As police in Ottawa escalated operations for the second day in a row, a spokesman for the Freedom Convoy announced, “As a movement, we have chosen to peacefully withdraw from the streets of Ottawa. There is nothing to be gained by being brutalized by police.”

Comment seen online: “UN planes have been videoed in Canada and people at the protests are saying that these ‘cops’ don’t speak English or French and enjoy beating up Canadians.” I heard an on-the-ground videographer say these “cops” were not wearing Canadian police or military uniforms.
The newly hired Ottawa Police Chief has declared war on anyone who supporter or attended the protests. GiveSendGo has hidden the undisbursed trucker donations from Trudeau’s sticky fingers and their legal team is working on how to get the funds where they need to go. The company has asked people who donated not to request a refund because the funds “will be needed for the truckers and their legal teams.”
