Sorry, but I will not be rallying for Rush on this one.
He was had and he should have known better. He kept beating this stupid birth control story, feeding right into the Obama agenda.
Obama was losing the women’s vote. His campaign knows it and their reaction is to paint the GOP as anti woman. Rush just lapped it up.
While he is now admitting he was tooled. It did a lot of damage.
Frankly, I want him just to shut his mouth when it comes to women’s issues. PERIOD.
He does not understand women and he does not do research on our health issues.
For instance, when they changed the recommendations for less mammograms, it was a good thing. Yearly, mammos cause breast cancer. Our breasts were not made to be compressed and fried. Yet, Rush went on and on about how this was going to cost women’s lives. I get furious when he gets on this topic.
He did the same thing with the drug Avastin. This drug was pulled because it did not do anything, had terrible side effects, and cost thousands a pop. But Rush is always for drugs so he took up the drug company’s propaganda to keep this drug on the market or women would die. Women would be better off with nutrition that this drug!
We need the truth about health and as long as Rush keeps ranting about the untruths, women will continue to be victims of big pharma and companies like GE and Komen that advocate mammography.
And don’t get me started on that junk he is selling called he calls tea.

GP, I have to agree with you. When Rush talks about things he’s qualified to have an opinion on, then he’s interesting, but when he ventures into fields he clearly knows nothing about (health, nutrition, medicine, etc.) he can be infuriating.

ITA. I tried listening to Rush way back when he was fairly new and hubby was enthused. He ranted on about a health issue I knew a lot about and I totally disagreed with his take, felt he had not done his homework. I had a similar reaction to Prager, who I generally admire, but after he went off on a pro-boob-job rant (incl “take a second mortgage to pay for it”), I couldn’t listen to him for a long time.

There is not much talk around here about Agenda 21, but it needs to be added to the topics. This has been permeating for some time, and the reason former Obots are now supporting Ron Paul. They are waking up to the fact that Agenda 21 is coming from the democrats and has to be stopped. Some of it is overdone. I think the idea that jet trails are dumping toxins on us is just plain illogical. But the way the Clintons and now Obama have been pushing for UN control, cap and trade, climategate, etc. are all the means to get rid of US soverienty so that we “share the wealth” globally.
This is long, but a must see!

My sense is he will do what’s best for Israel, first, last and always, regardless of how it may or may not affect Barry O.
However, if Israel attacking Iran before November just happens to make it that much harder for BHO to get re-elected, I’m guessing Netanyahu would consider that a Big Fat Bonus.
