CALI: The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) has officially announced plans to scrap its Next Generation 911 (NG911) system after spending over $450 million on development and partial rollout. This decision follows years of delays, technical failures, and operational issues that made the system unreliable for emergency use. The state is pivoting to a new statewide model, similar to those adopted in other states, with full implementation now projected for 2030 or later. This could add hundreds of millions more in costs to taxpayers. NG911 joins a pattern of other expensive and high-profile California project failures, like the DMV database overhaul and ongoing high-speed rail overruns.

MINNESOTA: Recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2023) shows that 1 in 16 Somali 4-year-olds in the state has been diagnosed with autism, compared to 1 in 53 overall for non-Somali children. Earlier reports from the Minnesota Department of Health noted rates as high as 1 in 21 for Somali children versus 1 in 44 statewide.
In September 2025, a 28-year-old Minneapolis woman of Somali descent was charged in a $14 million scheme where providers allegedly issued fake autism diagnoses to children, billed Medicaid for unnecessary services, and pocketed kickbacks. Prosecutors allege some defrauded funds (from autism and housing scams) were wired to Somalia to support Al-Shabaab, a terrorist group. DEREK CHAUVIN: Derek Chauvin’s attorney has filed new petition alleging prosecutorial misconduct. GOVERNMENT WASTE: The Department of Education is closing its in-house health clinic. Despite the fact that it only served patients between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., it cost almost half a million dollars per year to operate. In 2024, it provided a mere 267 services to a measly total of 60 patients. Services were noted individually, not by visit, so a single individual coming in for a flu shot would receive multiple services. On the vast majority of days, no services were rendered.

EPSTEIN: President Trump has signed into law the bipartisan “Epstein Files Transparency Act” which orders the Department of Justice to release “in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials” tied to Epstein no later than 30 days following the bill’s enactment.
The measure prohibits the Justice Department from withholding, delaying, or redacting records for political and reputational reasons. However, the department is allowed to withhold records that identify the victims; consist of child sexual abuse material; jeopardize an ongoing federal investigation or prosecution; or depict images of death, physical abuse, or injury of any person.
EVERYDAY HEROES: Registered Nurse Katrina Mullen (45) helped care for Shariya Small (14) when she delivered triplets at only 26 weeks gestation in 2020. The triplets Serenitee, Samari, and Sarayah, spent more than five months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
Despite being a single mom with three kids at home, Mullen tried to form a connection with Small for months, eventually learning the young mother was completely on her own. Mullen followed through after the babies were discharged, right up until Social Services determined Small was unable to care for the babies.
She took all four into her home, jumped through the state’s hoops to become a registered foster parent, and in time, legally adopting Shariya and becoming the triplets’ grandmother. Shariya has now graduated from high school, is looking at colleges, and hopes to become a social worker.

ILLINOIS: Lawrence Reed, a 50-year-old man on pretrial release for allegedly knocking a psychiatric ward social worker unconscious in August, has been federally charged with a terrorist attack or other violence against a mass transportation system. CTA surveillance video shows Reed dousing a 26-year-old woman with gasoline, igniting her, and watching as she burned before walking away. Reed’s victim is in critical condition with severe burns to her face and body. Reed is the 19th person accused of killing or trying to kill someone in Chicago this year while on felony pretrial release.

According to Grok, there is no tax money provided for transition expenses. Private donations to a registered Transition and Inauguration Entity (TIE) must come from individuals or permitted entities, and no transfers are allowed from campaign committees. Donations are capped similarly to campaigns, and excess funds must be returned to donors or the city’s election campaign finance fund. Funds can only cover transition-related costs like staff hiring, office space, and events—nothing else, with spending limited to January 31 of the year following the election.
One point he makes is somewhat deceptive. Right after saying they’ve raised $1 million so far, he says the average donation has been around $77 per donor. He then says that’s a lot lower than the last administration. This is true. But it also begs a question.
Eric Adams’ TIE received an average of $1,000 each from 884 donors, which was a bit under ONE million. In 2013, Bill de Blasio’s TIE raised an average of $2,392 from 820 donors, which was a bit under TWO million.

