Don’t go to PP for REPRODUCTIVE care

When Addison was a college freshman, she thought she might be pregnant and went to the six-story Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast mega-center for help.

PP Gulf Coast - Houston megafacility

The center advertises itself as a women’s reproductive health center and claims to be there to care for poor women. As an uninsured college student, Addison assumed that meant they were there for her. She found the opposite.

  • “Low cost” – She was charged $70 for a pregnancy blood test.
  • “Caring” – She was forbidden to have her fiancé come help her with her fear of needles during the blood draw.
  • “Health services” – Before the test result came back, a clinic worker recommended abortion. Addison said she didn’t believe in abortion.
  • “Help you make decisions” – After the test results came back positive, the clinic phoned and said, “We know you said you didn’t want an abortion in your visit today, but we wanted to make sure that is still the case?”
  • “Best health care” – When she called back to schedule prenatal care, she was told that they didn’t have doctors for prenatal care.

Houston PP does not do prenatal

The fifth CMP undercover video was filmed at that same Houston megaclinic. When Addison saw it, their attitude toward her and her pregnancy made perfect sense to her.

“No wonder they wanted to abort my baby. They could charge me for an abortion and make money selling its body parts.”

More about the Nazi War on Christianity

Ludendorff and Nazis

From CtH: I never understood the real difference between Nazism and Communism, given that both built top-down, military-heavy governments that persecuted Jews and Christians.  Then I saw something in Bruce Walker’s, The Swastika Against the Cross: The Nazi War on Christianity, that seemed to make a lot of sense.  He said that the Bolsheviks eschewed all nationalism, while the Nazis embraced hyper-nationalism.

Why I no longer self-identify as “seamless garment”

I used to think seamless garment – aka, consistent life theology was the most Christ-like of Christian theologies. I no longer do. My first break came after listening to Dennis Prager explain why he believes capital punishment is necessary in a truly pro-life society.

Life is sacred

Today, I read this heart wrenching letter “Archbishop Cupich’s seamless bulletproof vest for pro-abortion politicians ” and understood more deeply how it is that some of my loving, devout, Catholic friends can still … even today … support and defend Democrat politicians and policies.

EXCERPT: “The seamless garment served, not to elevate issues in addition to abortion but as a bulletproof vest for pro-abortion zealots like Geraldine Ferraro and Mario Cuomo, whose places at the communion line have been filled in our time by Nancy Pelosi and Joseph Biden. Cardinal Bernardin’s clever piece of rhetoric still helps such politicians to believe that they are free to reject fundamental moral principles such as sparing the lives of the innocent, so long as they work with the bishops on expanding health care or funding food stamps.

“Some church leaders have spoken clearly about the radical difference between laws that protect the innocent, and particular public policies which might be best for the common good. In his time, Cardinal John O’Connor of New York taught, as your colleague Archbishop Charles Chaput recently has written, that protecting innocent life is a fundamental and non-negotiable condition for social justice. It is not in any way comparable to public policy questions where Christians have clear moral goals we must pursue, but must use our prudence to determine by open debate what mix of policies are the most just, and the most welcoming to Christ’s poor.

I encourage you to read the whole letter @ https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/archbishop-cupichs-seamless-bulletproof-vest-for-pro-choice-politicians

Capital Punishment is Consistent w/ Dignity for Life [21:54]

A priest explains how the Bible, Church Fathers and Doctors, many Popes and Catechisms, and even Christ Himself while He was on earth have asserted that civil authorities have the right to execute criminals, and that doing so is CONSISTENT with respecting the dignity of human life. Such action by the state isn’t just retribution for the crime of the condemned, but a merciful opportunity for the criminal to expiate for his crimes in this life so that he may live eternally in the next.

MY 1,200TH POST!

***WARNING!***WARNING!***WARNING!

THIS POST HAS BEEN INFECTED WITH COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF SELF-INDULGENCE AND BRAGGING ON FAMILY

There are few things in life that can match the look of unbridled joy in a child’s eyes; getting a gift he really wants for Christmas, riding a bicycle for the first time or catching a fish all by himself. Such was yesterday for me. I’m grateful God allowed me the chance to share such a happy time with my beloved grandson. When I went to pick him up early yesterday morning he was sitting on the porch, grinning from ear to ear. My BFF, Randy, had the boat hitched up and ready when we got to his house.it was the first time RJ had ever been in a boat, so I told him to do everything Randy told him to do.

Oftentimes a twelve year old can get restless, fidgety, start whining when the fishing is slow. RJ was a trooper, peppering us with non-stop chatter. Randy hooked the first catfish and asked RJ if he’d like to reel it in…..runaway choice for silly question of the day. After that we both let him bring the fish in while we manned the landing net. Truth be told, he DID hook, play out and reel one in all by himself.

The hours flew by and soon it was time to head back so I could get him home in time for him to make football practice. We stopped at the porta-pot before we left the boat landing and while he was doing his business Randy looked at me and grinned: ‘I think he’s hooked.’

‘Ya think?’

Randy mentioned we go out in the spring for pre-spawn crappies and he’s already making plans to invite himself along during his spring break next year. As soon as I got him to his house he proceeded to brag to his big sis that he caught five catfish and Grandpa Rick only caught one.

We’re going to watch his first game Saturday and I’m pretty sure his mom is getting tired of hearing about his prowess with a rod and reel. Yesterday was a memory he’ll be able to tell his children. I get to take that thought with me to my grave. Not too shabby.

I went out Wednesday and bought a digital camera. It was a good investment.

Fighting for its life

Planned Parenthood Abby Johnson: I saw the baby fighting for its life!

13 week

I had to have seven amnios with my youngest child. They were all ultrasound guided, plus I could feel her inside, and it was clear from the very first procedure that she did not like that needle coming into her personal space one little bit.

The amnios were about 2 weeks apart. Each time I went for an appointment, my unborn daughter would become agitated earlier and earlier in the appointment. Outside odors get into the amniotic fluid where the baby can taste and smell them and the smells in that office were unlike anything I normally experienced.

It was clear to me that she hated the needle and that she learned what smells, and maybe sounds, meant it would be coming in soon. By the last amnio, my daughter was kicking and rolling before they even started prepping me.

She was so agitated, the doctor had a hard time safely getting samples during the last few procedures. Finally, they resorted to shoving on the top of her head to make her curl up tighter in my womb, then while the nurse held her there, the doctor stuck the needle into the small space below the nurse’s hand to get the sample he needed.
