    I’m feeling that sense of impending doom that Mr. Carter describes.

    For once I don’t really begrudge the Obamas a nice dinner out on their anniversary, even if I think it is mostly for show. The last time we went out it was for $5 bologna burger night because I like to end up with something a little more – let’s say “permanent” – with my discretionary dollars than food. I’m saving for the 2012 elections.

    Bad news from the Supreme Court, RedPill. I guess we will just have to beat him the old-fashioned way – at the ballot box.

    Great articles today, Pete. The American Thinker one (“Obama’s contempt bordering on treachery”) is outstanding, and so is the Noemie Emery article (“Overrated”). Just what I’ve been saying myself ever since Øbama was elected, but Ms. Emery says it so much more eloquently and persuasively. Victor Davis Hanson is brilliant, as usual. Lots of good stuff to think about and pass along.
