Removing Two More of Obama’s Federal Jackboot Heels

The Senate recently canned two sets of regulations finalized late last year by Obama’s Department of Education.  One of them is 695 pages long!

PAY ATTENTION HERE:  These are REGULATIONS created by non-elected, federal government employees that usurp education functions that the Constitution specifically says belong to the States.

According to Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), not only does the federal government lack the constitutional authority to interfere in local decision-making about education, but also the REGULATION he speaks against specifically violates a LAW passed by Congress just last year!

Ben Sasse Speaks Against Federal Teacher Mandate [11:27] < WORTH VIEWING

I am fundamentally opposed to the federal government having anything to do with education.

I believe it puts too much distance between the people making the rules and the teachers and parents who know their own kids best.

Plus, the more centralized anything is, the more people who need to be bribed or blackmailed to get decisions made that benefit those with lots of money and very few morals.

Exhibit A: The Common Core textbook scandal that Project Veritas exposed, showing textbook publishers explaining that Common Core was all about the money, not the kids.

No Child Left Behind and Common Core have both been tried and have both proven to be failures.  Constitutionally, education is a state function.  Get the feds out of education!

Common Core Exposed

Project Veritas investigated Common Core.  It wasn’t pretty.

Maybe I’m naive and maybe I’m wrong, but I agree with Santorum, that control of curriculum standards should be at the grass roots level.  I also believe in giving parents tuition vouchers that apportion to each school-age child a fair share of the education tax dollars.  Let them spend those dollars where they choose.  If a local school is doing well, parents won’t take their kids out.  But lousy schools will very quickly fail, as they should.

Saturday Stormwatch

It’s late morning here at the old bunkhouse. Everything is quiet. We went to WalMart early this morning to stock up on things before the first of several storms heading this way. This first will start late this afternoon and will continue until late into the night. After a brief period it will begin again and snow until late Monday. Best guesses by the local weatherdoofuses say from 8-12″, maybe more, usually not less. After driving a truck for 35 years, I’ve faced far, far worse conditions, but at my age it’s just a pain.

Trump transition team reviewing military rules of engagement

Trump often blasted the rules of engagement during the campaign trail, arguing they were too favorable to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
“We’re sending leaflets down [saying] ‘in an hour we may be bombing your truck.’ Please remove yourself from — we are — we don’t know what we’re doing,” Trump told Fox News on April 13.

Mika Brzezinski: Clinton Campaign Tried To Get Me ‘Pulled Off Air’
Clinton Campaign Wanted Mika Pulled for Warning Against Thinking Race Was Over
“I’ll just say it: NBC got a call from the campaign. Like I had done something that was journalistically inappropriate or something, and needed to be pulled off the air.”

Michigan House Passes Stricter Voter ID
Now, the Michigan House of Representative is taking steps to ensure that future elections are held fairly, and it’s not one Stein is gonna like: they passed a stricter voter ID law. Currently, voters in Michigan are required to show an ID or sign an affidavit before voting, but this new bill would mandate that a person who signed an affidavit also show a photo ID within 10 days of the election for their vote to be counted.

Betsy DeVos at Trump Michigan Rally: Time to ‘Finally Put an End to Federal Common Core’
“In deference to the U.S. Senate confirmation, I’m not giving interviews, but just between us let me share this,” DeVos said to the crowd, speaking from prepared remarks. “It’s time to make education great again in this country.”

Progressive Caucus: Trump’s Cabinet is a ‘Collection of Stooges’
With only a few exceptions, the individuals that President-Elect Trump has appointed is the greatest collection of stooges and cronies and misfits we have ever seen in a presidential administration,” Huffman said.
“Some of these folks only qualifications for the job they are being appointed for is that they have attempted to dismantle and undermine and destroy the very agencies that they are now hoping to run.”

Hillary Clinton’s losing campaign cost a record $1.2B
The president-elect, who confounded critics during the campaign by saying there was no need to raise or spend $1 billion or more, ended up making do with $600 million.
Clinton’s expensive machine tore through $131.8 million in just the final weeks, finishing with about $839,000 on hand as of Nov. 28.
Team Trump spent $94.5 million in the home stretch — from Oct. 20 to Nov. 28 — and had $7.6 million left.

Brian Williams Criticizes Fake News After Losing NBC Job for Exaggerating Iraq Story

The MSNBC host then talked about how fake news had played a role in the 2016 election and that it continues to find a wide audience in spreading misinformation.
Williams did not mention his own history of exaggerating details of his own reporting. In February 2015, Williams was suspended as the anchor of NBC’s Nightly News and eventually removed from the position after it was discovered that he falsely claimed he was on a helicopter under enemy fire in Iraq in 2003, Stars and Stripes reported on Feb. 4, 2015.

Trump Tells The Silent Majority — ‘You Aren’t Forgotten Anymore’
The president-elect further stated to the crowd that his election win showed that the “forgotten men and women” turned up to the polls and were responsible for delivering a GOP victory.
After a dramatic pause, Trump told his supporters, “you’re not forgotten anymore,” which earned huge cheers from the crowd.

