In an interview with HuffPost Live, Derrick Johnson, president of the Mississippi NAACP, said that Cochran could thank black voters by supporting efforts to re-establish protections in the Voting Rights Act that the Supreme Court struck down last year.

One of the many things Milady & I discovered we had in common was appreciation for Have Gun Will Travel. I just watched in the browser up to the point where Boone first appears, but I’m downloading the whole thing for us to watch together later. We both said we never got to see it enough, and the series being hung up in litigation preventing re-runs or DVDs for years was a long wait.
There is a new really well-done fan-made show called Star Trek Continues, carrying on the original crew. The very first scene of the first episode has a (virtual reality) cowboy pointing his pistol in Kirk’s face and saying those lines from the Have Gun opening. I knew I recognized them, but couldn’t remember where from.
