COVID-19: On Monday, a federal judge upheld Indiana University’s vaccine mandate which requires students, faculty, and staff to take an experimental COVID-19 jab as a condition of attending classes or maintaining employment at the institution.
“The university is presenting the students with a difficult choice — get the vaccine or else apply for an exemption or deferral, transfer to a different school, or forego schools for the semester altogether. But, this hard choice doesn’t amount to coercion,” the judge said.

A subsequent post in the same group was automatically disabled because of “possible violence, incitement, or hate in multiple comments.” At issue were “Japanese beetles are jerks” and “Kill them all. Drown them in soapy water.”

HARVEY WEINSTEIN: Last year, Hollywood icon and abortion activist Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison after he was found guilty of first-degree sexual assault and third-degree rape. Last month, a New York judge approved his extradition to Los Angeles County where he has been indicted on charges he sexually assaulted five women. His next court appearance will be on July 29.

VIRGINIA: On Thursday, the Russell County school board voted 7-0 to reject the radical gender guidelines being pushed by the state’s Department of Education. The rejected policy says schools should “accept a student’s assertion of their gender identity without requiring any particular substantiating evidence, including diagnosis, treatment, or legal documents.”
