AMERICA 250: [38:03] – On Saturday, President Donald Trump delivered remarks in Washington, D.C., celebrating America’s 250th anniversary during the “Salute to America” event on the National Mall. His address was followed by a series of live performances and a record-breaking fireworks show.

DEMOCRATS: [14:28] – The Marxist mayor of New York City tried to cancel New York’s 250th anniversary of our nation. Other progressive mayors flew foreign flags on their city hall flag poles!

OH SAY, CAN YOU SEE: During his 4th of July speech, President Trump told the story of William Carney saving the flag during battle. It reminded me of what another African-American – First Lady Michelle Obama – said about our flag. When I googled to find the clip, I saw a bunch of articles claiming to debunk the claim that she said, “All this for a damn flag.” Funny thing is that they don’t offer any more plausible alternative interpretation. Personally, I don’t think we need a lip reading specialist to tell us what she said.

TRUMP: Mary Anne MacLeod was born in 1912 in a remote, impoverished village on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. At 18, she sought to escape the bleak economic hardships of post-WWI Europe by sailing to America. Arriving in New York City with nothing but a single suitcase and $50, she found work as a domestic maid and nanny for a wealthy family on Long Island. In the mid-1930s, she met a young, ambitious local real estate developer named Fred at a dance party. The two fell deeply in love, married in 1936, and became the parents of the 45th and 47th president of the United States.
