BINGO is a slang term used in Scrabble for a play using all seven of one’s tiles.
A player who does this receives 50 points in addition to what the word would normally score.
Since “bingo” only has 5 letters, it can never be a BINGO.
However, it is a legal word … unlike NONGO.
NONGO is a slang term used in SCRABBLE for a BINGO you have on your rack that you can’t find a place to play on the board.
“Nongo” is not a legal word, so even if you have it on your rack and can find a place to play it, it’s just TDB.
TDB is also not a legal word.

I never heard that, but I have a BINGO fail tale. Not sure whether I should cut & paste (it’s short) or link, so I’ll just link to my best Scrabble story.
Although the board was crowded, I saw my opening, a lonely “s” that would work perfectly….

Sounds like sister knew how to play strategy. One would normally NEVER waste an S on a 2 point play … the one exception being to block your opponent from using it for a win. One thing I really enjoy about Facebook Scrabble is that my opponents and I all use a Scrabble Hints site. This aid not only helps us all learn new words, but also allows us to focus more on strategy. They say you should keep learning and challenging your brain as you get older. Me, I play Scrabble. 🙂

Heh. Don’t think she was playing nth-dimensional Scrabble. Just one of those, not much in the tile rack, not many open places, end-of-game kid’s plays.
