CATHOLIC: Saint Mary’s University, an allegedly Catholic institution located in Notre Dame, Indiana, not only allows a pro-LGBT student group to function on campus, but even has a center on campus that promotes homosexual and transgender activity.
But when a student applied for permission to start a Turning Point USA chapter on campus, he was told no, because the “style and content of Turning Point USA’s messaging around LGBTQ+ issues do not align with the mission and values of Saint Mary’s.“
Turning Point USA’s messaging agrees with Catholic doctrine that there are only two genders, male and female, that homosexual sexual activity is sinful, and that individuals with LGBT inclinations should live a life of chastity and abstinence.
CHICAGO: Lightfoot, the first Black woman and first openly gay person to lead the city, won her first term in 2019. She is the first elected Chicago mayor to lose a reelection bid since 1983, when Jane Byrne, the city’s first female mayor, lost her Democratic primary.
Naturally, she’s blaming her loss on race and gender, claiming she did a super duper good job as mayor. And, just to illustrate how awful her tenure has been, a Chicago criminal named Rodolfo Santillan was found guilty of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in 2015 and again in 2018. He currently wears an ankle monitor for two pending car burglaries he committed in 2021. Last week, Santillan was arrested after a concealed carry holder held him at gunpoint for allegedly breaking into yet another car; incredibly, he was released on a recognizance bond. Two hours later, he broke into another vehicle and was again arrested after good citizens detained him. And why wouldn’t he? He’s been shown again and again that Chicago “justice” is not on the side of its good citizens! But, oopsie, a judge finally got fed up and ordered him held without bail.

Not surprised those poor little school kids were traumatized. I was pretty traumatized myself the first time I saw the bodily mutilation involved in constructing a phony phallus, and I was an adult.

I didn’t learn what “sleeping with” (i.e., normal intercourse) was until 10th grade biology when the teacher pulled down a chart showing male and female reproductive organs in side-ways cutaway drawings.
I remember her using her pointer stick to basically say, “This gets engorged with blood and the male puts it in here and ejaculates the sperm.” Then, she handed around a display showing what different birth control devices looked like.
It took me such a long time to get over the “MY parents do that?! GROSS!!” reaction, thought I did finally understand why sometimes they would be in bed without their jammies on.
My gf asked her mother, “Why didn’t you ever tell me this?” Her mother sighed and said, “You never asked.” My mother claims she told me when I was in 5th grade. I have absolutely no memory of that discussion, so I clearly was NOT ready for it and just blocked it all out.
