ABORTION: The Democrat Sacrament – On Friday, the Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) of 2021. Zero Republicans voted for it. One Democrat – Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas – voted against it.
If passed by the Senate, the “devout Catholic” in the Oval will surely sign it, enshrining totally unlimited abortion into federal law. The point of the bill is to prevent states from passing protections for preborn children, such as the Texas Heartbeat Act.
Pray that this horror be defeated in the Senate where there is a great deal of Republican opposition. Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine), who typically supports pro-abortion legislation and wants to see Roe v. Wade codified into law, has said she opposes the bill because it goes too far.
These bloodthirsty Democrats do not have the American people on their side. According to a 2020 Marist poll, 70% of Americans want abortion limited to the first trimester, including 47% of those who consider themselves pro-choice.

CATHOLIC: After a public outcry, the Archbishop of Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada announced Friday that it would no longer require Catholics to show proof of vaccination before entering Sunday Masses, baptisms, and prayer groups, but they will be required for weddings and funerals.
CHILD ABUSE: The next big push by the “follow the science” Left is to force the not-vaccines on minors. This ignores the actual science, which shows that COVID-19 causes only a short, mild disease in healthy minors and that the long-term effects of these rushed-into-global-use Gene Therapy Agents have not been explored.
At the link is a report published at Science Direct concluding that a “best-case scenario cost-benefit analysis showed very conservatively that there are five times the number of deaths attributable to each inoculation vs those attributable to COVID-19 in the most vulnerable 65+ demographic. The risk of death from COVID-19 decreases drastically as age decreases, and the longer-term effects of the inoculations on lower age groups will increase their risk-benefit ratio, perhaps substantially.”
I’ve never been one for conspiracy theories, but I’m more and more inclined to believe that funeral director who said this is a deliberate depopulation program.
CHICOMS: On Sept. 23, the Chinese communist regime flew 24 fighters into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The day before, Taiwan had applied to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
HATING ON TRUMP: Some Democrats in Congress are trying to abolish the Space Force that was created under Trump’s administration. Never mind that China and Russia have been doubling down on expanding their military capabilities in space.
HEALTHISM: There is a good article at First Things about churches requiring vaccine passports. The author says, “Christ is clear that our spiritual health is far more important than our physical health. As the Scriptures tell us, a fitting concern for our material well-being can easily become a disordered pursuit of wealth for its own sake. … We are rightly vigilant in our fight against wealthism. We should be equally vigilant in resisting healthism. … As secular institutions promote health at any cost, churches must be especially careful to resist the temptations of healthism.”

NORWAY: The government announced the end of pandemic mandates, declaring the virus will now be considered just one of several respiratory illnesses with seasonal variation. You know, like the flu.
VIRGINIA: Stacy Langton confronted her school board about two sexually graphic novels – “Lawn Boy” by Jonathan Evison and “Gender Queer: A Memoir” by Maia Kobabe – that are available in the middle school/high school library. When she held up illustrations and read excerpts, school board members interrupted her saying, “There are children in the audience here.“
Kinda the point, isn’t it?

I would have been there and said every single word I said if this had been the depiction of a heterosexual couple with heterosexual acts — pornography is pornography, and I don’t care what the gender is. And by the way, it’s even worse that the pornography involves children. That takes it to a whole other level of evil.“
