This all changed in 1964 when LBJ got the Civil Rights Bill passed with the much-needed help of the Republicans. He knew bribing single women to replace the male in the home with a check for every child they bore would lead to governmental dependency. This was the beginning of the destruction of the family unit.He knew exactly what he was doing. He commented after signing: ‘this will keep the ni**ers voting democrat for 200 years.’

That’s part of what Bill Whittle covers in his excellent video below. If you want to jump to the part about the history of pro-slavery Democrats and the formation of the anti-slavery Republican party, then click here to jump ahead to the 3:52 mark.
Here’s the entire video:

Red, were you the one that posted this a while back? I loved it and started doing some graphics, starting with this one that I sent out to my bloggy listers:

This “new” one about black congressmen was lurking in my “Post” folder … probably finished it at the end of my energy or else on a day when I’d already posted more than enough. Then I forgot about it until yesterday when I decided to do some organizing.
Thanks for reminding me about the video and reposting it. There are some starter graphics about the KKK and such that were with this finished one … but my poor old gray cells couldn’t remember how I thought I’d use them. So ha ha! That’s how. Methinks I’d better finish them before I forgets myself again LOL.

Yes, that was me. It’s really quite amazing how Democrats, the party that fought to keep slavery, the party that fought to keep blacks from voting, the party that started the KKK, the party that until June 28, 2010 had a serving U.S. Senator who had been not just a member of the KKK but also a RECRUITER for the KKK, the party that has, at every turn, pursued policies that are detrimental to the black community, somehow that is the party that 90+% of blacks support with their votes.
It’s practically incomprehensible. But sadly, the answer lies in a mentality that has become dependent on government. The Democratic Plantation is now headquartered in Washington, D.C.