Black Lawyer Calls On Black Jurors To Vote ‘Innocent’ For Any Black Person Accused Of Murdering A White Person
Elie Mystal, an editor and contributor to the law blog Above The Law, posted a December 7 article urging all black Americans who end up on juries to engage in “jury nullification” by automatically voting to acquit all blacks accused of crimes, especially that of murder, against white victims and to do so no matter how much evidence is brought to bear against the suspect.

Scarborough: Trump Cabinet Picks So Conservative They Could Have Been Made by Ted Cruz
Joe Scarborough weighs in on Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks so far, calling them “consistently Conservative.” In fact, he says they are so Conservative they “could have been made by Ted Cruz.”

Senators move to protect ‘Dreamers’
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) rolled out legislation on Friday to try to provide an assurance to such people in case President-elect Donald Trump nixes the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. They’re calling it the Bar Removal of Individuals who Dream and Grow Our Economy Act, or BRIDGE Act.

“It’s all about the power of God against the power of man.” –Hilmar Von Campe

SHOCK: Obama Forming “Hitler Youth” Under Common Core [8:34]

If you think the video above is a bunch of extremist conspiracy theory hooey, consider the following …

BOOK Swastika Against Cross

EXCERPT: “Consider the inscription over the clinic at the Hitler Youth center at Halle: ‘The Faith fanatics, who still to-day slide down on their knees with faces uplifted to heaven, waste their time in churchgoing and prayers, and have not yet understood that they are living on the earth and that therefore their task is of a thoroughly earthly kind. All we Hitler people can still only look with the greatest contempt on those young people who still run to their silly Evangelical or Catholic Churches in order to vent their quite superstitious religious feelings’.” [Page 54]

Former Hitler Youth Whistleblower Hilmar Von Campe Warns Of America’s Nazi Future (1:00:04)

  • “Their purpose was to destroy Christians and destroy Christianity.”
  • “They had realized that a higher authority would hinder their plans. So they wanted to get God out of society.”
  • “If you look at the United States of America, that is exactly what … these godless people are doing.”
  • “The Nazis … come from the same fruit as Socialists and Communists.”
  • “Today the Congress and the President are closer to the Nazis than they are to the Founders.”

This is long, but a talking head, so you can just listen. Please DO LISTEN.

School children sing praises to their savior Obama [2:26]

Song 2 is even creepier than Song 1, because it’s sung to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Compare what words these very young children were taught to sing instead of the traditional, biblical, Civil War era lyrics that I’ve printed below.

ORIGINAL LYRICS: The Battle Hymn of the Republic

The images are based on the account of Jesus’ victory in the final battle at Armageddon from the Book of Revelation.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:
His truth is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
His day is marching on.

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
“As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal”;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,
Since God is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me.
As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,*
While God is marching on.

*This is often now sung as “let us live to make men free,”

Go away, Hillary. Please.

HILLARY we're tired of you

I’m so disgusted by her behavior on the so-called “I’m just like you” tour. Not only does that “Scooby van” costs more than my house, but she parked it in a handicapped spot! I’ve also heard she hasn’t tipped any of the people who have served her.

Sadly, one of them is considering voting for her anyway. What a dope. Really? You’re SO DUMB you actually think she could be good for the country when she’s such a selfish, elitist bitch that she KEEPS THE CHANGE on a $20 while talking about the $2.5 BILLION she plans to spend because “It’s my TURN! I’ve paid my dues!” That’s just beyond pathetic.

Hillary screw the common man

And DON’T get me started on education. She’s all for Commie Core. The best thing I can say for her comment below is that she clearly understands the real goal of Common Core, which is to steal kids hearts and minds away from family and God and turn them toward serving the state and its elitist leaders.

“Clinton initially responded to the question about how to fix the U.S. educational system by praising Common Core. She then said that families today are too ‘negative’ about the current system, a system Clinton described as ‘the most important non-family enterprise’ in the country. After noting what she described as ‘unfortunate’ opposition to Common Core, Hillary Clinton also blithely dismissed the concerns of Common Core opponents by saying they just ‘do not understand the value’ of the controversial top-down curriculum.”

No, Shrill. The reason opponents are fighting Commie Core is because we DO understand the “value” of it and we HATE what it’s doing to our children and our nation! But what the hell do you know about truth, justice or the American way?

“All four of my grandparents were immigrants” … except for the three who were born in the United States.

Lefting the hearts and minds of your kids

The federal government is shoving the “Common Core” curriculum into schools. Below is a real assignment from a 6th grade class in Bryant School District in Arkansa. The assignment says, “You have been selected to work on a National Revised Bill of Rights Task Force. You have been charged with the task of revising and editing the Bill of Rights. .. You will have to prioritize, prune, and add amendments.”

Common Core Revise the Bill of Rights

These students have not been taught what the Constitution or the Bill of Rights mean or how they came to be. They have not been taught to appreciate their remarkable and extraordinary place in the history of world governments or how well they have worked for more than two centuries. They have also not been taught the mechanism provided by the Constitution for properly amending the Constitution.

The child whose mother posted this assignment said her daughter had no idea what the amendments meant or why the class had been assigned to throw out two old ones and invent two new ones. She only knew she’d been told to do it, so she had to do it. Oddly, the assignment reassures students that it’s okay to disagree; however, they cannot complete the assignment unless and until every single person assigned to their committee agrees!

Meanwhile, an AP American History review book presents a faux version of the Constitution.
