Charlotte

Since when did it become “civilized” and “a woman’s right” to dismember helpless children?

ABORTION Charlotte

Kay Hagan’s Abortion Record is Too Extreme for NC – Kay Hagan has stated there is “no chance” she’ll support the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to ban late abortion. She is considered one of the most vulnerable incumbents up for reelection in 2014.

The California Department of Managed Health Care has reclassified abortion as a “basic health service” under the Affordable Care Act and ordered all insurance plans in the state to begin covering surgical abortions immediately. California churches are refusing to comply.

Amazing Pro-Life Story!

ABORTION children vs choices

Posted Oct 20, 2014:

Last week, a Sidewalk Counselor spoke with a woman who was leaving the Planned Parenthood abortion facility. They went to a nearby place and talked for 45 minutes. The woman, “Mel,” said that she was pregnant but found out that her baby no longer had a heartbeat.

She was told by her doctor that she had to go to Planned Parenthood to have the baby removed. Mel felt very distraught, as she was pro-life and did NOT want to go there. She and her husband desperately wanted another baby (they have a 9 year old). The Sidewalk Counselor told her about a nearby pregnancy center where she could get help and they could find a life-affirming doctor for her right away.

Mel was so relieved to receive this info, however, before she left, she just HAD to tell the SWC about her experience inside the waiting room of the abortion facility.

Mel sat in the waiting area and began to comfort a woman who was sobbing. She told Mel that she was there for an abortion but was very confused. Mel told her that she needn’t feel pressured into getting an abortion, that she should be absolutely sure about her decision.

THEN, a third woman sitting in the waiting room came over to them crying after she overheard their conversation.

Mel told them she’d give anything to be in their place, because she wanted a baby but that the child she was carrying was not alive. One of the women stood up and told them, “that’s it – there is no way I can go through with an abortion!” She chose LIFE!!!! Just then, workers came into the waiting area and scolded Mel, telling her “DON’T TALK TO ANYONE!” Talk about choice, huh?

Please pray for all the pregnant women in our community who are considering abortion, and please pray for the abortion facility workers!

Bruce Braley: Democrat Pro-Abort and Liar

Some people will say anything to get elected, but it is what they have done that tells us the most about what they will do if elected. In the case of Iowa’s Democratic senatorial candidate Bruce Braley, what he’s DONE proves that he’s the kind of radical abortion supporter who would turn a blind eye to the likes of Kermit Gosnell.

Is Islam more violent?

On September 4, 2014, CNN host Don Lemon hosted a panel to address the topic: “Is Islam more violent than any other faith?” Seriously. He really did that.

One panelist predictably brought up the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition AND the Conquistadors.

Amazingly, Lemon insisted the panel stick to MODERN TIMES.

The Crusades were wars fought in response to MUSLIM AGGRESSION against Christians in the 11th century, which was … let me think … 21 minus 11 … a LONG TIME AGO.

The Spanish Inquisition was also a really LONG TIME AGO; it lasted for 350 years and resulted in the total deaths by legal execution of 3,000 to 5,000 individuals who had been tried in a court, not shot in the face during a home invasion or blown up at their desks.  And … oh yeah … it was also in response to MUSLIM AGGRESSION.

The Conquistadors came to the New World 500 years ago, mostly seeking wealth and glory, not to force non-Christians to convert or die. The missionaries that accompanied them to spread their religion were peaceful men who established schools and stuff.

That poor CNN panel! They were left with nothing but the pathetic “anti-abortion terrorism” argument.

Uh, yeah. No.

Firstly, before blaming violence committed against abortion providers and abortion clinics as due exclusively to some not-Muslim religious motivation, you would have to first demonstrate that the perpetrator was not motivated by either a personal vendetta, insanity or a generalized will to maim and kill.

Hey. Fair is fair. After all, the Lefties said the Fort Hood shooter’s actions were “workplace violence” due to “secondary PTSD”, despite the fact he yelled “Allahu Akbar” while he fired on unarmed office workers and had oodles of extremist Muslim propaganda on his computer.  Those deaths are not included in the Wikipedia list of Islamic Terrorist Attacks that I used for the graphic below, while the Wikipedia list of Anti-Abortion Terrorist Attacks I used admits that the perp in a 1998 clinic bombing is believed to have also bombed Centennial Olympic Park in 1996 which I think seriously calls into question his allegedly “religious” motives for the clinic bombing.