I heard a lot of chittering and noticed movement in the trees to my right, so watched for a while and saw what I think are two baby squirrels playing tag in the trees. They had a track that ran through the two pine trees and the maple tree in between. I got the clearest view when they ran to the end of a bare maple branch and flew off it on to a pine branch. It looked like they ran to the trunk, then turned around and went back, flying across the gap again, then into the maple branches and around into the pine tree by the shed. I think they were just enjoying the beautiful day as much as I was! ❤

CLOUDFLARE: Cloudflare is a content delivery network that provides network security. Its servers crashed yesterday, leaving websites around the world inaccessible. These include major platforms such as X and ChatGPT.
EPSTEIN: There is a tiny furor in Congress right now after it was revealed that Rep. Stacey Plaskett had texted in real time with Epstein on February 27, 2019 during a House Oversight Committee hearing where Michael Cohen (former Trump attorney) testified about Trump’s business dealings and hush-money payments. Plaskett’s office confirmed the exchange but described it as routine constituent outreach.
Plaskett has been the Democratic non-voting delegate representing the U.S. Virgin Islands in the House of Representatives since 2015. Epstein owned two private islands (Little St. James and Great St. James) in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which fell under Plaskett’s jurisdiction. Epstein had donated to her campaign, as he often did to gain influence.

TEXAS: On Tuesday, Gov. Abbott designated both the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as “transnational criminal organizations.” His statement said, “The Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR have long made their goals clear: to forcibly impose Sharia law and establish Islam’s ‘mastership of the world. … These radical extremists are not welcome in our state and are now prohibited from acquiring any real property interest in Texas.”
VIRGINIA: Ibraheem Samirah (34) has been convicted of wire fraud for using the COVID Paycheck Protection Program in May 2020 for personal gain. He has been sentenced to three years of probation and has been ordered to pay $88,000 in restitution. Samirah, a Democrat and former Virginia state lawmaker, gained national attention in 2019 for heckling Trump during a speech in Jamestown.

ICE: On November 9, Akhror Bozorov (31) was arrested while he was driving an 18-wheeler in Kansas. In 2022, Bozorov’s native Uzbekistan accused him of having ties to terrorists and issued a warrant for his arrest. He fled to the U.S. where, in February 2023, he was arrested by Border Patrol attempting to cross the border.
Despite the fact that his home country has labeled him a terrorist, the Biden administration granted him authorization to work and released him. Then Pennsylvania, under Gov. Josh Shapiro, gave him a Commercial Driver’s License. Cuz, yeah, terrorist illegal aliens should totes be operating 18-wheelers on America’s highways.
Even worse, Bozorov’s driver’s license has a REAL ID star on it, meaning he could use it to board a domestic flight or enter a secure federal facility or military base. Cuz, why wouldn’t we want to give terrorist illegal aliens ready access to high value terror targets?
According to the TSA website below, only someone who has met “all federal regulations that establish minimum security standards” can get a REAL ID. Riiiiiiiiight.
LIFE: I have never understood abortion for terminally ill fetuses. If the only life they get is in the womb, then let them have every minute. And let them die peacefully, not torn apart or burned to death. I have personally known two women who received the devastating news that their babies would not live much beyond birth. Both carried to natural delivery and never regretted it.

After the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, PA, then-FBI Director Chris Wray told Congress that the bureau had found nothing in Crooks’ online history that pointed to a motive or political ideology.
However, Crooks’ accounts on YouTube, Snapchat, Venmo, Zelle, GroupMe, Discord, Google Play, Quizlet, Chess.com and Quora showed that, while he had briefly been pro-Trump, he had switched sides, becoming radicalized and increasingly obsessed with political violence. All of this happened under his real name. There’s simply no way the FBI didn’t know it when they told us the exact opposite.

CA: A federal grand jury has indicted Williamson and four other co-conspirators of funneling $225,000 in money from a dormant campaign account. Williamson is also accused of falsely claiming more than $1.7 million in fraudulent business expenses on her taxes, for a $15,000 Chanel bag, a chartered jet and a nearly $170,000 birthday trip to Mexico.
