Change - No promise for the better

Please note that all this began with the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. And the list could be much, Much, MUCH longer, except I don’t have the heart to compile it.

March 2009: A leaked secret report from the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) profiled third-party supporters, homeschoolers, people who know the U.S. Constitution and people who have related bumper stickers on their cars, fly the flag or invest in gold as potential domestic terrorists.

April 2009: A Department of Homeland Security published “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”, a report which expressed many of the same sentiments and targeted the same people.

August 2009: The Obama administration created flag@whitehouse.gov and encouraged people to rat on their friends, acquaintances, colleagues and neighbors who don’t like Obamacare.

[Fill in Fast and Furious, Benghazi, drone attacks, kill lists, NSA spying on citizens, DOJ targeting Pro-Lifers refusing to pay for abortions, IRS targeting Obama’s political enemies, yada yada yada.]

January 2013: The Director of Terrorism Studies at West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center published a paper in which he identified racists/white supremacists, anti-federalists and fundamentalists as the three far-right groups responsible for a “dramatic rise in the number of attacks and violent plots” in America.

Anti-Federalists: He defined these as people who discuss and object to a “New World Order” and who feel that the federal government has become overly corrupt or tyrannical, infringing our Constitutional rights.

  • RAAAAACISTS: Anybody who doesn’t like Obama’s policies.
  • Fundamentalists: Christians who take the Bible seriously.

August 2013: the Concord, New Hampshire Police Chief asked Homeland Security for a quarter million dollar armored vehicle which he said they needed to combat domestic terrorism threats by “groups such as the Sovereign Citizens, Free Staters and Occupy New Hampshire.

  • Sovereign Citizens: The worst the FBI has to say about Sovereign Citizens is that since 2000, lone-offender members have killed six law enforcement officers nationwide.

  • Free State Project: This group promotes New Hampshire as a great place to live, because it has a “small government” attitude. The group has all of seven members in Concord.

  • Occupy New Hampshire: This group is Left-wing, pro-Obamacare and anti-business.

Interesting aside. I went to Occupy New Hampshire’s website. They are decidedly unhappy about the Concord PD characterizing them as domestic terrorists. But hey, that’s how it goes when you support Big Government. Why shouldn’t the PTBs turn the vast machinery you handed them AGAINST you, huh?

You think your Obama t-shirts make you safe? Read the history of the French Revolution. When those turkeys got done slaughtering their enemies, they turned on each other and then the people got so sick of the violence that they elevated a strong leader named Napoleon. Cuz, you know, nothing says “We want freedom” like a guy like Napoleon.

American student punished for refusing to recite Mexican pledge

The Thomas More Law Center HAS filed the suit on behalf of Texas high school student, Brenda Brinsdon, alleging the McAllen Independent School District violated the 15-year-old girl’s constitutional rights when she was forced to recite the Mexican pledge and sing the Mexican national anthem. Brinsdon, who is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant and an American father, refused. She believed it was un-American to pledge a loyalty oath to another country. Ironically, the school district has a policy that prohibits a school from compelling students to recite either the American Pledge of Allegiance or the Declaration of Independence!

White House sends ominous email to critic

Early today, Bob Woodward (of Watergate and Deep Throat fame) criticized President Obama on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” saying it was a “kind of madness” for Obama to say he wouldn’t deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of the sequester vote. budget concerns.

He asked if anyone could imagine George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan or “even Bill Clinton” saying they would not attend to our national defense because they’re pissed about some budget vote in Congress.

This evening, Woodward appeared on CNN saying that a “very senior person” at the White House contacted him after his appearance on “Morning Joe” and said he would “regret doing this.” “It makes me very uncomfortable to have the White House telling reporters, ‘You’re going to regret doing something that you believe in,'” Woodward said.

ICE is required by Congress to maintain 34,000 immigration jail beds. As of last week, the agency held an average daily population of 30,733 in its jails. Nevertheless, DHS up and decided several hundred of these “underflow” criminals should be released rather than kept behind bars or shipped back where they came from.

According to the National Immigration Forum, it costs the government about $164 a day to keep an illegal immigrant facing deportation jailed. In a report on immigration detention costs last year, the advocacy group said costs for supervised release can range from about 30 cents to $14 a day.

Arne Duncan claimed on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that there “are literally teachers now who are getting pink slips, who are getting notices that they can’t come back this fall.” The only example he could cite was Kanawha County, West Virginia where officials say that the “transfer notices” (not pink slips) had nothing to do with sequestration or firing. They were sent, as required by law, to about 100 educators who may be moved to a different position next school year, because of a change in the way West Virginia plans to allocate funds for poor children.

BHO makes major power grab

Section 1022 requires military custody (read: Gitmo) for all persons arrested and detained according to the provisions of section 1021. There is a vague option allowed for American citizens and legal residents to not be detained by the military, but it’s an OPTION, not a requirement.

In other words, you really could be arrested and and detained indefinitely at Gitmo, without formal charges or hope of a fair trial, simply for making life uncomfortable for Obama and company.

This is not some tinfoil hat conspiracy theory.

Under Obama, the Dept of Homeland Security has officially declared that military veterans and people who hold a pro-life position, support a third-party presidential candidate and/or believe the Second Amendment gives them the right to own guns are ALL potentially dangerous DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.

  • Under Obama, the Department of Justice dropped a slam-dunk case of voter intimidation because the perps were Black Obama supporters.
  • Under Obama, the Department of Justice has sued states, corporations and individual citizens simply because they refused to kowtow to White House directives.
  • Under Obama, huge numbers of Americans have been put under threat of fine and/or imprisonment if they dare to put their own religious beliefs and conscience rights ahead of the Obama agenda.

Keep in mind that legal powers invented by one administration pass on to the next. It should scare the bejeebers out of EVERY voter that the Obama administration is not just fighting to keep this one, but also was so incredibly QUICK off the mark about doing so.

If you’re talking to an Obama-phile who thinks it’s no biggie, because Obama would never do anything bad … ask this: How about George Bush? Would you have wanted him to have that much power? What if Mitt Romney wins? Do you want him to have that much power?

My guess is they’ll blanch at the very idea. When they do, just walk away. It will be enough that you planted that splinter of doubt in their kool-aid soaked brains.
