Another week almost finished. Still waiting for the weather to warm up for more than a day. And stop raining every weekend. There’s a big flea market at our county fairgrounds this weekend. DW mentioned it in passing, which means: I WANT TO GO. Since I had to sell all my toys I don’t collect anything and don’t have the disposable income I once had. But there’s an avon rep who sets up there where my beloved child bride stocks up on her year’s supply of Imari,her favorite fragrance. She also picks up some of D#1’s favorite perfume. I’d really rather not go, but over the years I’ve developed a healthy fear of her. Just sayin’.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch vowed on Tuesday to continue the Obama administration’s push for public schools to abandon their “zero tolerance” discipline policy, because critics claim it is aimed disproportionately at minority students and other “at risk” youth, including migrants and LGBT students.
“Schools should consider crafting goals covering the school’s provision of supports for all students, including students of color, students with disabilities, and students who may be at risk for dropping out of school, trauma, social exclusion, or behavior incidents,” the report states.
“Those with such risks include, but are not limited to, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students; homeless and unaccompanied students; corrections-involved students; students in foster care; pregnant and parenting students; migrant students; English language learners; and others,” it states.

The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports that the owners of Build-A-Burger told the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office that their surveillance system and cash register had been stolen early Sunday morning.
Deputies checked out a nearby hiking and biking path, where they found the following: Surveillance system parts, cash register parts, rubber gloves, loose change and “a steady trail of macaroni salad.”

Great, except for pushing pretty hard at work. We were out shooting that Colt AR-15 last weekend. Gruntessa threw her very first lead ever on it on Mother’s Day. I was so proud. 🙂 It’s a great rifle, too. Just a joy to use.

That might be a 5 rounder. We’re “allowed” a 10 rounder but it’s illegal to load more than 7.
Some sanctioned competitions 10 rounds are permitted. But not to save your family.

School Says Kid’s American Flag Might Cause Offense
Peyton drove his pickup truck to school on Wednesday with Old Glory and the POW-MIA flag hoisted in the truck bed.

This man just BEAT the IRS…with the media’s help
Lyndon McLellan has spent more than a decade running L&M Convenience Mart, a gas station, restaurant and convenience store in rural Fairmont, North Carolina. Then, almost one year ago, agents from the IRS came to the store and announced that they had seized his entire bank account, totaling more than $107,000.
Well it turns out that thanks to the Institute of Justice, this man has beat back the IRS and they’ve agreed to refund his full $107k:
Unfortunately it’s not a complete victory, given that he’s out $22k. Really, that’s a huge chunk of change and the IRS should recompensate him for that. But I suppose he’s lucky to be getting his money back in Obama’s America.

Judge In Ed Schultz Trial Has To Leave Courtroom To Get Her Anger Under Control
Howell has been trying her damndest to put on a believable nice front for the jury all week long. She smiles. She asks them how they are. She apologizes for keeping them waiting. And then, as soon as they go on break and it’s just she and the lawyers, Howell explodes in a fireball of anger.
Mind you, Schultz’s attorneys didn’t submit a single email from “Mr. Schultz” (as he’s called in the courtroom) because he took a page out of Hillary Clinton‘s playbook and erased them all. He cited getting hacked and the fact that he’s Ed Schultz for not having any. A big host with crappy ratings can’t have a thousand emails clogging his inbox now can he?

I saw our lawyer do this when we had a meeting with an unprepared lawyer representing an a$$hole client. They kept us waiting for an hour, then tied us up for 3 hours with b.s. Our lawyer had to call his office and cancel his entire afternoon. This meeting was supposed to have been a formality, 15 to 30 minutes tops. WE were prepared! I had to leave to cool off in the ladies. Dearest got sent off to do an errand. Our poor lawyer was stuck there. He stayed cool, then as we walked back to his office after, he VENTED … long and colorfully. I was impressed. I couldn’t be a lawyer.

Couple Pulled Baby In Trailer Behind Moped
Duo was nabbed returning from a Taco Bell run
Bianca Rose Allen, 18, and Mark Andrew Cherry, 21, were arrested Sunday evening after a state trooper pulled over the duo’s three-wheeled moped on a wet roadway in Myrtle Beach (the area was under a weather advisory due to Tropical Storm Ana).
According to a police report, the bicycle trailer was perilously tethered to the moped by a one-inch nylon strap (the trailer and the moped can be seen in the above evidence photo). The strap was attached to the bicycle trailer by a screw and washer that had “torn three quarters of the way through the strap.”
In addition to the weakened strap, the bicycle trailer had one flat tire and did not have any safety reflectors attached to it, investigators noted.
During police questioning, Allen said that her seven-month-old baby was “buckled up” in the bicycle trailer, adding that she was unaware that the carriage could not be used behind a motor vehicle.
