Mindful:thank you for your kind words yesterday. Commenters are gratifying because it means I’ve motivated someone to join the conversation. But my opening comment yesterday was due to the hits per hour this site gets. I take my posting priveleges seriously,but I don’t have the skill Chrissy does to insert awesome graphics,charts and references. Any idiot can copy and paste,but I try to use humor and my capacity for sick and perverse commentary to make people want to check daily to see what that idiot came up with today. In a pressure cooker world I try to be the release valve so you can be comforted by the fact that no matter how bad things are for you,at least you ain’t me.

Well, Ryan waved some Obamacare numbers around and we all thought that maybe, just maybe, it would sink in and some Dems would defect and defeat the beast. But Ryan was not persuasive enough. And he was not persuasive enough to get Romney over the finish line. I am not impressed with his policy or his political acumen, but the guy does know his numbers.
