourth of July events at an iconic national park. To demonstrate her commitment to justice, she threatened to push the ladder of law-enforcement officers. To fight back against the stereotype that immigrants are dangerous and have no respect for the law, the Congolese immigrant did something dangerous and against the law.”
She’ll be tried in a federal court for multiple misdemeanors.

“I am certainly working toward his impeachment,” Waters told Variety Magazine in an interview published Wednesday. “I think Mueller is doing a great job. I am hopeful that the Cohen tapes will be a treasure trove of information that will help move us toward that,” Waters said.

Stuff Nobody Will See
Late posting today. DW’s check came, had overdue bills to pay, had to get snow tires taken off and highway tires put back on. One was bad and the other one is wearing, so I had to buy another tire. Now I have to have my mechanic check for front end issues. Hopefully just an alignment, but I doubt it. Nothing ever comes easy for me. Then had to get groceries. Money sure don’t last long.

House Speaker Paul Ryan is not seeking re-election and will retire from Congress after this year, the Wisconsin Republican announced Wednesday.
“You realize something when you take this job,” Ryan told reporters on Capitol Hill on Wednesday morning. “It’s a big job with a lot riding on you … but you also know this is not a job that does not last forever. … You realize you hold the office for just a small part of our history. So you better make the most of it.”
