CLIMATE HOAX: Nobody has even attempted to dispute Dr. Patrick Moore’s finding that our use of carbon fuels SAVED us from carbon extinction.

EVERYDAY HEROES: During the late 1960s, Black Americans were frequently barred from using public pools. In 1969, the great Fred Rogers quietly challenged this social barrier by inviting François Clemmons, the neighborhood police officer, to join him in cooling their feet together in a small wading pool.

IRAN: Peace deal? What peace deal? – On Thursday, Iran’s military command warned that oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz must use Tehran’s approved routes or be met with a “powerful response.”

JOBS: Employers added 57,000 new jobs last month while the unemployment rate dropped to 4.2 percent.

MINNESOTA: My woke governor is bad, but not Tim Walz bad. A Laotian citizen na med Tou Lue Vang was convicted back in 2006 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after repeatedly violating a 10-year-old girl. He justified his actions as “a cultural thing.” He lost his legal status, got a final order of removal, and was set to be deported until Tampon Tim and the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission decided to pardon him. It is not yet clear whether Vang will remain in the United States or if federal officials will pursue further action.

Police recovered 22 firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in Howlett’s car, then found 30 more firearms, along with suppressors and thousands of rounds of ammunition, at his home. Among the weaponry were an under barrel grenade launcher and a .50-caliber M2 Browning machine gun. The latter, aka, Ma Deuce, is a military weapon known for its effectiveness against infantry, light armored vehicles, and aircraft.
NORTH CAROLINA: [1:56] – Weapons found in Milliken’s truck including a CO2-powered launcher designed to resemble a handgun, two flamethrowers, two crossbows, more than 500 rounds of ammunition, rolls of black duct tape, three knives, and Oxycodone pills.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: “If you advocate for the murder of unborn babies, you have no moral standing to judge slaveowners. You, too, believe some people are not valuable enough to be treated humanely.” ~Allie Beth Stuckey

USPS and ABSENTEE BALLOTS: In March, Trump signed an executive order directing the USPS to develop new standards for handling federal ballot mail as part of a broader thrust to bolster election integrity. On July 1, U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan ruled the USPS may not move forward with the proposed rule.

VATICAN: On July 2, the Vatican officially declared that the six bishops of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) who carried out illicit episcopal ordinations have incurred excommunication and that SSPX clergy and lay faithful who formally adhere to the SSPX are in schism.
Under canon 1364 §1, schism incurs automatic excommunication. For lay faithful, this applies only to those who “formally adhere” to the SSPX; per a 1996 test with two elements: an internal one, freely choosing loyalty to the Lefebvrist movement over obedience to the Pope, and an external one, shown by exclusively attending SSPX liturgies rather than those of the Catholic Church. Occasional attendance alone does not meet this standard. All SSPX clergy are considered to satisfy both elements automatically through their ministry within the movement.
SSPX was founded in 1970 by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who rejected Vatican II. The Vatican has been trying to bring the members of the SSPX movement back into full communion with the Catholic Church since Pope Paul VI.
