Bits & Bytes

COVID-19: On Thursday, the CDC updated their ‘rona rules by a whole lot. They are no longer recommending testing “asymptomatic people without known exposures”, letting people make their own decisions about social distancing, and treating those who are “not up to date on COVID-19 vaccines” the same as those who are fully jabbed. In addition, people who catch the ‘rona only have to isolate for 5 days and individuals exposed to them do not need to isolate as long as they are asymptomatic.

END TIMES PROPHECY: [24:10] – Fifty years ago, Archbishop Fulton Sheen predicted what is happening now.

FAUXCAHONTAS: Politico has a column up claiming that the only reason Elizabeth Warren didn’t win the 2020 Democratic nomination is because she is lacking a prostate. Supposedly, in the hours following the January 2020 Iowa Caucus, she talked with the reporter that NBC had following her campaign. Speaking “with a characteristically biting edge in her voice … as if all the annoyance and frustration she had about the political system simmered right on the edge of her words, teeming on the top of her teeth, threatening to spill over”, she claimed ‘Everyone comes up to me and says, ‘I would vote for you, if you had a penis.’

GEORGIA: On August 1, the state’s Department of Revenue announced that the parents of “any unborn child with a detectable human heartbeat [are] eligible for the Georgia individual income tax dependent exemption.”

LAS VEGAS: After two major floods in two weeks, the Las Vegas Strip has suffered major water damage. Is it okay to be happy that sin city will be shut down for a while? CLICK [:27].

LIZ CHENEY: When Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) took office in 2017, she was worth a paltry $7 million. Today she is worth more than $44 million. Oh, and she is ashamed of “her” party (not your party Liz!) for being upset about the FBI raiding Trump’s home. A number of tweeters responded, “We’re ashamed of her too.” Twitchy said, “Liz couldn’t do more to nuke her campaign if she tried.” It won’t be long now, cuz she’s 30 points behind her primary opponent for next Tuesday’s election.

OUR LADY OF LA VANG: On August 17, 1798, King Canh Thinh of Vietnam ordered the extermination of Catholicism. Many Catholic fled into La Vang, a deep forest in central Vietnam, to avoid the king’s men. There they had to deal with hunger, cold, sickness, and wild animals.

The Blessed Virgin Mary began appearing to them in 1798; she was dressed in a long gown, was holding a newborn in her arms, and had two angels holding lights on either side of her. She taught the people to pick leaves that were available in the area and boil them with water to heal the disease plaguing them. And she promised “From now onwards, whoever comes to invoke me in this place, I will accept and bless them.”

The persecution lasted until 1886. During those difficult years, Mary appeared many times to support and comfort the faithful. Many Catholics were burned alive because they refused to give up their faith. After the persecution ended, the bishop ordered the construction of a church to honor Our Lady of Lavang. Later, she was declared the patroness of Vietnam.

PELOSI: CLICK [3:42] if you can stand to listen to her lie. I only got through 1:33 before my BP hit the roof. We don’t know the seriousness of the documents Shrillary DELETED either, now do we? And those oh-so-important laws against the improper handling of classified documents was IGNORED for her. So shut up.

PERSECUTION: Last weekend, Islamic terrorists murdered a 36-year-old priest in one parish and robbed women at gunpoint in another. Both churches are in Kikwit in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In Nicaragua, Marxist dictator Daniel Ortega has upped his war on the Catholic Church, shutting down all eight Catholic radio stations in the country and blockading Catholic facilities in two parishes. In less than four years, the Catholic Church in Nicaragua has been the target of 190 attacks and desecrations, including a fire in the Managua Cathedral.

Monsignor Silvio Baez, who had been stabbed and beaten, fled the country in 2019. In March of this year, Ortega expelled the pope’s emissary. And last month, Ortega expelled the Missionaries of Charity, the order founded by St. Teresa of Calcutta to give “wholehearted free service to the poorest of the poor.

Half the population of Nicaragua is Catholic, but Pope Francis has yet to comment. Agustin Antonetti, director of Latin America Watch, said, “Pope Francis’ silence on what’s going on in Nicaragua is scandalous. Daniel Ortega’s dictatorship is taking the churches by force, they have shut down all their channels and radios, even one priest is in jail, and the rest are afraid of being kidnapped.”

PRO-ABORT LIES: In the video (actually a podcast, nothing to watch), a board-certified OB/GYN explains the hows and whys of the Left’s offensive lies. [46:12] – It’s important to remember that, for Lefties, anything done in service to the agenda is automatically good. That being said, we should not be surprised at all that this document from Jane’s Army about the many sins of Anti-Choicers is riddled with lies and nonsense. I’m guessing the fact that I self-identify as “anti-abortion” wouldn’t matter to them, since respect for others ends the minute you cross any one of their many infinitely mutable red lines.

TRUMP: CLICK [:55] to hear the statement from Trump’s lawyer that Trump had a standing order in place that any documents he removed from the Oval Office were automatically deemed declassified.

VAXXX: A not-yet-peer-reviewed study out of Thailand found about a third of the 314 teenagers (13-18) studied suffered suffered subclinical cardiovascular problems after receiving the Pfizer ‘rona jab. These included tachycardia, palpitation, chest pain, hypertension, myopericarditis, pericarditis and suspected subclinical myocarditis.

A retrospective French study found that the rate of hospitalization with serious myocarditis following vaccination among 18–24 year-old males was one every 5,900 second Moderna doses and one every 21,100 second Pfizer doses.

The Thai study shows how much more frequent subclinical cardiovascular events are than these serious clinical events. In each Thai case, the problems resolved fairly quickly. However, the possibility these kids suffered hidden heart injuries remains.

VFAUXTUS: CLICK [:37] to hear Kammie give another one of her reports on the book she didn’t read. I must object to her statement that “everyone has the same capacity.” No. No, they don’t.

GRAMMY NOTES: [8:15] – Take the time to watch this. 🙂