Secondly, before blaming anti-abortion violence on religious zealotry, you would have to demonstrate that the perpetrator(s) of the violence had been motivated exclusively by teachings of an actual religion, in the same sense that Muslim extremists are following specific teachings from the founder of Islam and as laid out in their holiest book, the Koran. Violence perpetrated by disturbed individuals following a cult leader don’t quality.

All the leading religious leaders and pro-life organizations CONDEMN violence, even to stop abortion. But you can find any number of Muslim clerics going Rah Rah about ISIS shooting people in the face and kidnapping their daughters for sex slavery.

ALL that being said, you would still have the teensy weensy problem of BODY COUNT. Even ignoring all deaths in active extremist Muslim aggression war zones, you still have a staggering number of innocent civilian victims of pure, out and out MUSLIM terror.

UPDATE: The Gosnell Movie

Gosnell Movie banner

We have some great news!  We’ve just signed up the best-selling author and screenwriter Andrew Klavan to write the script for the Gosnell Movie.

Andrew has written a number of internationally bestselling crime novels such as True Crime, later adapted for a film directed and starring Clint Eastwood and Don’t Say A Word which starred Michael Douglas. As a screenwriter, Klavan wrote A Shock to the System, which starred Michael Caine, and One Missed Call, starring Ed Burns and Shannyn Sossamon.

Andrew said: “This is so much more than a job of work for me. As I’ve begun to get into the research materials, it’s started to come home to me that we’ve all taken on a huge responsibility. The women who were brutalized by this Gosnell monster — they can tell their stories.  But all his victims, all those babies — we’ve got to figure out a way to speak for them somehow.”

In a lengthy writing career Klavan has been nominated for the Mystery Writers of America’s Edgar Award five times and has won twice.

His essays and op-eds on politics, religion, movies and literature have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The LA Times, and elsewhere. He has also produced several popular political satire video series, including “Klavan on the Culture,” for PJTV.com, “A Very Serious Commentary,” for Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze.com and his current series “The Revolting Truth,” for TruthRevolt.org.

We are delighted that Andrew had agreed to write the screenplay. He is unafraid of the darkest parts of this story and sees, despite all the horror perpetrated by Gosnell, hope and light in the many real heroic characters that finally ensured justice was done. He also understands that the story needs to be told in an entertaining and accessible way to reach the widest audience possible.

Kermit Gosnell is America’s least known serial killer. We want to change that and almost 27,000 of you have donated to make this happen. Andrew won’t let you down.

We are excited to get the movie underway. We know that you are all waiting to see it and that is very motivating for all involved.

Thank you for your support – and lets begin this exciting journey together. You will hear from us again soon!

CONVERTED: From Abortion Provider to Pro-Life Activist

Tree of Life - Placenta

There are five talks posted at YouTube by individuals who left the abortion industry. If you want to pick and choose, click on “Watch on YouTube” at the lower right hand side of the embedded video.  I have not listened to them (yet), but I am part-way through the Linda Couri talk.  It’s good enough that I thought I’d go ahead and share the link with all y’all.

NARAL’s poll left out a lot of important questions

2014_08 NARAL abortion opinion poll

June 2014 – Just one example of a recent poll that separated out a possible restriction:

“Should abortion be legal after 20-weeks?”

75% said “No.”

(Note: Some of these said exceptions should be allowed for rape, incest or life of the mother, but fewer than 3% of the millions of abortions performed in the United States are done for these reasons!)

Pro-Life vs Pro-Abortion

I don’t believe there is such a thing as “pro-choice.”  How can you be “tolerant” of evil?  Sometimes I hear, “If you don’t believe in abortion, don’t have one. But don’t interfere with my right to do so.”  Ooooookay.  How about this?  “If you don’t believe in slavery, don’t own one. But don’t interfere with my right to do so.”  Hmmm?

Innovative way to save babies

Church of the Resurrection

The Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Lansing, Michigan, leased the building housing Womancare abortion clinic … and handed the abortionist an eviction notice.  The church plans to use part of the building for parish office space; a pro-life group will use the rest.
