CATHOLIC: “The people who cheered the closing of churches and cancellation of Mass last year are now deeply concerned over Catholics’ access to the Sacraments.” – Catholic Vote

After the U.S. Bishops voted by an overwhelming majority in favor of drafting a teaching document on reception of the Eucharist, Congressman Ted Lieu, D-CA, called the bishops “partisan hypocrites.”

Lieu listed all the policy positions he promotes that contradict Catholic doctrine, then sneered, “I’m Catholic. Next time I go to Church, I dare you to deny me Communion.”

He’d be blessed if they did, because receiving Holy Eucharist unworthily is a serious sin.

FATHERHOOD: When I became too hypersensitive to chemicals to go to Mass, Dearest kept on taking our two young ‘uns. The church ladies oohed and aahed. When he decided the baby was old enough to go too, they slapped a halo on him.

When he told me about their reaction to him doing what moms do ALL THE TIME, he said it made him angry. “They don’t even remark on the women who bring their kids to church on their own. Making a big deal about me doing the exact same thing just speaks to the very low expectations they have for fathers.“

IRS: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) denied a tax-free status to a Texas-Christian non-profit on the grounds that “Bible teachings are typically affiliated with the Republican party and candidates.”

That has not always been true. And the only reason it is true now is that the Democratic Party has chosen to make themselves into the Party of God’s Enemies. If proclaiming the Gospel loses us our tax-exempt status, then it’s time we pay taxes.

TEXAS: Last month, Democrats opposed to an election overhaul bill and bail legislation staged a walk out in order to break quorum and block passage. Gov Abbott responded by vetoing the portion of the state budget bill that funds the salaries of lawmakers, staffers, and legislative agencies.
