UK: “Fraser” is a 15-year-old boy who was searched and arrested by four officers at his home, then fingerprinted, mug-shotted, subjected to a DNA search, and locked in a cell, while police searched his bedroom and telephone. His crime? Mocking the fact that Simon Bennett, one of the city councilors, showed up to a formal meeting in a T-shirt and shorts. Fraser has been banned from attending future council meetings. Local authorities are still considering charges against him.

GRAMMY NOTES: Silviya Collins posted this watercolor on a Facebook group to which I belong, asking for feedback. I was so impressed, I took a screenshot of the painting with my comment to share with y’all. The artist claims to be “new and learning.” The quality of this work suggests she is going to become a real pro.
