BORDER: FAUXTUS’ Health and Human Services (HHS) has lost track of an estimated 85,000 kids who entered the country illegally as unaccompanied minors. Many of the kids who have been found so far have been working, off the books and underpaid, instead of attending school.

HUNTER BIDEN: Yesterday, a Delaware district judge rejected First Son’s sweetheart plea deal, allowing the investigation into his shenanigans to continue and exposing him to the full force of legal consequences for his actions. Currently, Hunter Biden faces the penalty of two years in prison for tax fraud, a $25,000 fine for each tax violation count, and up to 10 years in prison for illegally owning a gun.

MITCH McCONNELL: CLICK https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1684268327240097794 [:46] to see him zone out and require help to leave. He came back later, said he was fine, and finished the Q&A. McConnell turned 81 in February. I’m thinking we need an upper age limit on legislators the same as the Catholic Church has for priests (70 to 75 depending on the diocese) and bishops (75).

POLITICAL THEATER: Progressive Democrat Greg Casar held a press conference where he finally broke his thirst strike after refusing to eat or drink anything for 8 hours to protest for workers’ rights. Eight. Whole. Hours. ::yawn:: Between dawn and dusk of every single day of the entire month of Ramadan, Muslims refrain from all food and drink. This joker skipped lunch and called a press conference. Yeesh.

ROFL: Mr Retrops at Not The Bee said, “Tell me that switching the subtitles wouldn’t improve both of these movies significantly. Or even better a dark-humor fan fiction where the characters interact with each other.”

GRAMMY NOTES: Unless you are one of the rare people who has never been treated poorly by any professional, please CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH3iSKanN7s [13:49] to hear a physician validate your crappy experiences and get some excellent advice for how to prevent it from happening again. I’ve BTDT many, many times … mostly with physicians and priests, because they’re the ones I’ve gone to most often for help with my numerous weird problems. This guy really gets it and his advice is excellent.
I have been with my current primary since 2016. My husband always goes with me and I (almost) always bring my journal and any questions I’ve written down. One time, I forgot to bring my papers and my doctor seemed disappointed that I was unprepared to get the most from our encounter. Another time, I had so many questions that it took us 45 minutes to get through them. He not only gave me the time, but also was really energetic and engaged the whole time. I think the fact that he so strongly supports me being active and pro-active are signs that he is a really good doctor. And yeah, he always sits at my level when we’re talking and never wears a lab coat or ask me to disrobe unless/until it’s necessary.

Your delay could mean your protection.
Long ago, I developed the philosophy that one should appreciate the detours.
…exposing him [Hunter] to the full force of legal consequences for his actions.
Oh, sure. Right. Good one. I’m about to pass out from laughing so hard.
McConnell: I don’t recall ever seeing someone just freeze up like that. He was definitely having some kind of unhealthy moment.
We’ve been entangled with the medical folks more this year than in all our decades together. MiladyJo is looking at a double hip replacement. And, this week, SonM got knocked down by his dog. They’ve set his broken bones and sewn up the torn ligament, but he’s out of action for the rest of the summer. Speaking of delays & detours, they discovered a problem with his heart, so, might be for the good. Prayers for our boy welcomed. I’m not RC, but could I ask if St. Stanislaus Kostka could put in a good word for him. 🙂

I’m pretty sure the saints don’t care about your denomination. And I will remember your lovies in my prayers also. ❤

will remember your lovies Much appreciated. 💖
Looked up saint for broken bones and found St. Stanislaus Kostka. (Poor Stan only made it to 18yo). “He has also been invoked for broken bones, heart palpitations and serious illness.” So, bones and heart – just what our son needs!
I’ve thought a lot about that video you posted a few days back, with those weird beards and the high school healing. You know, growing up here in the buckle of the Bible belt, I got to see Oral Roberts hands-on healing folks every weekend on the teevee. Old lady throws her crutches down, and, then, is helped off stage. Hmm. I believe in healing faith; just would like to see more of God’s power, inasmuch as just about everybody I know needs so much help, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Can we borrow the weird beard? (Saying that with all respect and appreciation. I can’t grow that kind of beard!)

If you were RC, I’d encourage you to make use of the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. I indulge myself regularly. God always heals me in some way, most often of emotional, mental, or spiritual issues, but I also have experienced relief from the physical pain or an unusually quick healing from an infection.
