Life, family and religious values won big this week. Political correctness and radical left-wing causes lost. Word is the MSM is suffering vapors and has retired to the boudoir to dab lavender oil on its temples.
65% of Ohio voters rejected an initiative to legalize marijuana, despite pot supporters having out-spent opponents 20-to-1.
Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant easily won re-election, despite his public support for ending legal abortion in his state.
Pro-Life Republican Matt Bevin is now governor of the usually solidly Democrat state of Kentucky. Reports show that his defense of Kim Davis was a huge factor in his victory.
Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall easily won re-election against a Democrat opponent who had spewed the usual traditional values are “divisive, mean-spirited, and discriminatory” crap.
Uber liberal San Franciscans voted out the Sheriff responsible for freeing the illegal immigrant who subsequently went on to viciously kill Kate Steinle.
Republican Mike Harmon successfully challenged Democrat incumbent, Adam Edelen, for State Auditor. Edelen spent nearly $1 million on the campaign; Harmon spent about $40,000. Edelen had said he planned to run for Senator Rand Paul’s seat in 2016. Yeah, no.
Houston voters, who usually lean solidly Democrat, rejected the radical transgender law that would have forced men to put up with women and women to put up with men using their restrooms, showers, and changing rooms. The lesbian mayor of Houston demanded opposition ministers deliver copies of their sermons to her, then refused to put the issue on the ballot. She was overturned by a unanimous state Supreme Court decision and the law was voted down 63% to 37%.

Bevin’s lieutenant governor running-mate, Jenean Hampton, is not only a Tea Party Republican who got elected in a Democrat state, she is also the first African American ever in the state’s history to be elected to any statewide office. So much for the Dem’s much vaunted diversity claims.
